Everyone will show up eventually; there’s no need to resort to those punk rock dogmas. These scenes are built from the ground up, not manufactured by some central authority!👍
Man, I’m heading out to Indianapolis this weekend early because of Easter, and then again the following weekend for a birthday and May Day... But this sounds interesting. Plus, The Beatles are great friends of mine that I haven't managed to catch live yet. It feels like the right move to support the scene and that high-energy organizing duo... 🙂
I've got a decent amount of stuff here, while Nicholas Perez33 has the rest. Everything is packed in boxes right now, though, so once the move is over and I actually find the motivation to dig through it all... maybe then!

*Cough.* Like I said, my parents and I took a total clunker straight from Indianapolis to the Ocean. 🙂
1. Frank Sinatra - That Old Feeling 2. Nirvana - I Live for That Look 3. Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros - Mondo Bongo 4. X - Dancing with Tears in My Eyes 5. Tom Waits - Tango 'til They're Sore
Fine, I'll just wait until Jason Chavez32 tears him a new one, then I'll get to cleaning this up. Jason Chavez32 actually has a sense of style when it comes to these things; I'm sure it'll be worth the wait... 🙂
I honestly can't get into this Japanese stuff lately; I've been in too much of a pop mood recently... Though, I have to admit, Accidents Fit perfectly, even if they are total posers. They sound more like something out of Europe—maybe Denmark or the Netherlands. Just a nasty bunch of nations... 😬

Honestly, I wish my taste wasn't quite as unrefined as yours... feel free to leave them out when you're putting together that compilation for your sweetheart. I won't hold a grudge.
brightridge19 is completely missing the mark here... Edwyn Collins is an optimist, and the Foo Fighters are too... They don't have that greasy, superficial vibe. As for my colleague who brought up "Miss You" by The Rolling Stones—that's one of the coolest tracks ever recorded... and it has absolutely nothing to do with Valentine's Day, romance, kittens, or any of that fluff... "Miss You" is about decadence, sex, and a heavy high; it's a whole different scene, a different wavelength entirely... 🙂
