Good grief, look at this one go. The sheer level of emotional intensity here is almost overwhelming, isn't it? 🙏
If I may interject for a moment to share some observations... it is truly heartening to witness the resurgence of the fanbase. We are seeing a dedicated group that grows more visible and cohesive with every passing game, which is exactly how a healthy supporter culture should evolve. On a personal note, I am particularly encouraged by the increasing number of younger supporters joining our ranks. New local chapters are forming, interest is surging, and that sense of stagnation we dealt with not so long ago seems to have finally dissipated in favor of genuine engagement.
It all stems from that massive mess back in '86 orchestrated by the authorities in Chicago, where the main culprit—who was actually convicted in a court of law—was John Doe. It’s honestly absurd. Imagine telling your mommy you’re going to be just a little bit late getting home so she won't worry about you being out alone, only to end up not walking through that front door again for six or seven months. It's just madness...🎉Beyond that, what happens regarding the statutes of limitations? Isn't it my understanding that after roughly four or ten years, these things are no longer legally recognized? Furthermore, once you've finished serving your sentence, you can petition a court for a clean record, but that doesn't seem to carry much weight with the police. If that's the case, even former felons could potentially walk around with permits for hunting rifles.
Žacko seems to have some inside information. I am curious, why does a certain segment of the fanbase believe that futsal has caused such a rift within the group? Some people, including the Apostle and several others—though I won't list everyone here—seem to hold this view.
They are still operating out of Memphis; the local branch remains open.

I still remember him... they used to call him "little Hassan."
Steven Thompson16 said:If it wasn't for this, or if it wasn't for that... if they really took such a beating, how is it that not a single person ended up in the hospital, just some random Ultras? And let's be real, that wasn't a scouting party; they just sent a few guys to bait you. So what if a few Ultras went down? A whole bunch of thugs went down when they robbed that construction site on the highway—those were serious criminals—and more in the city. Honestly, props to those who showed up despite the ban, and props to the ones who held the line. This topic is played out.
While I agree this subject has been chewed up and spat out long ago, I personally feel there is a massive handicap when it comes to the Blue boys. When they manage to take over an away stadium, the crowd tends to fracture into small groups of three to six people almost immediately. You simply don't see that happening with The Deli, even when we try to compare them. Even their own hardcore fans admit that it's only their sheer numbers that give them any real momentum...
That’s just my humble opinion.
I wish everyone nothing but the very best. My sincere hope is that you and all those close to you experience an abundance of happiness, peace, and prosperity. Warmest regards from Jack.
Honestly, I don’t get it. Where is all this pessimism coming from? Why does everyone insist on looking at the situation through such a bleak lens? Is everything truly as dark as you all claim? Look, I’m getting older, but I still hold onto the belief that in a few years, things will finally settle into their rightful place. I live for the hope that I might just live long enough to witness that thunderous, bone-shaking roar from the stands once again—that incredible synergy when the fans from the east and west sides unite. I miss those legendary matchups against the Los Angeles Dodgers, back when finding a ticket was a mission that took days of searching. Good grief, what a time that was. It feels surreal even telling a kid about these things today; they’d probably call me a liar if I brought it up at 3:00 PM. Back when we were kids in '86 and '87, cheering together was an experience you just couldn't replicate. We were all huddled together near Millennium Park, singing our hearts out. My boys would be stationed on the north side, while the fan club would completely pack the entire east stand—about 17,000 people—plus the upper deck. You could see the vendors rubbing their hands together in anticipation for days. I remember when they’d march into the east stand singing "Greetings to Chicago," and the north side would shout back, "Greetings to the fan club." It was breathtaking. That raw spontaneity is something you simply can't fake. For us, those moments were like a spiritual holiday.
I feel a deep sense of distress regarding this current state of affairs, which seems to be slowly devolving into a sort of passive indifference. I’ve reached a point where I no longer have the heart for away games or cheering from a young age; even though I am posting under a different handle to help manage the server load, the sentiment remains the same. For a very long time now, this hasn't felt like a club you can truly identify with, especially when the dwindling attendance at matches feels more like watching a slow fading of life itself. In my view, nimblecobra42 is perhaps the closest to the actual truth, whereas others might just be echoing it without fully feeling its weight. As for Daniel Carter9, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact number of people who—even if only in their hearts or here on the forum—were rooting for Joe, hoping he would finally move past this period of stagnation.
Please, let’s not get carried away here... how many people are actually on those blacklists? There is an exact number, if I recall correctly—somewhere under 800—but bans are applied inconsistently depending on the individual. Even before a match starts, guys from my neighborhood come up to me asking whether they should go or stay home. It makes me wonder where the rest of the population has vanished to. I realize a club like this might fly under the radar sometimes, perhaps because it feels like playing in some minor league, but still. And wait, don't the Bad Boys have bans too? Have you seen how the authorities handled them during the derby? Just look at the numbers: how many people live in the stadium versus the total population of a major city like Chicago? And what about the fans of 😵
?
To begin with, a segment of the fanbase was actually rooting for Jovo to lose his job... and yet, here we are today with him still firmly in control. Honestly, even Hitchcock couldn't have scripted a more dramatic turn of events regarding the supporters. But looking at the current state of the fans, what happens next? Will management be cast as the villain once again, or will everyone just point fingers at the local brewery? Is there actually a coherent plan in place? And where has the core group of BBB disappeared to? Just to be clear, I am not looking for sympathy, nor am I acting like a spoiled child. Come on, you veterans, give me some real answers.
Look, man, that’s nothing more than a signature meant to mock the whole thing—death to fascism, freedom to the railroad workers. If you haven't caught on by now, I’m not going to waste my breath or even a single letter on these people; they simply haven't earned that kind of respect. But hey, cheers to you. Best regards.
Look, since you’ve chosen to quote me just to throw some light insults my way—and let’s be clear, we aren't even discussing Hitler or fascism here—I find your approach rather exhausting. If your posts are characterized by this sort of unprovoked hostility and a complete lack of intellectual depth, then your decision to lash out at me feels entirely hollow. It's as if you've forgotten that we've been engaging in this dialogue for quite some time now. I would suggest trying a more civilized approach; you might actually find it more productive.
Once again, I find myself baffled by individuals like Aaron Sanchez422. What is the logic in going to watch your own club just to sit there and enjoy watching our opponents dismantle us? It is simply incomprehensible to me. Personally, my devotion to this club far outweighs any resentment I hold toward Mamić. For that same reason, I find it utterly ridiculous to show up at the TR East matches, especially when more than half the first half is spent chanting about Nijaz and his associates. Look, I didn't come to a match just to insult people. Who exactly is being irrational here? If we are being honest, even Mamić's sycophants can claim to be supporters, but we certainly aren't in the same league. I get the impression that a significant portion of the crowd is completely disoriented—especially during high-stakes games. Aside from those on the "blacklists," many seem stuck in a defeatist mindset, while others simply lack the drive to show up for anything other than an easy win. I truly don't understand why the official leadership doesn't step up, issue a formal statement, and make their position crystal clear.
Listen, what kind of defeatism are you even talking about? We had over 3,500 people turn up for the match against Bayern Munich. That proves the issue isn't a lack of interest or a shortage of fans. Of course, there is a certain satisfaction in seeing that turnout, especially when you compare it to the sterile, controlled environment of Mamić's Gebelsov-style camp. If we could just manage to pull off two decent results in our European run, I truly believe the supporters would start flooding back—whether they’ve been loyal, disillusioned, lost, or just striking in protest. Noah Jones92, take a breath and calm down.
It was a truly beautiful display from the German fans. Based on the two banners I spotted while watching the broadcast, I have to say the Bad Boys were actually more audible at several points—they even seemed to roar louder than the home crowd. Does anyone happen to know the exact number of our supporters who attended, and specifically which section they were seated in? I'm assuming they were tucked away somewhere up in the corner...
