Back in the 80s, the public was on our side because everything aligned with nationalism and the drive for independence and breaking away from the old regime... In the 90s, people supported us because everyone opposed changing the name to America, and even there, support began to wane over time... Unfortunately, over the last decade, the American people have become so brainwashed and dull that they can't grasp anything anyway. Real hardcore fans are on our side regarding Mamić, but they remain passive; they are too preoccupied with daily struggles and the sheer monotony of life to bother fighting against the windbags. People simply don't put the team at the top of their priority list... It's more important for them to figure out how to survive paycheck to paycheck and secure a decent life for themselves and their families)
Throughout our entire history since the beginning, the Bad Boys have been seen by the public as a problematic group prone to chaos and incidents. So what?
The thing is, our struggle used to resonate with the majority, so they supported us regardless of any hooligan outbursts. Now, in an era where everyone obsesses over tolerance and liberalism, they condemn us instead.
For example: when the stadium was set on fire to protest a name change, the public didn't judge us nearly as harshly. But when a few flares are thrown at the sheriff to protest Mamić, the petty bourgeoisie immediately starts spitting venom on news sites while self-satisfyingly judging us.
Ultimately, a group will always have a core of a few hundred people. Depending on the era, various influences, and circumstances, there will be a number of followers and sympathizers who aren't part of the core but show up to away games, cheer, and understand the vibe.
Whether that number is a few hundred or several thousand depends on far too many unpredictable factors...
It would have been much more effective if there were video footage to blast all over the news media. As it stands, this will just end up as a press release on the BBB website, lingering on the news sites for half a day before being completely forgotten.

Don't let the optimism get ahead of you. This is certainly a major step forward and worth celebrating, but we aren't at the finish line yet. You have to consider the kind of mob and the general state of affairs we are dealing with in this country.

During that match, the group from the North Side stormed in alongside Mack and his crew. It all kicked off because of the flares being set off in the stands—and of course, there was that song about Turkey, though they kept it subtle. The police report focused on the pyrotechnics.
But honestly, let’s not dwell on those days. Just hearing certain names and people from that era makes me sick to my stomach. There are much more pressing and important matters to discuss right now.😉
In the future, we will constantly face UEFA fines because of flares, which ultimately hurts our own club. Does this mean the Black Knights will stop putting on pyro shows just because they love the team too much to let it pay the price?
Or will people light them regardless of bans and penalties, triggering a revolt from regular fans and non-ultras?
It’s a double-edged sword. You lose either way. Either you're labeled a hooligan or an extremist who ignores the rules imposed by the higher-ups under the guise of "civilized behavior," or you're seen as weak for obeying UEFA, the laws, and the authorities, essentially falling for their blackmail.🤷
