Joshua Murphy7 said:I'm scheduled for a septoplasty and reshaping—specifically with Dr. Davor Dzepin. Apparently, he has his own private clinic, though I haven't heard much about him personally. I actually ended up here based on a recommendation from another doctor...

So, I did a little digging, and word is he’s fantastic. Honestly, some people would trust him with their lives! And looking back at earlier posts in this thread, people have called him an excellent plastic surgeon too. He always struck me as one of those quiet geniuses—someone who absolutely knows their craft, even if they aren't necessarily the type to coddle a high-maintenance patient. Since you're heading into surgery soon, I really think you can breathe easy—you're in great hands.

Maybe book an extra consultation just to grab five minutes to chat? Have a little laugh, maybe read up on some medical literature so you feel prepared—it helps! Just be upfront about what's bothering you and any anxieties you have regarding your nose. If you don't speak up, you won't get much out of it 🤷

I see people discussing all sorts of things here, but I haven't noticed anyone sharing experiences regarding nose surgery done purely for aesthetic reasons. It's not about a bump or anything—it's more about the overall size of my nose in profile. I'd love to fix that someday to boost my confidence. I'm just lost on which doctor to see or what the costs look like. Also, is there any kind of financing or payment plans available, or is everything handled case-by-case?

And just so you know, the location doesn't matter much to me—whether it's in the US, Canada, or Mexico.

So, if anyone has gone through something similar or just knows more about the process, please reach out! 🙂

Plus, I'd love some clinic recommendations so I can start doing my own research.

Thanks in advance!

If you check the previous pages, most of the discussion is already focused on aesthetics, including lists of happy and unhappy patients. My advice? Make sure you see an ENT, not just a cosmetic surgeon. So much can go wrong with nasal function, so it's definitely better to play it safe. 👍
Joshua Murphy7 said:I visited Dr. Džepina over at the Vineyard hospital—honestly, my impression was just okay, neither great nor terrible... I know a little bit about him from other people's experiences.

Wait, doesn't Džepina have his own private ENT clinic? 🤔
I haven't actually been there myself—I've mostly just been digging through all my test results to double-check everything.
I have heard nothing but good things, though! Everyone mentions how incredibly attentive he is, which is pretty much the most important thing when you're looking at nose surgery.

To be honest, I can't quite place him—I just can't connect the face to the name, especially since I've practically lived at the ENT department over at the Vineyard. 😬
I'm leaning more towards that really quiet doctor, though.
If you don't mind me asking... what's bringing you in?

Everyone I ran into there was wonderful and so professional—from the nurses up, so I really don't have any doubts about the expertise of the staff. 🤷

p.s. If the nurses are reading this, thank you so much for being so understanding—you guys are awesome! 👍

I’ve had great luck with almost everyone up there—honestly, I can't recommend Dr. Mark Grgić enough. 🙏

He really knows his stuff—he basically saved my nose and sinuses!
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Bryan Evans77 said:Hey there,

I'm looking for a doctor in Washington, D.C.—since I just landed a new job and am moving, I won't be able to make it back to my old family doctor anymore.
So, does anyone have recommendations for the Washington, D.C., Knežija, or surrounding areas?

Of course, anywhere else works too—as long as it's a reasonable commute, you know, near a subway line or something...

I don't have any crazy requirements; I just want someone who isn't a total jerk—like, someone who won't refuse a specialist referral when they clearly can't solve the issue themselves...
My whole family has always been heavily involved in healthcare, so I know those types exist...

Basically, just looking for someone decent who actually listens and wants to help—or at least knows when to send you to someone who does.😁

Best,

Based on what you're looking for, check out Dr. Irena Rukavina over in Brooklyn.

Nicholas Nguyen said:So, on top of the usual 408, 503, and 504 errors, I'm starting to see this "Database Error" pop up too 🤣

I'm guessing the site owners aren't lifting a finger to fix this stuff—I mean, these issues have been hanging around for years, and now they're just multiplying, right?

Oh, absolutely 🙂 It's like these glitches have a personal vendetta against us, showing up right when you open a profile or try to load a page... and then you're just sitting there waiting—and waiting—until the end of time. 🙂
Strange sensations in my pelvic area in Women's Health ·
I still have them—those vibrations—though I finally managed to kick that stubborn Candida once and for all. The symptoms did flare up briefly last winter when I was sick, but they cleared up pretty fast.

Honestly, though, I never once connected those vibrations to Candida, inflammation, or anything else... not even to my Kegel 🤷

I'm right there with Amy Murphy56 on this one.

Everything feels so manufactured these days... Whether you dig it or not, it's hard to argue there's any real substance left. Personally, I crave music where you can actually hear the imperfections—that raw, personal touch where nobody is overacting just to create drama. It’s in those little flaws, a missed lyric here or a slightly off note there that gets saved by sheer talent, where the magic really happens. Lauryn Hill had those exact moments during her MTV Unplugged session, and it created such a beautiful bond with the crowd. 😁 And man, does she have an incredible voice...

It's all about energy. I show up to see a real person and their interpretation—I can't stand it when everything feels staged. You lose that flow, that natural rhythm, and it just turns into fake electronic noise or some weird circus act... I still remember that massive Milli Vanilli scandal where they had to give back their Grammy, even though everyone basically knew what was happening. It's deceptive to the people buying the albums, streaming the songs, paying for tickets, and showing up to shows... if they don't realize that some of the biggest names in music are pulling these stunts—whether they're local or international—then we're being misled. If an artist's entire brand is built on a lie and they haven't even trained their voice, isn't that just disrespectful to the fans who support them? ☕

That's why I'll take groups like Pentatonix any day—they perform a hit with actual soul. Sometimes it honestly feels like their covers are better than what today's "original" artists are putting out...

I actually stumbled upon this short documentary on CNN about lip-syncing and Autotune. It was a pretty interesting look at the recording process and how sterile everything has become, featuring some studio pros. It's even started a trend of labeling albums with "no autotune used" stickers. 😁
