That’s what it says right there in the thread. I can't believe you didn't read the whole thing from the top... 😢

Is this happening this Saturday? When does Leatherface start?

He clearly forgot the name of the festival he actually played 🙏 🙏 🙏 the punk rockers are taking way too much acid 🙏 🙏 🙏

I suppose some people will be spared my beer-fueled stories after all 😠
forever 😠
... AND ANOTHER THING!!!! .... 🧐

No, my point was that she showed up to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival without a car and now she's complaining about the ride. When I used to take the train out to Chicago to actually live a decent life, or head down to Miami for a music festival, I’d hike four or five miles uphill carrying my tent and all my gear. Not once did it cross my mind to whine that the organizers didn't provide a free, non-crowded shuttle 🤣
I have to drive myself to work every single day, and when I go to a concert at Madison Square Garden, nobody shows up with a bus to pick me up 😢 bullshit 😢
What does it matter whether you live in NYC or not? And besides, I never actually said you lived in New York...
What on earth was going on with those circle pies?
Sure, but just so you can see how much 😁

Michelle Mitchell17 said:Subtract points for transportation. Two shuttles weren't nearly enough when people were heading to the shows. On Tuesday, we were waiting for the bus at the entrance to the park. One bus didn't even stop because it was absolutely packed. The second one did stop, but I'd say there were at least 100 people already inside. We should have gotten off before reaching the campsite; the bus stopped, but nobody got off because there wasn't an inch of space left. Meanwhile, those of us who actually needed to get off were crushed like sardines : mad: so we ended up taking the next one and just walking back to the camp anyway.

I guess I was wrong. Someone managed to screw things up for everyone else by complaining about the lack of free shuttles 🙏 🙏 🙏 and acting indignant because they had to walk at a festival they originally hiked to 🙏 🙏 🙏
Is this everyone's first time ever attending a festival, or what? 😢

Professional photographers handle the high-end shots anyway, and I have no intention of fighting them—nor could I compete with their quality from the crowd—but it’s nice to be allowed to bring an SLR to document a good time with friends. Three years ago, they were snatching memory cards from digital amateurs, so this feels like a major step forward in civilization.
Second, the $5.00 beer and the food ranging from $?-$12 (even at $35 for a fairly generous portion of those Chinese delicacies) are very reasonably priced, which I appreciate. I ate and drank my fill.
Third, there was plenty of everything, from currency exchange booths to seating areas and even restrooms.
Given how problematic the first and third points used to be, I’d say the organizers are actually learning and evolving, which sometimes matters more than the lineup itself.
As for the festival: we can complain about the artist selection, the corporate sponsors, the schedule, and whatever else we want, but it’s great to have something like this within reach of The Daily Californian ☕
Despite all the whining about not getting free plastic ponchos, nobody bothered to mention the free shuttle service around the park. The organizers weren't even obligated to provide it, yet they did. It was a nice gesture, even if it came from Hitler.
Adam Moore said:My biggest regret from day two, even bigger than the Caribou set. Why on earth did they tuck that stall so far away that I didn't find it until after I was already starving? WHY?!?!?!?! 😢
There was a guy from China at $12 near the first kiosk between the main stage and the second stage 🤷

I managed to bring 6 of those, which is nearly 10% 🙂
urbannomad30 said:Who are they?
They were one great band back when they played Lollapalooza, but they're probably a bit too sophisticated for your taste...😁
I've been into Radiohead since they were just kids starting out...😳
redgull44 said:Man, honestly, having the kids' stage tucked away so far back was a blessing. You barely had to deal with them, which meant you could actually focus on the music without the distraction!!!
Dammit, I'll know when I'm finally grown up enough to start listening to New Young Pony Club and Tyler Howard46😁...
Give people a scrap of cellophane and they'll still be thanking you five years later. Sheep are more than ready to be sheared by the corporations... 🙏 🙏 🙏
feraltrucker5 said:Don't give me that crap—as if you would have preferred being there instead of at ris against!?😲 🙂
Rise Against absolutely crushed it. 🙏 🙏 👍 High energy from the band, a wild crowd, and a massive circle pit right in the middle of the mud. 🙂 :pank:
Of course I’d rather be at LCD Soundsystem. I caught the first three songs of Rise Against and bailed. When you've been listening to punk for more than a year, you learn how to spot garbage within three tracks... 🙂 Should I go ahead and grab the "Siren Song of the Counter Culture" CD?🙂

The sheer incompetence shown by organizers when it comes to preparing for basic weather at Open Air festivals is the ultimate form of amateurism.
Everyone knew it was going to rain ten days ago. Yet they acted surprised, like they'd never seen a cloud in their lives. Complete amateurs...
And then they have the nerve to hand out two ponchos to a group of three. 🤦
If you knew the rain was coming, why on earth didn't you just buy your own poncho? 🤷 What exactly are the organizers expected to provide—rubber boots, windbreakers, wool scarves, and thick socks for every attendee if a north wind picks up? 🙏 🙏 🙏
LCD Soundsystem was great, but everything else was garbage. If only Flogging Molly had played yesterday, I wouldn't have to drag myself back there today...🤮
Alright, I'm heading out too, so I'll just ask once I'm standing out front
