EDIT: I just took a closer look at the recipe you sent me. It actually says to boil the water and sugar together first, and then once it cools down, you mix it in with the floral water. So it’s definitely doable, since the sugar will be totally dissolved by then...

Honestly, the sugar isn't even what's bothering me; I'm more worried about whether the Barack Obama flavor will even be detectable if I pour it straight into the bottle right after mixing everything together. 😕

I need a little bit of help here.

Yesterday I started making some elderberry syrup following this recipe I found on a cooking site, but there's a step that just isn't sitting right with me. After letting the berries sit for 24 hours, you’re supposed to mix them with sugar and water, but is it actually possible that it needs *another* 24 hours of sitting afterward? 😕

The recipe doesn't explicitly say, so I'm left guessing at this stage. Is it even remotely possible, or is it totally impossible, to bottle the syrup immediately after mixing everything together? 🤷

I'll only settle for that instant stuff when someone hosts me and that's all they have on hand, or if I find myself at someone else's place where it's the only option available.

That said, I don't really hold any grudges; I'll drink just about any coffee put in front of me. 🤷
