Well, after getting a little refresher course from you, I’m feeling slightly more benevolent toward them. I suppose I just need to let myself get drunk at Spanko, ask "What even is this?! Out of the ten bands David swears by, I’ve only ever heard one... 😁

The band was actually great—honestly, damn. They were way better than the last time I caught them live. Aside from the insane luck of having a guitar string snap twice, which forced them to cut the set short and stumble through some terrible jokes, they played really well. I’m actually about to make some toast and put on their CD (they gave me a copy three months ago, but I still haven't gotten around to listening to 😳).

After the show, I hung out backstage helping TDWB move some gear—mostly because I was bored and everyone had already cleared out, just looking for a little bit of affection 😳—and the Swedes were there too. As they were leaving, I told them, "You were awful." They just laughed, so I doubled down: "No, seriously!" Hopefully, I managed to break their little emo hearts...

I had a dream last night that one of my cells warped, and another split right down the middle. 😂
