1. Guinness + Glenfiddich
That’s pricey, though. For something more budget-friendly for an American wallet: a Miller High Life mixed with just a splash of Amaretto... It’s a rough way to start the evening, but it looks decent enough, and there's something to be said for having a drink named after a small town near Indianapolis where the food and drinks were always top-tier. 🙂
Honestly, whenever I catch a whiff of Jack, I know I’ve finally made it... 🙂
My top 3 dreams from the last three months:
1. That one where I slept way past Sleepy Hollow and dreamed I was having a blast down there with Buddy and Attached 2. The one where I was commuting by train from Indianapolis to work, dreaming I was actually heading to the coast (waking up was pure misery) 3. The one where I met Alex Rogers91 and just couldn't stop laughing at his glasses
60 available in pre-sale (which will probably wrap up any minute now), and 80 currently on the radar. (Though, for some reason, the poster claims it's 80/100)
Typical... So, who’s actually showing up? Is this even going to have any punk energy? I’m starting to wonder if I made a massive mistake buying a ticket or if it'll actually be worth it. It feels like an inside bet on how many Templeton fans show up to the Phantom set... anyway.
Also, if anyone wants to come out and show some love to the Mainstream crowd, you can catch the concert or just hit me up for a drink around 6 or 7. (Only the cool people, please).
Honestly, it was pretty great—even that massive deep dive into hip-hop history I stumbled upon on some random site. The first thing that jumped out at me? "Crack cocaine." 😁
And then there was that Reagan biography, where you could actually see the stars and stripes reflected in his glasses on the cover.
I picked up Mataković’s "Desmozgenes 2," and they actually threw in a book of poetry as a freebie. 😵 Yaraan grabbed the Mataković title but turned down the poetry because he "studied literature and hates books." 🙏 🙏 🙏
The top three books I spotted at the book fair:
3. Mark Markovic: "George and Boban - History of Black Legion" 2. Dinko Šakić: "With Leader to the Alps" 1. Peter Janjić-Tromblon: "Thirst for Blood - Hunger for Betrayal"
We were cracking up at the first two booths. But at the third one? We didn't even dare approach... the guy looked like he might pull a bomb out from under the counter and take us all out right then and there. 😳
Anyway, when are we actually heading out there tomorrow? I know I've been ghosting the chat, but sending SMS messages costs money, and trying to open a private message window eats up way too much processing power (damn this ancient relic I'm stuck working on 🙄).
If you're actually looking to get hit on by some creeps, just wander around there for a bit and I guarantee you'll run right into Jaran and/or Dinsdejl. Honestly, both of them are the absolute textbook definition of guys who target women... 😁

And let's be real, even on this forum, there are cliques and people who love or hate each other just like in the real world, whether they admit it or not...
Look, the issue with picking fights on forums is that one insult usually triggers three counter-insults, and before you know it, a few hours later, the whole thing devolves into the most depraved gutter talk about families, religion, Jonestown, and Stalingrad. It's stuff that I—and most people here—simply can't stomach watching. I honestly wish I had archived one of those old Starbucks punk debates from back when things weren't moderated; if you read them, you'd understand why a certain level of censorship or repression is necessary...
As far as liking or disliking people on this board goes, you, Titanic, and Your Mother are all absolute legends. But if any of you take things too far, I'm going to step in, damn it.
