Sam Roberts said:Also, what's the price per container, and how big is the actual serving size? I have my doubts about whether this is even worth the money.
$40 - It's roughly 24 ounces... something along those lines.
I have been browsing through some old threads on the forum, and while the topic has come up a few times, I haven't found a definitive answer yet. In your opinion, would these proteins available at Walmart be acceptable choices? A.) Optimum Nutrition Whey B.) MuscleTech Protein
I anticipate many of you will jump in to claim these are just more low-quality options, but looking over the specs, they don't seem too bad to me (though I am certainly no expert). Besides, my budget is a bit tight right now. Here are the nutritional facts:
A.) Optimum Nutrition Whey
Average nutritional value : per 100 g Calories : 1611 kJ / 380 kcal Protein : 80 g Total carbohydrates : 8.5 g , of which sugars are 7 g Total fat : 2.9 g , of which saturated fats are 2 g
Average nutritional value : per 100 g Calories : 1590 kJ / 374 kcal Protein : 88 g Total carbohydrates : 2.4 g , of which sugars are 1.2 g Total fat : 1.3 g , of which saturated fats are 0.6 g L-Glutamine : 5.7 g
The MuscleTech Protein looks quite decent to me. The Optimum Nutrition Whey seems to have a bit too much sugar, but again, I don't know much about this stuff. I just need something to take after my workout—nothing fancy. Just maybe a couple of tubs to help see some muscle progress. MuscleTech Mass Tech isn't an option for me.
"I'm just playing with a lot of confidence right now," Josh Smith remarked after dropping a game-high 27 points. "My teammates are coming my way, and I realize they're leaning on me to step up my scoring more than they used to. They need me to be there, and I feel a deep responsibility not to let them down." "Since we're playing without Joe and Al, he's become our primary option," Larry Drew noted. "We're going to funnel the offense through him as often as possible and trust that he'll make the right decisions. Honestly, his performance has been nothing short of phenomenal."
The report says Nick Young is returning to the lineup today... honestly, the guy can take such questionable shots it's enough to give you a migraine... I've got my money on Russell Westbrook to go over 18 points myself. Hopefully, everything works out for the best.
It seems like you follow the NBA closely enough to analyze every single move. (I’ll give you credit for that, since you always provide stats and detailed breakdowns). However, your recent picks feel a bit like someone trying to chase losses at a sportsbook, almost as if you're betting massive sums on the NBA. Looking at your record on S-X2, here is the breakdown: Winning bets: 19 Losing bets: 33
You are currently deep in the red...
EDIT: I'm not trying to be hateful here... I am simply stating the facts as they stand.
Now, if you are placing other bets that you aren't posting here, then more power to you...
No, I don't have any intention of betting on this game at all... I'm just saying, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Charlotte Hornets covered that ridiculous 2-point spread. But as far as I'm concerned, this matchup is definitely a no play.
Look, I totally get what you're saying about those plus-minus stats. xD But honestly, if you just head over to NBA.com and check their last five or six games... they've been absolutely crushing it, winning by an average of 20 points. So now, suddenly, they only pull away by 2 points? Based on how they've been playing, they really should be winning by at least 10.
Can someone please explain to me why the Charlotte Hornets are suddenly sitting at +2? Did the Hornets all of a sudden become a legitimate contender?
It always seems to be the case that when they set such a low line... some mediocre team ends up pulling off the win. I swear, the NBA is totally rigged.
Here is a helpful link if you are interested. It covers how the NBA plays in America... specifically what people are thinking... so you can see the percentage of fans betting on specific teams. It focuses on the point spreads... since Americans seem to have a bit of an obsession with them.
It’s quite frustrating when scheduling changes occur less than 24 hours before tip-off... When things just keep happening one after another... For instance, today we have Ray Allen and Kyrie Irving sidelined due to illness.... Then there was the situation where Chris Bosh had to deal with a death in the family...
There could easily be a thousand different reasons for these disruptions... Word is that even Kobe Bryant missed a shooting practice to visit a doctor, though I suspect he will still suit up, yet anything is possible at this point.
EDIT:
As expected, Nen and Gallinari are out for the Nuggets. Rudy Fernandez is out as well. Rockets have to keep Faried OFF boards.
I was scrolling through the news feed over at ESPN, and they have this live ticker window where updates from reporters and coaches just cycle through non-stop... that's how I caught the news.
It looks like Ray Allen is going to be sidelined because of some kind of virus... We should probably hang tight until the game wraps up... there are just some strange rumors flying around right now... You truly never know who might end up sitting out at the last minute.
Kyrie Irving will be a game-time decision for Friday's matchup with the Chicago Bulls.
The top overall pick from last year's draft skipped this morning's shootaround after coming down with an illness.
Hey Decki, you better stay sharp and keep a close eye on this development.... If he ends up sitting out, we might even see a chance to take the Chicago Bulls at -14.
