I guess I lowballed my power supply a bit ☕—yeah, fair enough... I'll change it back to the original price $1167 though I could probably shave a little off for a serious buyer
What am I even smelling? 🙄 🤣
I've decided to let this rig go—mostly because I need a laptop to handle my college coursework—so if anyone could give me a rough estimate on what this is worth... thanks in advance. 🙂

Also, is there any word on whether some weaker or cheaper Kepler-based cards will actually hit the market?
I've been eyeing a new GPU for a while now with a budget of about $350—so naturally, I want the absolute best bang for my buck—and people have been telling me to just hold out for those Kepler cards... though if they're asking $700, they can forget about it.
The logic was basically that if you wait for Kepler to arrive, the prices on the older 5xx models should tank, which might give you a chance to snag something decent at a much better price.🙂
Sure, no problem at all 🙂

I suspect that comparison site is just feeding us bad data... 🙂
@Bradley Rogers95—since I noticed your other components are newer, I’m assuming your power supply is too—you should be fine picking up that GPU, seeing as it isn't exactly a power hog.
They're essentially the same cards; Bryan Evans77 just used that price aggregator link to find the absolute cheapest option... though, honestly, I think PriceGrabber might actually be more reliable here. 🙂
You’ll have plenty of breathing room for that GPU with that power supply—so you won't have anything to worry about... 🙂
Your power supply might not actually be total junk... just tell me the wattage instead of the voltage, for crying out loud xD—or better yet, just give me the amperage...
Let's just assume for a second you have a decent enough power supply, maybe somewhere in the 400-500W range.
http://www.newegg.com/p/details...viddispl/42150This card is slightly overclocked... plus it's got massive cooling with three fans. 🙂
Found a solid SSD on sale—if you're looking to upgrade, here's a little something for your consideration. 🙂

Also... even though it's an older series... I wouldn't touch a 6450 with a ten-foot pole because anything lower than an x500 is basically just scrap metal.

It actually has a much better cooler—and it’s a bit cheaper, too 😉
It’s been slightly overclocked :P—as for the cooling, just look at the attached photo.
Look, I’ve got this card sitting right in front of me—it’s one of those "budget" GPUs that actually punches way above its weight class when you're just trying to get some decent gaming performance out of it.
Actually, just ignore what I said before... Benjamin King2 was basically bragging to me about how this OC version of the 6870 is pushed pretty hard—honestly, it's performing better than the VTX model. 🙂
vividbison47 said:I know that—you guys totally misinterpreted what I meant
So, if the 6770 is objectively better than the 6750, then why on earth is this weaker 6750 priced higher? 🙂
Maybe they just haven't updated some of the pricing yet.
vividbison47 said:Why on earth is the PCI-E VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6750 priced higher than the PCI-E VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6770 (V2)—especially since the 6770 V2 is actually the newer, updated version of the 6770, not the 6750?
Look, the Vtx3d amd radeon hd6770 v2 is indeed the newer, more recent iteration compared to the vtx3d hd6770 (v1)... but it's not the successor to the 6750.

Here’s what they sold me 🤷
I told them I needed it for PATA—actually, I specifically emphasized it was for an OLDER model drive—so is this right, or did they just screw me over? 🤷
Honestly, I don't have a clue how any of this is supposed to work.😕
That case should work fine if it's for that drive you posted in the photo... 🙂
vividbison47 said:Radeon HD 6770 (V2) or just the standard Radeon HD 6770?
Which one should I grab—the V2 or the regular one?
Go with the V2... they're the same price, so you might as well get the newer revision of the card.
ironbear44 said:So, basically, I’m looking for a headset + microphone combo—it absolutely needs a USB port. Budget is somewhere around $90. Honestly, any model works, as long as it’s actually high quality and worth the investment. Thanks! 😉 Also, if it’s possible for it to work on an Xbox 360, though I’ve heard just about any USB port should be compatible with the Xbox 360.
You could go with those Sony ones specifically made for the Xbox 360, but personally, I think the one linked above is the better bet—mostly because that other one is just a single-ear headset, lol.
