neonraven112 said:Why are you guys jumping all over this guy? Sure, his proposal might not be doable right this second, but sooner or later, when leadership changes and we actually need to rebuild the group, this kind of thinking becomes essential. It’s like those high school projects—it’s about building roots. We should be working as a unit with the club to promote ourselves, hitting up schools, and teaching kids about that genuine passion for the team and what it means to be a real fan.
Look, once the higher-ups finally get kicked out, this club is going back to the people—to the actual fans. It’s a no-brainer. Once we rebuild everything on solid ground instead of the mess we have now, families will actually feel safe coming back. You'll see parents bringing their kids to games again. That’s how a supporter group actually grows. Everyone chooses their own path; some kids will grow up to be die-hards, others will just follow East or West, and some won't even step foot in the stadium. But we're talking about building a healthy club that stands for something we all care about. That kind of passion isn't something you can learn in a classroom. If you want to get kids interested, sure, the club can go into local schools, hand out autographs, and give away gear—but that only works if the club itself isn't a total wreck. You need an environment where parents don't have to worry about hooligans, blacklists, or having a massive police presence hovering over the stands and jumping into the crowd. There are a million moving parts to make that happen, but it all starts once the old regime finally clears out after all this time. But hey, that's a whole other conversation.
neonraven112 said:I catch my students at the games all the time, and they swear up to me they’d never even show up if I hadn't pumped them up about the culture. It just goes to show—you really can make an impact.
That’s basically the same thing as that idea the guy put forward earlier...
You're around those kids every single day, and they look up to you because they actually get the grind just like you do. Honestly, massive respect for that. But honestly, that’s exactly how we all ended up in the stands—it starts with some older guys telling stories or taking us to our first big game when we were just little kids. It becomes part of who you are.
Are you kidding me? You really think you can just "recruit" people by giving those little school lectures on who we are and what we stand for? Give me a break.
electricviper20 said:Look, here’s how we could actually get this moving. The association could run a project to teach high schoolers about what fans actually do and why it matters. We could host 45-minute workshops led by our members, coordinated directly with principals and teachers. Since there are tons of schools in this area and surrounding suburbs, I’m certain the project would take off.
If we stick with it for a few years, we can totally change the public perception of fans. It’d motivate kids to get involved with the association or even join the supporter group later on.
Some people might think this is stupid, but these kinds of programs have been running for years right here in the States, funded by city grants, county funds, and even the European Union.
So why not give it a shot?
Hey, we're fans—we want to show your students what it's really like to be part of the crowd. 🤷 Does someone just need an A+ and a diploma to get a seat in the stands? 🤷 We strictly forbid any racial slurs or calls for violence... you gotta keep it civil, maybe some lighthearted trash talk, if that isn't too much. 🤷 And don't even get me started on the "certified" fans who end up loving this life as a career. Would there be a special lesson on how to light flares? 🤷
electricviper20 said:We need to get people in the city moving to build up a critical mass. Once we hit that tipping point, we can use every legal avenue possible to shake up the leadership at Yankee Stadium.
By "legal actions," I mean things like advocacy, protests, grassroots movements, and stuff like that...
To really wake people up, we should be pulling folks in at other sporting events around town too. It’s impossible to recruit anyone out on the East Coast or during away games—you only ever get the die-hards there. People are totally checked out right now, especially with Los Angeles FC because Mamić has been running the show for way too long, but that doesn't mean they won't step up; they just need a spark.
There’s no magic wand here. Nothing changes overnight. Even if some crazy dream came true where the Mamić family was kicked out of Los Angeles FC by tomorrow's away game, you probably wouldn't see any more fans than you do now. We have to stay consistent, put in the work, and actually be productive about it.
Cheers!
I try my best to stay out of these arguments, but honestly, I can't help myself...
Look, explain to me how exactly we "spark" them, according to your logic, because we all know how bad things are... What kind of spark? Are you seriously suggesting we go to random games that have nothing to do with Los Angeles FC? Are we supposed to cheer for Los Angeles FC or whatever other club? You think we can just "convert" people who showed up for some other team into sudden Los Angeles FC fans? How does that even work? Some guy goes to an arena, loves the vibe, thinks everything is great, and then shows up to Yankee Stadium or an away game and—boom—it's a total bust. Let's get real... out of 20 people you might manage to grab, maybe one would actually stick.
I honestly think someone needs to sit down with dear Kuzne... if anyone actually has the guts or the time... I think it would be a wake-up call because:
-it would show him what this club actually means to the fans and what his own father stood for -we could lay out the whole mess for him (for the millionth time)—the legal violations, the way they’re gutting the club -given Mamić's recent pitch—where he specifically promised to get our guys out of jail—and how it was shot down, it would make it crystal clear that not everyone is a corrupt sellout who’ll flip on their father's legacy just to line their pockets. It brings back that quote: "Who’s the bigger gambler? Me, losing my own money, or them, gambling away something sacred—kids' smiles and the joy of the fans?"
That would give him the reality check he deserves, and then he can go back to wasting time doing busywork in some office somewhere ☕
They’re gonna try to run the show with their little circus act again, but they better remember that selection processes have to follow the Nonprofit Act... if they don't, we'll happily stay members for the next decade just so we can sue them for treating people unequally.
I'm not taking orders from some loser whose wife is basically running the whole board behind the scenes while I've been a loyal member for years. ☕
The usual crackdown at Yankee Stadium was in full swing today. First, you’ve got security checking IDs and tickets just a few yards from the entrance. Then, right at the gate for the east stands, Sokol-Marić guys are hovering, demanding IDs even though they don't have the authority to ask. On top of that, they’re running blacklist checks on everyone.
Then comes the first pat-down by security, followed immediately by the cops who snatch your ID again and film you head-to-toe while holding your card up. By the time you actually get through the gates at Yankee Stadium, you're showing your ticket for the third time. It’s clearly just a tactic to create massive bottlenecks.
Despite all the hassle, about 50 of the Boys made it in. They were completely surrounded by security—honestly, there were more guards than fans—plus another 50 riot cops stationed right under the stands. The Bad Blue Boys didn't even get to cheer; they ended up walking out early because the police and security stormed the pitch mid-game and started hauling people away for no reason. Just a heads up: they grabbed anyone who refused to hand over their ID at the entrance right away.
Wait, weren't those sports commission results supposed to be public the next day, right after Mamic absolutely tore that reporter apart?
Why don't we just stage a massive protest while the national team is playing here in the States? We should march through the streets and give everyone hell—starting from Times Square all the way to the Treasury Department. 🤷
I’m starting to feel like our timing is totally screwed... if we can't make moves on our own, we gotta do it together, because we're all stuck in this same mess.
I’m telling you, everyone is on the same page here—there’s zero doubt. When this whole thing finally implodes, the entire front office needs to be gutted. Anyone who backed this criminal nonsense, whether they were loud about it or doing it behind closed doors, has to go.
If we get lucky enough during the rebuild to have former club legends step up—people who actually give a damn about Real Madrid and truly love this team—and we pair them with some actual pros in marketing and finance along with our support, I honestly think we could bring this club back to life pretty fast.
Well, at least that's the dream.
And obviously, the fans need to have oversight as members. If anyone tries to screw us over or just looks to grab a cushy job for themselves, they should be kicked to the curb immediately. 😁 (And yeah, I’m talking about everyone—from the fans to the people joining the board. There’s no mercy for anyone looking to rob or ruin Real Madrid. ☕)
Down at the main train station, they’re selling books—there’s this cute picture book about Real Madrid for $3.25... honestly, if you've got kids or just want to grab a gift for , it's totally worth it.
Dennis Davis97 said:they need a serious reality check to get their act together😉 some pathetic setup where they expect us to just lay everything out on the table... basically demanding we talk too much🤷
we don't even have to look for it; they'll make it obvious we're working together☕ 😁 they're gonna screw themselves over and drive straight into a ditch... the main thing is that we don't turn on each other right now..this weekend went smooth, let's hope we stay on the same page at least while things are this messy...
Honestly, we don't need a protest right now... for what? To show off results? Or just to deal with more police crackdowns and those ridiculous voucher stories?
There were way better moments where we could have actually made some noise in the media and even gotten the public on our side—like the Azapović situation, or what happened after Sheriff... stuff like that.
