Not gonna sit here and quote people all day, but man, this guy has an incredible music library! 🙂 Godspeed & Bowie were my go-to this morning, but Miriam Makeba really hits back against that weak stuff playing everywhere else 😍

Steven Newman50 said:It’s literally the same name as the first thread... 🤷 Is there even any point in changing?... ☕

Of course there isn't... ☕ It used to be different, but honestly, it’s not like it's some life-altering deal. As far as I can remember (unless some chunk of this forum's history went missing?), it was just "Now Playing," then they changed it to "Latest NP," or some other dramatic shift... 😁 Anyway, that bio was more of a half-assed attempt than any actual desire...

Now Playing: The Big Moon Your Light ... 🤦

New thread, same old name? You guys are probably too lazy to change it. 😬 Here's my first voluntary suggestion: NP means NP 😛 😁

For me, it was definitely the original 60s era of The Mothers of Invention.
...

🤣 good point.
on topic: if I'm digging back into my early childhood, it’s probably The Beatles—nothing more kid-friendly than those Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da tunes (even if we didn't catch the 😁 back then). Once I got a bit older, it was The Ramones. People overused the "end of the century" cliché way too much. 😉
