I caught them back in Milan during the "Glitter and Doom" tour—theater setting, orchestra pit, eighth row... ☕ It was actually pretty decent. ☕ Just a small thing, tickets were about 150 bucks. 😁
I mean, I highly doubt you'll actually catch Dead Kennedys. From what I know, that reformed disgrace hasn't played a note without Biafra in ages... (CORRECTION: just saw they're playing again, with some newer singer... what a total karaoke joke 🙏). Were you at that Jello Biafra show at The Fillmore last year? I think that was about as close as you could get to seeing the Kennedys...
Yeah, most of his stuff is overpriced, but $22 for a deluxe disc with the booklet and all those extras... it’s not bad. No matter where you order it from, you're looking at $10–$12, which is pretty standard, though you still have to deal with waiting a week, two weeks, maybe even five before it actually shows up... assuming this is even the version with the bonus singles?
Seriously, people, just go grab "Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts." It isn't expensive, and honestly, it's easily the best punk record from '77 out there. 😢
(Or at least pick up one of the three, alongside "Damned Damned Damned" and "The Scream").
GOOD RIDDANCE "a comprehensive guide...", used condition but plays perfectly with zero damage. It’s even signed by the bassist if anyone cares... say $70? RISE AGAINST "siren song...", brand new, also $70. AGNOSTIC FRONT "something's gotta give", used, a bit scuffed up, maybe $40 if you're feeling generous.
