copperraven53 said:So I tried doing this survey a few times in a row, but every single time it just spits back an ''invalid code'' message at the end and wipes all my answers. Super helpful, I guess.🤷
honestly, I have no clue, my code worked perfectly on the first try for me... 🤷
Every time you fill out this survey, we’re donating $1 to Debra, an organization supporting kids living with epidermolysis bullosa...
We really appreciate you taking a second to spare your time and that single dollar by hitting submit. All those funds go straight to "Debra," an association dedicated to helping people battling epidermolysis bullosa—basically, they focus on bringing people together to organize support for those facing rare diseases. It's all about raising awareness and building a community of folks who actually want to step up and help out, hopefully making things a little brighter during the holidays...
So, if you're feeling it, come hang out with us this Saturday, December 17th. No pressure or anything, but we'll be hanging around Grand Central Terminal in Washington, D.C., just looking to get a good group together and have some fun... you can also fill out the survey while you're there.
Important: To make sure that donation actually goes through to the email address you provided, you’ll get a confirmation email sent your way, and you absolutely have to click the LINK inside, otherwise the donation won't happen...
Emily Barrett4 said:Basically, you haven't actually watched much of his stuff lately. The American Burn After Reading Michael Clayton Syriana O Brother, Where Art Thou? Three Kings Out of Sight
He’s got some solid roles.
This is getting pretty off topic, but I actually watched a bunch of them and honestly only liked him in O Brother... (Is it just me, am I crazy?) And if seven movies doesn't count for anything, then fine...
I've binged basically all those Ocean movies... an endless loop, really... 🙄Between Divorce, Temptation (or was it the other way around?), From Dusk Till Dawn, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit 🙄—plus not even the whole movie, just that one with JLo and Peacemaker.
Out of all of them, George was my favorite in Who Framed Roger Rabbit... (though it’s hard to miss the mark when you're working with the Coen brothers, I guess)...
But honestly, I have zero clue what kind of role he’d actually fit because he just doesn't have that certain charisma OR maybe I just don't vibe with it. Nothing personal, though. 🤣 I’d probably throw Brad Pitt into that same bucket. *********** And yeah, that little girl who played the College student—Keener? 🤣 I just realized I recognized her from playing a high schooler in Twilight. So that's why she looked familiar.
But honestly, I am officially done trusting IMDb ever again because they totally screwed me over when I went to see Crazy, Stupid, Love and it turned out to be completely stupid... ****** As for this movie, Up in the Air... yeah, nothing really, just a flat line for me.
I haven't seen a ton of movies with Clooney, but I've actually realized he's just a mediocre actor... He just doesn't have any charisma at all, and every single one of his roles feels like the exact same mold, whether he's playing the heartthrob, the businessman, the mobster, or the husband... it's all just so blah to me.
The plot itself might have had some potential, I guess, but there were just way too many issues with the casting 🙄 Like this guy, the husband... you wouldn't even hire him to be an extra!
And the sister and the other sister, the College girl... just some random no-name actresses 😕 That College girl and that whole crying scene when her boyfriend leaves her... probably one of the worst displays of fake crying I've ever seen... 🤷
But I see some people here think it's fantastic...
swiftfalcon43 said:And why on earth are all the Decepticons massive compared to the Autobots? Plus, the good guys just treat them like some cheap baby toy. Anyway, I saw two movies featuring Shia LaBeouf on TV yesterday.
Caught a screening last night... and honestly, I’m feeling pretty much the same way as most of you guys... I mean, the setup and the middle part were decent enough, the acting held up, and even Megan wasn't totally grating... but those fight scenes at the end just dragged on forever and felt way too rushed...
Also, a few things still feel a bit fuzzy to me, like, where did that whole mess in Qatar come from, and why was there that big brawl with the military involving that weirdly low-budget looking Transformer? plus, when that little Franjo Harmon 🙂 type shows up in an Air Force One police car at the start, and then the lead guy from Sector 7 is there...? and then his consciousness somehow gets projected into one of those Transformer jets...? 😕 Did I seriously miss something, or is this movie just...
Thanks! I tried calling, but they’re fully booked through July if you're using an insurance referral, and apparently, they're moving locations too... I did find a few other places like Pfizer and UnitedHealth Group, so I'll give them a ring and see if they might take my referral...
Has anyone in New York City ever gone private for a carotid Doppler scan because of some neurological issues? I’m basically hunting for a clinic where the price tag isn't absolutely insane for that kind of thing...
Or maybe if someone knows a hospital that doesn't have a massive backlog where you end up waiting for months on end... (I tried booking through the Mayo Clinic - Central Park, but they told me I'd be waiting until October...)
Has anyone in New York City ever gone to this specific screening privately? I’m basically hunting for a clinic that won't completely drain my bank account...
Anyone know if there's a decent spot in New York City that does custom mug printing or maybe those photo puzzles... like, I need somewhere where the quality actually holds up and isn't just some cheap, blurry mess once you get it home...
Yeah, okay, I get it, diabetics have their own set of issues... but what I was actually getting at were more like food allergies.... you know, stuff like almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, and things like that.😳
Sorry to barge in out of nowhere, but I just had to ask... Do you guys actually double-check what goes into these cakes? Like, if there’s someone with an allergy in the room, do you give them a heads-up about the ingredients before they dig in? 😬
Found this on a health forum, some cybermed site... "I've got a trip coming up early next year, and honestly, having my period during it would be a total nightmare. Based on how things are looking, it’s scheduled to hit right when I'm away. I don't take birth control pills or use anything else like an IUD or whatever. Can anyone give me some advice on how to trigger it to show up a few days early, or maybe just push it back a bit so it doesn't start until after I'm home?"
Prof. Dr. Josip Djelmiš
"Dear lady, If you want to delay your period, here is what you can do: starting a few days before you expect it to begin, you can start taking 10 mg Norethindrone tablets once a day. Just keep taking them for those extra days you need while you're traveling. "
Well, that's exactly what I need, so I'm heading to my OBGYN tomorrow to get it sorted...
Wait, did I hear that right? Does soaking in a hot tub or a heated pool actually "speed up" your period or just delay it? I’ve heard people say it’s something about dilating the vessels... but honestly, I have no clue if there's any truth to that...
And what about those old-school natural remedies, like certain teas or whatever?
The thing is, I’m heading down to Miami, and my "monthly visitor" is planning to show up exactly on that date... I really don't want to deal with tampons because they're just such a hassle, and I know I won't be able to avoid them the whole time anyway, but I'd give anything if I could at least get a break for half the trip...
