Waking up from the biggest dream the universe has ever seen. You just... wake up.
Himself, Him... doesn't really matter. 🙂 As long as there's an ego, once that's gone... there's Him.
Btw, I wrote the whole thing, but you only quoted a part. 🙂

Being "without a story about yourself" is just our natural human state, I guess.

People who have truly encountered Reality, as you put it, might seem rare, but I think there are actually more than you’d expect. There are even some right here on this forum.
Just keep in mind that encountering Reality—truly realizing who you are and living in that fullness of being—isn't just some sudden "click." It's a very, very long path. So, there are definitely people out there who have opened those doors, regardless of which "step" they're currently on.
The truth is simple. It's incredibly simple and massive, and it's right under your nose—I'd almost say it's right inside your nose 🙂!
Maybe just ask yourself what St. Francis meant when he said, "the place from which you seek is the place you are seeking from," or what Jesus meant when He said, "the kingdom of heaven is within you."
Or, you could just be more direct and ask, "Who am I?" I guess anyone who puts all their cards on the table for that question is truly blessed.

Yeah, it's subjective and totally unfounded based on actual experience—it's more about being programmed and conditioned (which I guess is what you're calling accumulation).

I guess the only real reason is that people just don't trust their own experiences. It doesn't even matter what they try to prove; they'll just keep doing it because they believe the programming more than what they've actually lived through. That's really where all the problems start, I think.

Every single one of the 7.5 billion people on this planet shares just one experience: time doesn't actually exist. It’s the only thing that’s truly real, simply because it is.
The real issue, I guess, is that people tend to trust their programming and all those old conditions instead of just trusting what they actually feel.
I mean, go ahead and ask anyone anywhere—try to get them to point their finger at the past or the future. They can't.

Yeah, just like how you keep insisting that time doesn't exist, even though I never actually said it did. I mean, the whole idea that the only thing that exists is "now" kind of clashes with the very concept of time itself, I guess. 🙂

btw, time isn't even a thing.

I can't, honestly. You're trying way too hard to make this complicated when it's actually super simple.
Time exists right NOW, whether you call it a moment or whatever. Words are just limits, I guess—they kind of push that whole dualism thing on us. But if you're willing to look at it and really get it, you'll understand what I mean. 🙂

Michael Gonzalez77 said:For most people, talking about the "present moment" is just a fancy cliché, no matter how much they try to make it sound deep.

Actually, I guess it’s not a cliché at all. It’s really the only time that actually exists.

Yeah, I guess that's true. Honestly, that might be the only real problem in the world.

Who cares if you catch a glimpse of a mic or some background set piece for a few seconds? It really doesn't matter for a movie like this—or honestly, for any film that dances on that line between cinema and stage performance.

btw, I didn't even notice the microphone everyone's talking about, probably because I wasn't looking for it... my brain was way too busy with much more important stuff. 🙄

That's gotta be a different movie...my copy doesn't have a plot like that...😲

Arthur Garcia59 said:1. Luckily, I was at Carnegie Hall right before that, and it was honestly one of the top 5 best things I've ever seen, so my whole day didn't turn out to be such a total wash.

I totally disagree with you, like, 100%, but hey, it's fine! Just tell me—if it isn't a secret—what exactly happened at Carnegie Hall? You know, that "top 5 best things" you mentioned?

quietdriver3 said:The whole thing kind of reminds me of Mulholland Drive—everything feels pretty normal right up until a certain point, and then—after that massive twist—it just goes totally insane. I guess that sudden shift is actually its biggest flaw. It suffers from the same issue as The Shining—there’s just no gradual build-up of madness, you know? There aren't really any smooth transitions in how the characters act. It's just straight-up chaos.

I think it might just be down to personal taste. For me, I felt that sense of madness right from the start; I was just waiting for the moment it would escalate into full-blown insanity... and it definitely didn't disappoint! 🙂
That dialogue near the end where they finally stumble upon the "Conspiracy" solution is just awesome.

Absolutely phenomenal movie. The directing and acting were just spot on... honestly, this was such a huge surprise coming out of Hollywood. I haven't checked the official reviews yet, but I guess this is one of those films that stays with you for a lifetime.
