Any idea what I could get for this setup?

Cooler Master
LC Power Pro 917B Titus X case
LC Power Silent Giant Green power supply
Seagate 1 TB hard drive
AMD FX-8300, AM 3+, 3.3 GHz processor
8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 1866 RAM
Biostar TA970 motherboard
LG DVD drive
LG and AMD R9 380 Black edition

Picked all this up about 3 years ago.
Office desk + monitor setup for around $450 in Desktops ·
Thanks for getting back to me

Do you think this CPU is actually enough to handle Windows 10 smoothly without it constantly freezing up while I'm running everything I mentioned? Or should I just bite the bullet and go for a beefier processor?

Anyone got some solid recommendations for a desktop setup? Just looking for something basic for office work, running Microsoft Office, browsing the web... nothing crazy, just the essentials.
I'd really prefer something with a small footprint, ideally a horizontal case that can sit right under the monitor
Storage space isn't a big deal for me, honestly.

I also need to grab a keyboard, a mouse, and a monitor—something at least 22 inches.

Quick question though, when's the better time to shop? Like, is it smarter to buy stuff before or after Christmas?

My budget is pretty tight, $1000but hopefully it's enough to cover everything on this list.

Thanks, swiftstag2

So I ended up grabbing this mini PC, but I had to swap out the case because I really needed those ports and buttons on the front instead of tucked away on top. Makes life way easier, you know?

Hey guys, can I get some advice too?

I’m looking at picking up a rig with these kinds of specs, though I’d honestly rather go with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX if it’s more powerful and has better longevity—plus, I don't really need an SSD right now.

The main issue is that I’m planning to finance the whole thing through Chase on a six-month installment plan.

I also want to make sure there's room for future upgrades.

It doesn't have to be strictly Intel parts; I'm totally open to other brands.
