I’m curious about what the music scene was actually like during the war. What kind of shows were happening—aside from those politically charged ones? Was it easy enough to just go to a gig, or did people feel guilty about being out at a concert while their fellow Americans were dying on the front lines? Also, did any foreign bands ever tour through Chicago during the conflict? I grew up in a much later era, so I don't know much about this period, but I'm genuinely interested. Please share your own experiences, or anything you heard from friends or anyone else 🙂

I considered picking one up, but you need serious cash for the real deal... I'll send you some links later.
Thanks! I’d really love to get my hands on one... mostly for the coins. I saw some detectors on eBay for as low as $80, but I have a feeling importing them might be more of a headache than it's worth.
Hi everyone. I'm looking to pick up a Metall detector, so I'd like to know what the price range looks like, where I can find one, and any basic info you might have. I want to learn everything about it.
