I’m going to look for something much milder. All I know is that I’ve read way too many horror stories about Diane 35 to even consider it.

I went through every hormone test imaginable because of the hair growth issues.
After all those blood draws—mid-cycle, end of cycle, whatever—my specialist at the Mayo Clinic basically told me Diane was the best bet for tackling both the acne and the hair.
I'm planning on a six-month course. Things improved significantly by month four, but I don't see where this leads. The second I stop, everything will just crawl back.
That's what the doctor told me during the initial testing, too.
Everything else is fine. Hormones are stable.
Ovaries are fine.
Psychological dramas: Any recommendations? in Movies ·
Karen Gonzalez71 said:There’s also an American remake called In Treatment, starring Miki Manojlović as the psychiatrist and Nataša Janjić as the young patient.

Tried downloading it. It won't work. 😢(((

Yeah, and the original is Israeli. I haven't been able to find any version besides this one... but it's excellent.

Karen Gonzalez71 said:I’ve been scouring the forums looking for this specific genre, but I can't find a single thread... surely there are more people out there who appreciate psychological dramas and want to trade thoughts on them.

I’m personally drawn to shows that offer deep, thorough psychological character studies. Anyone else looking for that?

For me, the absolute best—the gold standard—remains In Treatment.

A must-watch.🙏

Solid doctor😉. Doesn't waste time talking; just stays focused and gets it done👍

swiftpanther11 said:honestly, this year's lineup is a disaster. it's pathetic.
if Pips and Tripper weren't on it, the whole thing would feel like some amateur garage demo show.
Zadruga, Pasi, and Krešo aren't even worth watching anyway.
everything else is just filler; the rest was basically an outdoor festival vibe.🙂

look, Pasi are the only ones doing anything right. amen... screw Pips.
Interview experiences - let's discuss! in Psychology ·
Samuel Wood3 said:So, specifically regarding the pros and cons—since everyone seems to be asking about it... what should I actually say as a strength if I'm applying for a role involving someone who just pushes unnecessary products? 🤷

I once overheard my director saying that if someone can't look her in the eye during an interview, she crosses them off the list immediately.
🤷
..not exactly advice, but there it is..
What did you (intentionally) miss? in Movies ·
Jesse Watson37 said:What have you guys intentionally skipped? Which movie did you start only to realize halfway through that it just wasn't for you? Is there something on your watchlist you can't seem to get around to? And which films did you reject, and why?
To the horror of most of you (maybe not), I’ll admit I’ve skipped every single Harry Potter movie. Why? Simple: I’m just not into wizards or that kind of fantasy. I gave it a shot, but it didn't stick. I was bored.
I'm also not big on superheroes, monsters, or vampires. For instance, I have zero desire to sit through the Twilight Saga, and honestly, I regret even watching Van Helsing.

I second this.
Potter is completely uninteresting to me. I can't wrap my head around how much money that series made... and Pirates of the Caribbean? Please. Just no.
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
I need three shots of espresso a day—for two days straight.
Anything else is useless.
Otherwise, my intake is standard.
It’s always been this way.
And I get my prescription without any issues.

Movies about conspiracy theories in Movies ·
boldnomad45.
It isn't even really about conspiracy theories. It's more about the fact that there aren't any—there's just you.
The intro regarding the obsession with conspiracies is actually quite sharp:

"Nothing goes through an evolutionary process alone or without direct benefit to the whole. So when you begin to think that there’s this controlling elite, this controlling hand behind the curtains leading the planet to destruction…

When you think the end is near, the apocalypse, Armageddon, and when you think we as a species are doomed, it is not they, it is you that brought this about, and for a very good reason. You are evolving. Stop blaming everybody and everything else. Quit panicking about global tyranny and natural disaster and pay attention, because the world is telling you something; it’s tell you exactly what is wrong with you and how to fix it."👍
Brilliant.

As for that documentary... honestly, I have no clue. I guess I'll go hunting for it myself.

Training Day (2010) in Movies ·
Great movies!🙏 Both 1 and Bad Boys II.

The first one hits a bit harder for me, but both easily rank among the best films I've ever seen.👍

p.s. anyone know of a solid documentary about SWAT teams?

Thanks!

btw, I'm actually downloading the soundtrack from the first movie right now.
Insulting public figures in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Arthur Booth96 said:I haven't exactly seen any of those government officials you mentioned popping up on the forums to complain about being insulted, I guess. ☕

And I should probably ask you, which United States Government law are you even talking about? Because that’s what you mentioned, but honestly, I don't think a law like that actually exists. ☕

Well, you managed to confuse them... that's far too much heavy lifting for a "genius" like that. 🤣

My signature says it all.☕
