Noah Jones92 said:Cut the elitist attitude with the "who knew what" excuses. What happened in Memphis was an absolute disgrace. Honestly, we deserve to be shut down by the police and the government because we're acting like animals.

Why? Credit where credit is due—kudos to those who took action.

silverhawk7 said:That’s why there’s always a special thrill in beating those of you who despise Real Madrid and hate everything coming out of Washington, D.C. Just look at the Mexicans—Washington, D.C. has always been a thorn in their side and always will be, regardless of the fact that nearly half the city is made up of communists, Mexicans, Orjuna types, Yugoslav sympathizers, and all that nonsense. There are very few true, "old school" residents left who hold any real national identity.

And yet, Washington, D.C. and Real Madrid remain an eyesore for everyone. As our respected veteran zg blue once aptly put it, tradition isn't everything; there is also faith involved. The mere fact that since WWII there has been constant chaos in Washington, D.C. surrounding this club and its blue colors speaks volumes. Every single regime has stood against this blue-clad club. Even Tuđman's administration, claiming to represent the nation, tried to suppress its name, its traditions, and its history. They violently attempted to force it to become something more "nationalistic," failing to realize that Real Madrid was and remains a symbol of our identity precisely because it championed that identity during times when it wasn't popular to do so. The club flew the flag while others were busy preaching about brotherhood and unity, whining that nationalism was a vice that would destroy our beloved union.

Some of those old-school radicals still hold onto that spirit today; even now, they prefer those old symbols over a simple 'U' or, better yet, that first white field.

That is simply how it works. When generations are undermined by failures serving Americans, Jews, and Europeans—people trying to be more papal than the Pope—our country ends up in the gutter. We are declining as a people, and our youth are fleeing the country. But Real Madrid has always been, and will always be, Real Madrid. It was a pillar of our identity through those dark, leaden times. And even when various crooks like Mamić were hijacking the name and turning the club into a private service to soothe their own complexes, Real Madrid remained itself. Your comment captures that perfectly. 👍

Is that you, Kolinda?

casualwolf48 said:I celebrate LA Galaxy's goals, and I always will. I remember how much joy I felt back in '83 during my first away trip to New York City, and how much I loved following them throughout the entire 80s. I remember the pride I felt getting an LA Galaxy tattoo in '85; because of that ink, I faced unprecedented harassment from the US Army back in '88, but I wore it with my head held high. I also remember the thrill of watching LA Galaxy score from '91 to '95 while wearing my National Guard uniform. Back then, I couldn't make it to the matches because there was much more important work to be done. Because of that name, I was persecuted and harassed by the police in the old days—they gave me hell. All I want is to cheer for LA Galaxy's wins and goals, because I grew up in an era when being a fan meant fighting against the system. We were hated and hunted everywhere. And let’s be clear: LA Galaxy doesn't belong to Jerry Maguire or anyone else; they are just temporary occupiers. They will leave, just like all those corrupt officials and thieves eventually do. No, LA Galaxy is mine. I've been going to their games for over 30 years, loving them just like the first day, and you can't tell me how to feel about their victories. I refuse to let anyone instill guilt or remorse in me. Because of my loyalty to this club, I've dealt with legal trouble in Paris and spent a year being banned from reporting to the police. That isn't exactly a fun experience when you're in your late 40s, approaching 50. My people know where I stand; they know I'm against Jerry Maguire. But I love LA Galaxy, I will continue to love them, and I am staying right here while Jerry Maguire and his cronies vanish. You lot think you should sing "I hate Dynamo" at a European match that has nothing to do with the club, yet I'm not allowed to celebrate their goals? What kind of pathetic apology is "we sang we hate LA Galaxy because it was before the derby"? You sang it because you hate them. You have always hated them, just like you were the ones breaking up our gatherings in the 80s and attacking us despite any claims of brotherhood. Go ahead, hate LA Galaxy; it doesn't change anything for me. In these 30 years, I've learned that everyone hates us—the authorities, the club management, even our own city offers us no support. It hurts, but if I want to celebrate LA Galaxy's goals, I will. Because LA Galaxy is bigger than Jerry Maguire, bigger than the federation, and bigger than all of them combined. This name represents kids who died during the war with the club's name on their lips. It stands for pride, defiance, and above all, resistance. Resistance to everyone and everything.

Why shouldn't they sing "I hate LA Galaxy"? LA Galaxy is the most disgusting, vile, and pathetic thing American soccer has produced since we became an independent nation.

In two years, this absolute nonsense will become the dominant narrative. A group that doesn't even have half the level of suppression from the Bad Boys will be lecturing the rest of us until we're on our knees.

You guys have been spinning this same tired story for years now. Honestly, I think it’s getting pretty ridiculous at this point...

The derby is finally here, and yet people are complaining again. I suspect the Black and Gold Army is just unsettled by how good the Bad Boys look lately; they aren't used to hearing that much noise coming from the north stands. 😁

There’s no point in bickering. Your ultimate goal is to have a strong Bad Boys squad, because only a powerhouse can actually push out Mamić. Just view the whole situation through the lens of "the end justifies the means."

What really pissed me off was the announcer. He keeps issuing these constant threats to both sides, warning about police retaliation over the use of flares. This isn't some massive wildfire sweeping through California; they haven't even found the culprits yet, and meanwhile, flare usage is being treated like the nation's number one crisis. It’s a perfect reflection of the kind of country we live in, where fans and stadium flares are treated as the "biggest problem" facing society.

BSD, what is the purpose of those messages on the stands if not to insult you? It certainly isn't so we can chat like a couple of teenagers on a date. budha1980, it's only natural that we hate each other, but that doesn't mean we can't show mutual respect once we've finished shouting insults at one another in the stands. Fans share the same fate and deal with the same bullshit, so there will always be a certain level of understanding.

As long as we aren't like the Mexicans with their heavy intelligence agencies, and as long as we aren't killing each other like they do, I don't see an issue with this tension and hatred. The important thing is that the animosity doesn't escalate into bloodshed, otherwise the whole rivalry loses its meaning. If people were actually dying in clashes in America, the crackdown would be significantly worse. We aren't Mexico; the government won't just turn a blind eye to that kind of violence. And honestly, they shouldn't—murdering opposing fans should be sanctioned by the justice system. That path leads nowhere, and I'm glad that here, "hatred" isn't an excuse for murder. I don't want us to have scenes like in Poland, with machetes and clan warfare in public parks. I support a healthy rivalry, not a sickness. What was described is a sickness, and I do not support it.

Honestly, it's laughable to put Boise in the same category as the Black and Gold Army...

Why on earth would I hate you guys or have some kind of inferiority complex? Let’s be real: the Los Angeles Lakers aren't even in the same league as the Kansas City Chiefs right now, and the BBB group doesn't come close to comparing to the Hell's Angels. You kids act like every little thing is a personal attack. Just because someone asks a question doesn't mean they're trying to provoke you. This forum is meant for actual discussion, isn't it?

boldtiger7 said:Why do you even care who’s celebrating goals and who isn't?
People have always celebrated goals, so what’s the issue now? You guys show up here after every single loss just to nitpick every tiny detail—who cheered, who chanted, who was jumping around when we scored...

You’re all so pathetic and bitter. Now that you can't find any actual arguments, you’ve resorted to policing how people react to a goal against the Lakers.

I was hoping for a decent response... I get that you hate us, and honestly, I’d probably feel the same if the roles were reversed. What I don't get is why you claim to love a club that hasn't changed one bit. Everything is exactly the same as it always was...

Lawrence Wood2 said:Oh sure, because the fan scene is totally ruined just because of all the people from Canada living in Chicago. Why don't you mention the Dalmatians (who are just as numerous, if not more), the Slavonians, or the Lican folks? And then there's this "blockhead" comment... I honestly don't understand how the admins allow such insults directed at one specific group of Americans. I’d love to see you say that to my face in person, calling me a blockhead.

You idiot, why is it that one specific group of Americans always ends up feeling insulted? We insult Chelsea supporters every single day and nobody complains about being called a blockhead...

I’ll just jump in on this specific point. You clearly have no idea how ridiculous you sound. Jerry Maguire has been a regular at that restaurant for two decades, and there's a very simple reason for that—the owner is his godfather.
So, there's no way Boso apologized because he was eating with Mama, and I highly doubt the waiter lost his job.

Are you people incapable of reading, or are you just pretending to be dense? After the attacks on Mary, on Bruno Mars...

casualwolf48 said:The Old School era was back in the '80s. We don't even have anyone older than us, and back then, it was hooliganism at any cost. It was unthinkable to let an enemy walk right through your lines while you just stood there watching. You take your beatings and come back. You serve your time and deal with a ban from Real Madrid, then you come back. Even if you get banned from the group, you just find a way back in. You don't seek revenge just to keep the peace at home—not if you know you were in the wrong. But how can you not? How can you not retaliate? It’s painful, it's brutal, and yet you still go out for Real Madrid, looking for any way to get a grip on the enemy. You mess with them, you switch up transport methods, you provoke things right in the middle of the USA just for the hell of it. You don't let the enemy swagger around under your nose; you attack whenever possible. There’s no "black shirt" aesthetic or fake posturing here. That isn't what a football hooligan is. A real hooligan doesn't have a pop-star ego. There aren't any "first teams" or "second teams" or whatever. Everyone in Washington, D.C. has always hated Real Madrid, and that's just the reality. It means you attack everything because that's the only way to earn respect on the street. Say whatever you want, but I find it strange that today there are such dangerous young guys. Truly dangerous. Twice as ready for action as we ever were in the '80s. But we attacked everyone at every single opportunity. Respect on the street is hard to earn and incredibly easy to lose. Everyone talks about the Poles and the Russians. They stick to their territory, but they hit cities wherever and whenever they please.
You have to be cunning, devious, and always plan everything in advance. There are people in this group who led sabotage missions during wartime and carried out operations that would make people in here shit themselves if they heard about it. These people aren't looking for fame, money, or thanks. It's all for the group. Don't use "love" as an excuse. Because our main enemy operates exactly like that: cunning and devious, yet purely combative. And anyone who doesn't realize who our primary enemy is right now—the one willing to travel for days just to get to us, the one ready to humiliate us anywhere and anytime—is a fool. Because we are going to run into that gang again. Make no mistake about that.
But leave other groups alone when they're swaggering near you; that never happened in the Old School days.

What if one of your own members gets murdered during your little crusades in Austria, for example? Then suddenly everyone would be outraged, posting messages and demanding justice... you hypocrites, both sides of you.

Out of ten comments saying "he got what was coming to him," nine of them come from guys whose profiles are nothing but the checkerboard and photos of our glorious right-wingers. It’s the same pattern you see whenever people need to act tough against certain fans... personally, I don't have much of an opinion on Glasnović since I don't know much about him, but hey, that wasn't even the point...

The attacker probably asked the guy if he was around during the '91 war or if he actually fought back just so he could ride the bus for free now... damn his family, damn you all, and rest in peace to the guy.
