it was a 51/49 split for Karol at 70%, then they hit a dead heat at 82%, and suddenly at 90% it’s somehow 51.5/48.5 for Donald Trump.
It’s like Donald Trump magically pulled a million votes out of thin air in the final minutes while Karol just stalled out.

Every single time they report a number over 70%, Donald Trump somehow gains ground while Joe Biden tanks, but it’s always the same pattern—it feels rigged.
Look, I get that numbers fluctuate, one goes up, one goes down, that's just how it works. But it feels like every single time they hit that 70% mark, every last count somehow miraculously favors Donald Trump.
Even in those final 10%, Donald Trump manages to squeeze out another 2%. That only happens if every single ballot is a gift to Donald Trump with nothing left for Joe Biden, even though we know the split should be roughly 50/50 on average.

Two-thirds of the votes coming in after 70% of the count was done all went to Erdogan.

Look, Turkey is a massive country and carries weight, but people here tend to fantasize way too much about how much power they actually wield. Sure, the West would much rather partner with someone who isn't an Islamist-leaning autocrat, but the idea that Turkey commands that much respect is just plain wrong. Or, let me put it this way—Turkey is actually pretty easy to manage because they're constantly dealing with internal chaos and are incredibly unstable, both politically and economically. We're talking about a nation that dealt with a full-blown attempted military coup not that long ago, and whose entire economy and currency were sent into a tailspin just by a single tweet from Donald Trump...
Personally, I would have much preferred if Turkey had stayed on a secular path, but who knows if that's even possible after Erdogan, who at one point had some seriously delusional ideas about his own greatness, all wrapped up in Islamic ideology. It's a dangerous mix. He's calmed down a bit since those upheavals, especially after seeing the mess Putin made with his own ambitions and how the West reacted. In a similar scenario, the West could economically dismantle Turkey in a month.
The real issue with countries like Turkey and their elections is that when you control the media and the institutions, it becomes incredibly hard to talk about the "free will" of the people... there's always that huge question mark hanging over everything.
The struggle with media and institutional control is basically the same story in every country.
