Kevin, I think I'm running into a bit of a snag here.
So, I went ahead and installed MicroG, the Revanced Manager (version 0.0.57), and the YouTube apk (version 18.16.37). I made sure to apply all the recommended patches, and everything seemed fine—YT ReVanced showed up right on the Manager dashboard, and the whole process appeared to go smoothly. I even opened YouTube and successfully logged into my Google account using MicroG.
But, well, nothing happened! I’m still seeing ads everywhere, and I can't seem to access any of the premium content.
I tried uninstalling everything and even gave that old Vanced version a shot, but no luck there either. Then I wiped it all clean and tried setting up Revanced again from scratch... but it's just the same result.
I did see some folks on Reddit mentioning that the Revanced Manager is an Alpha version and might have some bugs, but in my case, it feels like it isn't working at all.
(I'm running Android 11)
I'll probably give it another go soon; I'd really love to get this working, especially since it would help out with a few other things too.
And I honestly hold a bit of a grudge against you for kicking my white kitty out of my avatar. Well, I guess you got exactly what you asked for. If you want to play the cat card, then fine, we're playing it. You’re acting just like that Black Shiptar; as soon as someone gives you a taste of your own medicine, you all start scurrying around like mice in a field.
You’re being dishonest, really, because we supposedly buried the hatchet, only for you to go and break the truce yourself.
You insulted Bubby in such a nasty way, and I just couldn't stand it, so I took the cat down—I didn't want to look at her anymore after that.
Well, regarding Pfizer, there is a possibility that blood viscosity increases, though I guess I don't know if that's a permanent thing. There are just so many question marks involved, I suppose. Almost everyone in my circle dealt with that, except for me—unless you count those two days where things were a bit "off" while I was acting as a caregiver😁. As for the vaccine itself, I didn't really feel anything; I was actually one of the last ones to get vaccinated, since others were already moving on to their third or fourth shots while I was still on my first.
That's why aspirin exists, I guess; it thins everything out.
Jesse Price said:Man, you really nailed it. I don't know what I'd do without you. I guess I was actually expecting some genuine concern rather than just talk about blood clotting, and honestly, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what happened, at least for a few days there. You definitely earned that one, I suppose.
Back then, AstraZeneca was such a boogeyman that I wasn't even worried for a second. Sorry, maybe better luck next time.
Nicholas Watson said:... P.s. I honestly think any sort of truce between you and bluecyclist64 was just a temporary fix, maybe even a bit fake, because you two really went at it the very first chance you got. Be friends. Spread love
...
So, like I said, it’s a peace treaty until next time... and honestly, no love, no peace... not anymore. 😛
I’ve actually seen it—I caught that awkward little clip over on YouTube. I'm currently sitting here waiting for my YouTube Vanced patches to finish installing; it feels like it's taking forever, but I'm really hoping everything works out smoothly. I think there might be some new details tucked away in this video, too... maybe if I listen closely.
Jerry Robinson56 said:We're a little bit "behind the curve"... you definitely caught that. I guess you've got a sharp eye for those things. 😁 I suppose you could say that, actually. I suppose I should probably start by saying that I don't have much to add to the ongoing discussion, though I've been following it quite closely. It seems like everyone has such strong opinions on the matter, which is fine, I guess. Maybe I'm just being overly cautious, but I feel like there's a lot of nuance here that we might be overlooking in our haste to reach a conclusion. It’s interesting, really—how quickly things can escalate when people get passionate. I'll try to contribute something meaningful soon, if I can find the right way to frame my thoughts without sounding too repetitive. Just thinking out loud, mostly. He arrived after I did—it seemed to me, anyway—a bit older and perhaps a little more cautious than I am. 🕺 I suppose I could try to be a bit more wise about it, if that’s even possible. Maybe.
And who might that be... the most honorable caller to my humble little corner of the internet? Is it "Anna four pistols"?
I guess the person responsible for feeding the fish really ought to be a bit more careful, don't you think? Maybe they should just watch their step a little more closely. I was thinking about that Minamata hint earlier today... I guess there might be something more to it than meets the eye, though I'm probably just overthinking things. Maybe it's worth looking into a bit deeper? It feels like there could be a subtle lead tucked away in there somewhere.
Maybe you could take a look at this one; I’ve actually been reading up on that whole case lately. I usually try to avoid canned tuna, even though it’s honestly my absolute favorite thing to eat. But, I don't know, I feel like I've probably hit my lifetime quota already. Organic salmon seems like a much better way to go. It feels like things might be getting a little more intense lately, or maybe I'm just seeing it that way. It seems like the situation is becoming somewhat more dangerous, I guess. It’s just one, but in a metal form, I guess.
By the way, I was actually pretty surprised by Shirley Manson too; I always pictured her exactly how she looked back in the Queer days. But then again, being in your fifties is basically just like being in your forties now (or maybe even your thirties!), so I suppose not much has really changed. 😁
cosmicgull52 said:I mean, I guess Protomartyr might actually be the best example of that whole "middle-aged white guys playing post-punk" vibe out there right now.
This one happens to be my absolute favorite album:
I was listening to this and immediately thought of Caitrion, who was a female friend I used to live with back in Dublin (well, I stayed at her place, technically), so I just had to put this track on. It’s honestly really good...
Arthur Sanders74 said:Blanche, oh Blanche... honestly. I mean, look at all these people who showed up just because of you... 😁
Who on earth introduced you to Claudia? I actually stumbled upon her in that thread about the USA and ended up defending her against someone, so she joined the discussion and just stuck around!
Maybe a little gratitude wouldn't hurt. You weren't even around back then; you were practically non-existent. ☕
Jesse Price said:Losing cognitive function is actually one of the primary symptoms when dealing with mercury poisoning. 😢
I suppose you were also waiting for my blood to clot from that Pfizer shot, right? It’s been over a year now and I’m still standing. I guess this little bit of mercury exposure will affect me in much the same way.
That image was actually a bit of a giveaway; I did some digging on Google. I guess you could say people definitely have a sense for politics, though maybe it's just a hunch. ☕
Arthur Sanders74 said:... No person, no problem. 😉
That was honestly the first thing that popped into my head, but I figured it wasn't exactly socially acceptable, so I decided to hold back. 🕺
Because it says "these three want to share two apples equally" and how to handle that with one knife stroke. There isn't any rule stating I have to exclusively "reduce" the apples, nor am I obligated to fulfill their specific wishes. 🕺
It’s pretty sick, really dark, but I guess it technically meets the requirements. 😬
Alright, please don't post here if you happen to stumble upon this. I can't really talk right now, but I'll get back to everyone later.
Regarding politics and general viewpoints, whenever your username pops up somewhere, I can't help but think: what a shame, just a total waste of potential. I honestly get hit with this wave of sadness and melancholy, just mourning a lost intellect. I don't know. Maybe God helps you out somehow.
Come on, give me something ELSE to work with, God bless you! I’m genuinely curious here.
(Anyway, kudos for the first part too—you're clearly a smart guy, and I honestly feel bad that you've ended up so tangled up in all this political mess).
I’m moving through this one pretty slowly (to put it mildly), but honestly, it's been a blast and I'm not really sweating the pace. 😁
It kicks off with some easy stuff and then progressively gets much more challenging—though there are solutions provided. I suspect it might take me years to get through all of them, and I'll probably never finish half of them, but I suppose that's fine. It's the journey that counts, right? 😬
