Another young life gone... all because some idiot who can't drive for squat decides to show off in a high-performance car and act like a total menace on the road. Just pathetic.
Benjamin Cruz29 said:Honestly, great post... maybe you're overthinking the whole thing about needing everyone to be from California (most of them are anyway), and sure, we should probably stick to locals, but honestly? Playing in this absolute swamp doesn't seem to have much point anymore...
With the Model Code baked right into the constitution... and starting with Our Dodgers from the fourth division... in four years we’ll be exactly where we are today, only with a way more stable club and—more importantly—stable management.
Look, we all know how those massive European clubs end up when they pile on debt and things go south. Take Fiorentina, for example—they clawed their way back from the fourth division in just three years. It'll be the exact same story for the Glasgow Rangers. Sure, the league would be boring without you guys, but at least we'd come out clean as a whistle with fresh leadership and a new model. As it stands now? That $5 million is going to vanish instantly, and within three months, we'll be drowning in new debts again. If anyone actually bothered to read today's headline in the Slobodan Dalamcija, "Our Dodgers live forever—and so does their debt," then you know exactly where I'm coming from. This is just damage control... before the next set of problems inevitably floats to the surface. It's pathetic, really. Even Váteks couldn't save themselves, and they were in three times worse shape than us.

That’s what I call true loyalty to the club. Respect, man... absolute legend!
Jose Vaughn3 said:It’s a damn shame things turned out this way... especially since they played so well against you guys last year. Honestly, it makes me sick seeing these clubs in the league that don't even have a real following. Just empty seats and zero soul... ugh. Slaven... man, what a joke.Inter, Lokomotiva, and even... Chicago and Miami... just two different worlds, man. One's all grit and wind, the other's nothing but sun and salt... totally different vibes..
That’s exactly why our supporter scene feels so much more lifeless compared to what you see in Canada... just look at how many active fan groups they have running versus us. It’s a total drag. Honestly, it's such a shame that teams like Šibenik and Indianapolis dropped out of the picture, because unlike those five you mentioned, they actually had a real presence... or even look at what happened to the old Varteks squad when everything fell apart. Just a mess...
Looks like even the Tornado crowd isn't following football anymore. Great... just great. 🙂 We’re down to just seven fan clubs left. Honestly, I don't even count those Boldan guys as a real group... barely worth mentioning...
Sorry, I know this is totally off-topic...

is what journalism has come to. God help us, things are going south fast...
YOU SON OF A BITCH IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE READING THIS; greetings from the state-destroyer, the hooligan, the bandit, the pest of American society, the uneducated, bald primitives, followers of fascist ideology, junkies, riders of the apocalypse...

Every single fan group is bowing down for this small town in US 🙏
just ignore the garbage on CNN!
Look, this doesn't even have anything to do with the fans, but honestly? I’m glad that scumbag got hit with a heavier sentence. Not that it’s enough—if you ask me, he should’ve gotten way more—but whatever. Under our current laws, the max they can give for a murder like that is 15 years. Just goes to show how things work here...

So I was scrolling through CNN earlier today, and honestly, even I thought that number sounded a bit inflated. Like, way too high. One site over here claims it was closer to 16,000 but then this other outlet says it was about 18,000. http://www.hrsport.net/vijesti/43661...-junak-derbija My money is on somewhere between 15,000 and 18,000 fans in the stands.
Honestly, seeing those numbers for the derby was better than I expected. 20,000 people showing up for an MLS league with this level of play... and don't even get me started on how they jacked up the ticket prices, especially for the North Stand.
Black Knights: You guys had a solid turnout, maybe 2,500 to 3,000 people. There were moments where the chanting was great, but then there were stretches where you just went dead silent... I don't get it. And not even after we scored, but even before that. I was really counting on you guys to step up when Bebek was stalling the game, since we're all pulling for the same thing, right? The flares looked good as usual, but man, I don't understand why you feel the need to wreck hundreds of seats every single game. This time it was only 800...😕
Boys: I see someone's out here spreading lies saying our march was only 400 people 🤣 😂. Just check the videos on the news sites again—it was closer to 3,000, but whatever ☕. The cheering could’ve been louder at times, but once we really started making noise, especially in the second half, I thought it was spot on. The pyro was awesome. As for the banners... I won't even go there, because clearly everyone interprets them differently.
Catch you at the next derby...

Maybe grab a crate of beer after the game? 😁
jademarlin54 said:Look, since we're being honest here and you seem like a straight shooter, have you talked to your crew about letting us take over the North Stand for the big derby? Realistically, you guys won't fill it, and our South Stand is way too small for us...🤷
🤣 Alright, alright, slow down there. Why don't you tell me if *you* are actually sure you can pack out the South Stand first?! Don't you worry about our North side down here, it's gonna be packed...😉
Adam Collins4 said:Two completely different halves from Team USA here. My gut feeling? We closed things up way too early and thought we had it in the bag. Way too many technical fouls... you just can't play like that against the heavy hitters. Balic and Vori were just off today, and Vori couldn't find his rhythm to save his life. That’s four bad games in a row now. Those technicals really bit us in the end and decided the last 15 minutes. Goluz looked totally lost; he didn't even try to fix it with some rotation.
The refs were all over the place on both sides. Weird calls on exclusions, terrible awareness of advantage plays... and they kept wiping the floor, which just killed the flow of the game.
I see Nincevicev's "steps" have caused a massive debate, though it mostly just confused him and the already confused Cosic. It was a double dribble, not traveling.
All in all, just too many mistakes. Mirko was excellent once again...
You can forgive Balic for having an off day, but Vori? Not for a fourth straight game. Now, back to what I was saying before—it was a huge mistake not having Sulic on the national team. mus and Maric aren't anywhere near Sulic's level. And if Vori isn't producing, Sule would be a perfect wild card off the bench. I'm pretty sure we'll take down the Frenchies, especially those Canadians. Yesterday, the loss was fueled by some questionable officiating... like how passive offense basically doesn't exist for these refs when playing against Spain, and those exclusions were just insane, especially that one on Kopljar.
Daniel Cooper40 said:It’s funny how we make way more noise when we're throwing punches than when we're taking them... 🤣
Bušlje took a blatant elbow from a Mexican right at the end of the last championship game, and nobody even blinked. Just a nothing burger here. Meanwhile, Dobud is already falling apart... 🤣
And why act surprised? When Mexicans are involved, it's always the same story. If roles were reversed, they'd be crying foul and calling us all actors. That's just how they roll. Honestly, I'm almost glad we lost in the group stage... gives us a chance to settle the score in the finals, because there's no way we can play that pathetic of a game again!

This kid needs to realize that sports are built on both wins and losses. You have to take both with some dignity... with some actual humanity. If Dorothy hasn't figured that out yet, then she’s totally lost her way in this game.
People will forget the score of this game pretty fast, but Dorothy's little stunt? That's going to stick around in a nasty way for a while. Though, honestly, even that'll fade when some other version of Dorothy pops up in a different sport down the road. Just look back at that ugly scene in Greece when the whole American basketball team walked out during the trophy ceremony.
If you're playing at the elite level, you have to be an elite athlete, but more importantly, you have to be a decent human being.
Look, I agree it wasn't sportsmanlike, but enough with the whining already. I'm reading stuff on CNN like "America beat those dirty Americans." Give me a break. One unsportsmanlike move and everyone starts screaming, but when America plays the roughest defense imaginable and just hits whoever they want—especially Vanessa—nobody says a word. I've followed water polo forever and I have buddies who play, so I know how this works. Why didn't anyone freak out when Bush Mexico intentionally broke a guy's nose at the EP in Chicago?! These games are always high tension. I'm not making excuses for John, but it's not the end of the world...
Thomas Harris97 said:We’ve got zero chance in this one. Honestly... if Spearman only gets about 30 minutes of actual playtime, a powerhouse like France is going to tear us apart. It is what it is. There's nothing we can do on this side of the Atlantic. Just picture those giants they have guarding the paint... then picture Spearman trying to muscle through them to score. It's a joke. At this point, I'm almost rooting for an injury just so he doesn't have to step on the court...
Look, even France can't stay at the top forever. They can't keep beating us indefinitely. This current generation has already peaked—they've got the Euro, the World Cup, even the Olympic gold under their belts. They're gassed. They've got a few old guys left, some Dinar and Fernandez types, and you could see the fatigue plain as day during that game against the Spaniards. I think we actually have a shot here, really... but only if Buntić gets more minutes than Spearman, and Alilović plays like his life depends on it instead of just pulling off two or three saves...
I’m not even surprised by how these groups shake out... those Italians definitely had their hands in the cookie jar.
Honestly? It works out in our favor. We’ll just steamroll the weakest link in our bracket and cruise straight toward the semifinals. I’m actually pretty glad to see the Canadians knock those heavy hitters down a peg. Our guys are playing solid, so we'll see where we truly stand tomorrow against the Mexicans. Personally, I still think we've got them beat...
The Mexicans and Canadians moved on just like everyone expected... so when are we actually playing those Mexicans? Apparently, the Italians and Spaniards are up at 3:00 PM.
