Alex Rogers91 said:You seriously aren't going to see Exploited...?! I told you the usual crap about how you wouldn't go, then tomorrow you'll be texting me saying it was legendary, sliding around in the vomit and all that...

Regarding the text, I was wasted and just woke up.

Exploited? Thanks.

This sounds like some guy rambling with punk rockers after a show, acting like anyone asked you:

"I hope you finally realize that punk is dead and you're a lost cause. Just like the hippies were at the end of the seventies. At least sister Aleksic has a good rack..."

😬

There are times when twisted logic just doesn't apply.

It's not my fault she listens to Bob Dylan.

If you're actually planning on spreading lies and misinforming the public, just quit and go work for CNN, Fox News, or Burda. I’m just sitting here in the front row watching it all unfold. Over & out. And that goes for my colleague from the Midwest, too...

It’s evident from my previous posts, but I need to publicly give a shout-out to coastalpanther11 for a smooth ride out there. Honestly, if Senna or Russell were around, they could have learned a thing or two from him. All good on my end. Respect to the big guy...

David Sullivan4: do you have vinyls?

coastalpanther11 said:I just wanted to get the drunks out of the car ASAP. You know how it goes—one person throws up and it triggers a chain reaction, and professional detailing isn't cheap...

If you're going to be nitpicky about it, I only vomit in Spanko. Excuse me. My aunt is from Chicago and she doesn't throw up, does she?

My aunt and I sent the exact same text at the same time this morning: "What a disaster last night."

Peace, David Sullivan4

Kevin Chavez3 said:I was explaining to my buddy Jaran how he’s nothing more than a pathetic worm for failing to grasp the divine dimension by going to an Exploited show. 🙂 🙂

I'll think about it. Maybe I'll show up...

Is it better to have a soda or just stay sober if I want to avoid a punk reaction where people start doing some frantic line dance on my chest? 🙂

coastalpanther11 said:This is the second time in a row I’ve had to pull over on the interstate just so people could go vomit. Only last night the fog was thick as hell. Give me a break. Either bring a bag for it, or just drive an indie Renault Ultima (like a Naked Raygun or Shellac of North America version)...

If only they actually puked this time.

Back to the topic, this is phenomenal:

Honestly, I don't even have the patience for the opening acts.

If I go to a show, I know exactly how it ends. Not interested, because I'll just be hungover on cheap wine the next day. And I actually have to get up in the morning...

Kevin Chavez3 said:Man, you coming over before Plojted? Unfortunately, I don't have any Jadro napolitanka left to offer, but we can drink instead. 🙂

Jaro, thanks, but I've lost my sense of humor and self-deprecation lately, so I'm skipping Plojted... 😁

Got a little too carried away drinking last night, so tonight is for rehab.

Let's just stay straight edged.

Woo-hoo!

If I nailed Matt Skugor to a closet door, he wouldn't be a superhero... he'd be the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Woohoo!

That whole singing and making out vibe was totally hippie-ish, but since Big Safe was conducting, I felt a little less awkward about it.

In my head, I kept adding Brendan, Joe, and Guy to whatever The Evens were playing, so the whole thing just felt like a tiny private Fugazi set... 🙂

Beautiful concert.

Woohoo!

Look, if I go to an Exploited show, I can even hang out at a Starbucks without feeling awkward. Wrong, you actually going to take me to a concert or what?

rapidangler67 said:Buba mentioned The Evens concert will most likely stay at the Knockdown Center, so I suggest you guys grab tickets now.

Buba just said:

I just spoke with Ian and we decided that if enough reservations come in for the first show, we'll add a second date at the Knockdown Center. The first one starts at 8:30 sharp.
Please get your tickets ASAP, by 8:00 at the latest, okay?
Good luck—
