Sis, you'll find out in the next episode... 😛

Drew Lewis2 said:haha, how? my taste is transparent... O

🤣 Nah, I'm just saying—that stuff from the canned meat is leaking out, so it actually makes sense to me... 😁
Slow Burn & Quote

They should've been... Seriously?!

😁 The songs are alright, but that top band was on a whole other level live...

Jason Mendoza said:Slow Burn & Quote

I can't even begin to deal with this... just total nonsense.

Slow Burn & Quote

I can't even begin to process this... just a single symbol? You gotta be kidding me. Is this some kind of joke or are we actually doing this now? Total waste of time...

Jason Mendoza said:even Slow Burn & Quote isn't that bad 😁
Don't you dare click 👍 this

hehehe, my first thought was this. 🕺 and what's with this ridiculous iconography?! 😲

hey, tenks. wasn't a wisdom tooth, just a molar. been bugging me for years, honestly won't miss it. 😬

😲 heyyy 🤣 I ended up doing pretty well with mine! 😁

hehehe, nice. I'm swamped with work, promise myself I'll make a playlist to listen to while I grind and then I'll just forget again. check the last link or two and call it a day. in that spirit, Battles should fit perfectly into a workday afternoon. 🙂

Still hurting from getting my tooth pulled yesterday. 🕺

np billy childish & ctmf - you can't capture time...

Totally missed that on the first pass. 😁

Dennis Hall41 said:Alright, I think the first and last ones are in there somewhere. Too bad we don't see Pangloss more often; KC's pretty quiet lately, and it looks like old soul, dile, and suburbian have basically checked out completely.

Steven Newman50 said:There's enough post-rock elements in here to grab my attention. But honestly, when it comes to pure math rock, I can't say I'm a huge fan. That being said, the stuff you linked sounds more than good.

The NP thread isn't great, but the rest of this sub is popping. I've discovered a lot of new stuff through those weekly album threads we started recently, and I actually dig the direction this is heading. Check it out sometime 😉

Funny you mention that, because this is playing right now: NP

Oh yeah, I meant the NP thread—I lurk and read other topics, but I don't really write reviews. September's starting off nice, so I'm hitting the outdoors whenever I'm free... maybe I'll change my mind by winter if something truly mind-blowing drops (within my musical bubble). Or maybe not?! 😁

I can't write anything for you without the source text. Please provide the posts you want me to rewrite. kaže: First day went alright. We hung out in front of the school instead of going inside. The boss said we could just chill out front whenever we feel like it—on the benches or just hanging on the grass—and run classes from there... : s : D Look, we'll figure it out. We'll give it everything we've got and just hope for the best... ...

Mimma, look on the bright side! At least you actually made it out there in person... 🙂

But seriously...
The Comet is Coming - March of The Rising Sun
Found them right here on this thread, obviously... 😍

😁 I remember how you reacted—honestly, I felt the exact same way... 😍 Man, that concert back in February was honestly the last decent show I went to. I remember jumping around in a massive crowd of happy people with my friend... now it just feels like some distant dream... 🕺

What the hell is with all this damn cheering?!... 😛

Just some morning stretches... ...

Dennis Hall41 said:Yeah, honestly, it was dead as hell.

...

Better a grave than a slave. 😛 Jokes aside, I really miss last year's crew—the people I actually used to go out with to discover new artists. Whether it's because of the lockdowns or just life happening, everything feels way more hollow now.
Shoutout to guys like Ash, Jules, Mark R., and Late B... 🙂

Man, I’m starving for a decent show. Catching Clutch live would be absolutely perfect right about now.

...

Same here. I miss the whole damn vibe—the crowds, shoving through people, that feeling right before the band hits the stage... just all of it. 🕺

Like seeing Afriquoi—Starship featuring Shabaka Hutchings and Moussa Dembele (not the soccer player) ...

Too lazy for the multi-quote. ☀️ the music is solid; embryo keeps moving.

Jules, stoked for that bike trip! 🙂

man, work's been hitting me just as hard—first day I didn't sit down once until late, next thing I know I'm already burning out, and yesterday I finally just said enough and bailed for the hills. 😬 okay, it's not like I wasted the whole day, but even a working woman needs a breather sometimes...

np the new weird ...

Sim returns. 😁 Two weeks of living the quiet life out in rural Montana—pure zen. I could probably go longer, but they wouldn't let me... 😬

Have fun! I'm actually heading back home to my hometown in a few days too...
p.s. sorry about the random music and stage rants every now and then, that’s just Jamie Davis9 talking, not me... 🤷 Jamie Davis9 is a whole concept. : trep :

p.p.s. man, this is actually good: just keep your memes to yourself... 🤦‍♂️ 😂

No kidding. It's actually good... :D

🤣 Mimi's doing great! And thanks! 🙂 Hope you're digging it too... 🙂

I don't feel like digging up that old thread right now, but I gotta brag—I’ve actually made it out to the local monument a few times lately. We were working on some stuff and ended up wandering around looking for the right spot... and so on. Personally, I think the monument is pretty cool. Then again, I'm basically a relic from a different era anyway; even just a random trip to a shooting range about ten years ago was enough to stick in my memory forever... 🧐

Drew Lewis2 said:...
No way. Go check out those absolute clowns... :D

😛 Nothing went down at the local diner...

jaga

I know this one's alright, but I'll probably just stick to listening to the rest over the next few days. Anyway... 😁

*inspired by Stanley Kubrick's film 2001 : a Space Odyssey (1968),[1] with a title that plays on the film's title,[6] the song is about the launch into space of Major Taj, a fictional astronaut, and was released during a period of great interest in space flight.
