The logic is simple: you start with wine to warm up the mood, spark some social energy, loosen your tongue, and hopefully kill off that awkward anxiety when talking to women. But once things get moving, you switch over to beer. Beer is a lighter hitter; it keeps you upright enough to make it through the night until 4 AM, whereas if you kept pounding wine, you’d be completely wiped out by midnight. 🙂

I’m fairly certain I’ve spent about 90% of my life mixing red wine with beer... 😬

You can mix beer and wormwood together—it’s what they call an ivanovac Sunrise. It’s absolutely revolting if you actually try to drink it, but at least it looks nice and is named after krivakov... 😍
Melissa Sanchez37 The user said:And one more thing... regarding that song "Mangup," specifically when Lidija Asanović sings:
"Because you're a crook, a total con artist... you don't want a kid like me."
The poet is trying to say one of two things: either you don't want a child at all, just like I don't... or you simply don't want one with me. 🙂
David Sullivan4 said:I walk away feeling like they spent way more time on the top-tier production than actually writing the songs. They’re just... I don't know... dull. It's the same issue I have with Anahata. Even with argument—it isn't bad, but again, the production carries it more than the songwriting itself...
Men, that was the exact same deal with Lizard's "Blue," but honestly, "Argument" is perfection in every sense...
Look, I’m telling you this because I finally heard a Gang of Four track at The Fillmore the other night that wasn't "Damaged Goods." I seem to remember most of their other stuff being total garbage, but to paraphrase the poet, I can't quite recall The Fillmore. 😬
5. Three AC units 4. A family computer for the living room 3. A dishwasher 2. An orange juicer 1. Hallway lights with motion sensors
The top 5 downsides of the new apartment:
5. The view from the dining area and living room looks straight at a SpaceX rocket launch site 4. A mattress that's too soft on a bed that's too short in my bedroom 3. Living room curtains made out of some cheap fabric used for women's underwear 2. Paper-thin walls between rooms—any loud sex results in everyone apologizing to each other... 1. Cheap carpentry that almost killed us during that recent windstorm

That damn Audiobook Narrator just killed off the best thread on this entire sub. I’m waiting for someone—anyone—who actually gives a damn about the garbage bands Jack was listening to last week, just so I can see if anyone out there actually cares. 😛
It’s actually a law of nature. Yesterday, Pritt and I independently reached the exact same conclusion: the entire concert sounded like the intro to a U2 track. Meanwhile, Moose—completely oblivious to our thoughts—decided the whole thing sounded more like the kraj of a U2 song. 🤣
The band was absolute garbage, obviously, but the night was alright. I flexed my sarcasm muscles, yelled at them to play some Djubrivo, and got properly hammered. Honestly, what more can you ask for... 🙂
