2018 Car Reveal and Pre-season Testing in Formula 1 ·
McLaren is currently sitting at the top of the pace charts, especially when they're running those hyper-softs 🎉🎉🎉

P.S. Honestly, engine manufacturers aren't even remotely struggling this year compared to what we saw in the past. I have a feeling Renault's power units are going to be right up there with Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz.
Watch for half an hour, then hit the hay. 🙂

Lewis Hamilton pulls a full 10 seconds on everyone else in a single lap :-D
Miami Grand Prix - May 29, 2016 in Formula 1 ·
Fourteen drivers in a single second. I honestly think we're looking at the most thrilling Second Quarter of the season yet.

"Right now, we're sitting on the third-best chassis—that's backed up by our performance in the third sector here in Sochi. Only Mercedes and Red Bull are outperforming us at this stage; Ferrari, Williams, and Force India are all trailing behind." In fact, Alonso clocked a 29.198, which put him just four-tenths off Lewis Hamilton and a mere two-tenths behind Daniel Ricciardo.

Third fastest in sector three—sitting right behind Red Bull and Mercedes, but ahead of Ferrari.

That means McLaren definitely has a solid chassis on their hands.

I’m expecting them to pull off something big in Monaco.
.
Does anyone happen to know how McLaren's pace looks in the third sector compared to the rest of the field?

So, why isn't Ferrari running today?
Running into some issues, or what's the deal?

stormybadger8 said:You think he’s lucky? He’s just sitting there with Rosberg in the cockpit, backed by all that constant support from Lauda, Wolf, and Lowe. It’s not like they have a real driver or bosses who would actually let there be even a hint of a fight...

Hamilton is honestly so mediocre my grandmother could outdrive him, let alone some actual talent in a car and Engine that stands a chance against Germany...
Let's be honest here. This is the guy who used to get pushed around by Massa. I mean, seriously, Massa...
A guy like Kimi would eat him for breakfast, not to mention anyone else out there. 🤦

Fine, maybe this new kid and Maldonado wouldn't stand a chance either. 😁

Ferkan is actually looking better than expected. 👍

What is wrong with you?
Just because you don't like him doesn't mean you should go around talking nonsense in public.

Aaron Sanchez422 said:Let me guess, you're just some lowlife looking to gloat over a victory by those thugs? Were you cheering back in '92 when they were tearing through Boston? At least we cleared them out; for you guys, they’re still hovering over the skyline. You better watch who you're celebrating with, buddy.

And don't even worry about who the bigger or stronger group is. There's no way someone like you would be the one to judge this forum anyway.

Is that your way of justifying the loss you took against the Delija today?

Is it really that hard to just admit you got beat?
Honestly, I feel bad for both sides—your joke of a group and the Delija.
I'm just being objective: you guys got absolutely crushed today. In the world of supporters, you're the laughingstock right now.
That said, RESPECT to every single guy who made the trip down there.
As for you internet experts and "objective" observers, you can go wave goodbye. 🙂

What a pathetic apology. It’s a bit of an understatement to say they’ve completely lost their way, yet they refuse to own up to it.
They lost, they took a beating—good grief. That’s just part of the game in the supporter scene. Tomorrow, they might be the ones handing out the beatings, just like they used to.

The BBB is in the gutter right now. A few years back, they were absolutely dominant, and maybe they'll find that footing again eventually. But right now? They aren't even in the same conversation as the Delije. There's no shame in admitting that.
In a few years, they might return to their former glory.

Brandon Anderson34 said:Look, if you guys were actually stronger, you wouldn't have been outnumbered three to one, especially since the BBBs took such a beating... to me, that points to a completely different conclusion. 😵

I'm not on anyone's side here. I’m just looking at this from a neutral perspective.

Adam Long8 said:The issue isn't the clubs; it's the knives. That’s a nuance you guys will never grasp. You've already stabbed three Bad Boys in the last few years, but when it comes to the heavy hitters, you just go at them with axes.

Best regards!

Man, I really can't stand these moralists.
You all act like saints, but let's be real.
You're only acting this way because it's a 20 vs 20 matchup.

If there's one thing I hate, it's the whining whenever a group loses and everyone starts grasping at straws.
Bad Boys in Fans ·
You asked for it, and honestly, you got it.
Those who walked away did so because they were looking for trouble.
Well, they found it.
For years, you guys mocked the Bad Boys, but now they've handed you a lesson you won't be forgetting anytime soon.
In all fairness, you weren't even playing in the same league as a group that is much stronger and better than yourselves.

Wishing a speedy recovery to everyone who was injured!
jadeseal7 said:Since STR is still ahead of them, I wouldn't hold my breath. Qualifying and race day conditions are two different beasts altogether.

Based on what we've seen so far, this is definitely progress.
One minute Fernando Alonso is leading the pack in practice, and the next he’s sitting in fourth, trailing by a mere 0.2 seconds.
I am seriously looking forward to the race in Austin 🙂

As a McLaren fan, I’d much rather see Lewis Hamilton return than Lewis Hamilton.☕

I honestly think having Lewis Hamilton in the first seat with Baton following him would be a killer lineup. Of course, if the car isn't up to par, the driver situation doesn't really matter much. I'm just hoping McLaren can actually build a decent machine for next season.

Bottas had a car twenty times faster than Alonso's, and he just cruised right past him. 🙂

You clearly missed that part. 😁

It’s obvious you didn't notice that Bottas was struggling too, and even Button passed him—and Button was an extra 11 seconds behind Alonso. Even Vernie and Magnussen caught up to him by the end.
But no, really, did anyone actually notice what strategy Button used to overtake Hulkenberg and Alonso at the end?
