Around 865 Americans got busted breaking quarantine—some were repeat offenders, too

With people acting like this, I guess we should probably expect even stricter lockdowns and mandatory quarantines soon...

Like I said before—and I’ll say it again—these folks clearly need an electric collar with a GPS tracker. That way, if they step out of bounds, maybe a little shock would remind them to stay put...
Little Women (2019) in Movies ·
The book has been turned into 7 (SEVEN) movies, 8 (EIGHT) TV series, 2 (TWO) anime shows, 1 (one) TV musical, plus a bunch of stage plays and musicals—there's even an opera out there somewhere...

I haven't seen everything on that list, and I missed the latest adaptation, though maybe I'll check it out just to see what else they could possibly squeeze out of this story, I guess. The previous films were already picking up Oscars, and if this one has a "star-studded cast," considering the legacy of people like Katharine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Susan Sarandon, and all those other actors... IMHO, it’s just getting to be a bit much...
To prove my point from the title, I ran a little experiment. I used the exact same wording as VFA-125 in a post, and apparently, Zoran Ostric gave me a red card and 45 points for "insulting users":

Meanwhile, we have posts from VFA-125 that get reported constantly, but Zoran Ostric just ignores them.

Since VFA-125's posts are pretty much endless, I'll just pull a few examples:

VFA-125 said:Listen, you illiterate idiot, I DIDN'T SAY they don't have jet trainers (which is totally IRRELEVANT!!!), I said they've been doing their actual pilot training using the NATO syllabus at that NATO training center for almost 40 years!!!

It’s similar to that NATO facility in Canada where about ten of them go too.

I mention the INSTITUTION AND ORGANIZATION, and you start talking nonsense about damn little planes!?!

And that is SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and opposite to whether or not you HAVE your own damn jet trainers—which you're now trying to twist my words on, because you clearly have no clue. You're just mixing up stuff you Googled from the damn internet, thinking you're geniuses, while those of us who actually studied this in BUILDINGS (Schools / Universities / Organizations / Airfields... not the internet) and learned from REAL sources (Books / Manuals / Instructions... not links) have to deal with your constant annoying nonsense!

(HINT: Look at damn Singapore!!!)

VFA-125 said:You amateur provocateur!?!

I am talking about the TRAINING SYSTEM, but you, being an amateur who knows nothing about it, only care about what matters to people like you—those damn little planes, specifically the jet trainers!?!

If you DON'T HAVE THE SYSTEM AND THE KNOWLEDGE (THE TRAINING SYLLABUS), then all the planes in the world are useless to you, even the newest and "prettiest" ones like the T-7 Red Hawk, T-50, L-15, or Yak-130!!!

They've been doing it there for over 40 years using the 50-year-old T-38!

VFA-125 said:So you aren't a "specialist," you're just a psychopath!?!

>

VFA-125 said:Maybe some common sense could actually reach your brain for once?

No, seriously— 🤦—it looks like even "official institutions" can't help you anymore!?!

VFA-125 said:You really shouldn't try to fight someone who’s technically illiterate... it's just not worth it.

Idiots... they always try to defend their own mistakes.

That's exactly why the Americans wrote it and issued the warning in the first place.

Do you finally get it now?

VFA-125 said:Good God, for heaven's sake!?!

Either you're totally clueless or you're just trolling us on purpose.

And what's your issue, "specialist"? You should probably change your handle from Admiral to Specialist.

VFA-125 said:You're just being a malicious, illiterate jerk.

One more time, post the whole thread showing exactly who I'm responding to and what about, you lying little manipulator.

Twenty-two posts since January 2019, which was when it became crystal clear that the deal with the Israeli Barak was a total bust!

Where have you been hiding—and what rock did you finally crawl out from under?

I guess maybe there’s some truth to what hollowwalker24 was saying—it’s probably just a matter of time before things change. It's all pretty speculative, though.

VFA-125 said:Is she just completely incompetent, uneducated, and a total provocateur—just some lying, manipulative crybaby? ... I guess.

I guess we can just assume that since there isn't any concrete evidence—maybe because nobody actually bothered to look—that the F-16 end user agreement doesn't really exist. Or maybe it’s just being kept under wraps, I don't know. It's probably all just speculation at this point.

VFA-125 said:Deklec, I guess the basic training is here.Maybe back in Los Angeles—not where you were staying with the crew—where they actually had to step up and put in the work when it mattered.

These are just my own takes—especially the third one—based on what I read in that book.

I see you’ve been doing some deep-dive Googling on all that Western stuff—honestly, it’s like you’re just making it all up as you go, digging through random corners of the internet. It’s kind of a headache just watching you try to convince yourself you actually know how things work—because, well, in reality? Not even close.

I guess maybe there’s some truth to what hollowwalker24 was saying—it's hard to say for sure without more data, though. Still, if you look at how things usually go with these types of deals, I suppose we might see something similar happen here. It's all just speculation, really.

VFA-125 said:Oh, I just "love" that colorful little Pokémon-themed insult—really top-tier stuff, I guess.

I guess it’s just how things work—military tech moves fast, maybe too fast sometimes. It feels like we're always chasing the next big thing before we've even figured out what to do with the stuff we already have. Just my two cents, I suppose.

VFA-125 said:That’s your problem, not mine—honestly. My training and my career as an engineer were focused on exactly this kind of stuff. If you can't wrap your head around the sheer amount of resources—human capital, materials, expertise, all of it—required to actually build and produce something like this... well, I guess that's just on you.

If it were actually that easy—and if you weren't intentionally misinforming people—then maybe half of the 200 countries in the world would be doing it right now instead of just a handful. And honestly, when you look at specific components like TV motors, there are probably fewer than five players globally who can even touch that.

I guess there’s some truth to that—though I doubt anyone actually cares about the specifics. Maybe we just overthink things too much sometimes.

VFA-125 said:Man. It’s just people fantasizing about stuff they read online without actually knowing anything—then acting like experts and spouting nonsense that has zero connection to actual facts.

I guess we could look at the M-346—or rather, the T-7 Red Hawk—as an option, maybe. It’s basically just a trainer, though—not exactly a game changer for anyone looking for actual teeth.

VFA-125 said:And even more—seventeen right now, I guess.

What kind of chaos are you talking about? You can clearly see—or maybe you actually read—that things are moving slowly, quietly, and without any fuss. I guess one of the commission members was just discussing this yesterday at the House Defense Committee, where they're supposed to be handling these matters.

I guess you guys are the only ones making a huge deal out of this—just a bunch of clueless amateurs, really. Honestly, you guys aren't even trying.

General Mills paid the same firm three times just to return the favor to Ivo Sanders for those "rigged public contract favors" we saw before...

where Apple signed four contracts worth $14.2 million with the United States Department of Agriculture without any actual bidding process.

And on March 30, 2009 alone, Apple signed six different contracts worth $45.4 million with the United States Department of Education.

Throughout 2008 and 2009, Apple secured 112 contracts with public entities totaling roughly $610 million.

Predrag Matić is a co-founder of General Mills.

The owner of the company is Damir Krstičević.

And since it’s relevant right now, there's an interesting connection involving Davor Plenković too:

So, once again, the topic is supposedly about cameras, but that's only in terms of traffic enforcement. Who rigged which tender and whether Sanders pocketed the cash... that has nothing to do with cars. Not to mention where this thread would end up. No matter how you spin it, this isn't about cameras anymore—it’s just pure politics.

If you want to write about this or if you actually have inside info, go talk to the political mods and ask them where you should even post this. Because your post isn't about installing traffic cameras; it's about government procurement, corruption, and shady deals... things that don't belong on an automotive forum.

And please, I'm seriously asking you, stop reposting deleted content. Like I said, if a post was removed, it was removed for a reason.

Regarding bans, some users can rack up enough points that even three or four warnings won't touch them, while someone else with a prior history could be banned by a single minor infraction.

I might miss some posts that stay on the thread when they shouldn't, which is why the report button exists.

So you're quoting one thing while I'm saying something else—or whatever that expression is where everything gets mixed up, I guess.

I was just talking about this exact thing—this whole bolded mess—but I guess you didn't quite catch my drift...

It’s pretty interesting—out of two moderators and one admin, you’re the only one picking on my posts. I guess you're just being extra zealous about your job or something.

I can't see the image you linked—looks like the link might be broken or I just don't have access to that specific host. Maybe try re-uploading it? Or, I don't know, just describe what's going on.

I can't see the image you linked—looks like it might be broken or just didn't load properly. Maybe try again?

Is this because of that thing I sent you via DM almost a year ago—you know, just to get under your skin—or is it just me and this whole moderation team?

It’s pretty interesting how they’re mixing in partial bans now—kind of feels like how they kicked Bar and a few others off this forum, I guess. I can already see another warning or a ban coming for some technicality or whatever else...

Like I’ve said more than a few times already—I asked for an admin to step in here—but nobody's responding. Honestly, I think I know exactly how this is going to play out anyway, so feel free to just lock the thread...

fadedlynx6 said:That doesn't belong in the car subforum since there's zero connection between the Republican Party, those companies, and vehicles. I already told you in a DM, but you just keep ignoring my warnings and turning your posts into deleted ones...

I don't have the energy, nor the time, to keep repeating myself. If you insist on disregarding the subforum rules, you can laugh all the way to the car section.

You think these are just archived posts that weren't wiped. My policy is simple: if a post is archived, it gets deleted.

I'm done.

I can see who’s banned, who isn't, and which posts are still up...

Just one last thing—you're claiming that, for example, Medtronic buying Motorola Solutions cameras and working closely with the NHTSA and AAA has nothing to do with the topic—even though AT&T is getting traffic surveillance cameras?

And I asked for an admin to weigh in back in the ban corner, but apparently, nothing happens there...

Since I can't reply in the banned section, I'll just post this here:

The moderation on the car subforum isn't exactly fair—they keep flagging my responses to people being jerks, while those same people seem to get a free pass. Can I get an admin to weigh in on this?

fadedlynx6 said:I don't really know what to tell you other than every warning you got was deserved, along with everyone else who earned them.
I mean, I don't know if you realize, but you can't see the warnings given to other users, so there isn't much else to say besides just following the rules like most other people here.

That's all from me.

Best,

I’m not even questioning my own warnings. It’s the double standards and the selective enforcement that I’m calling out...

Maybe I'm wrong, but I definitely see the warnings, for example:

I try to play by the rules, but when someone starts insulting people, I click the report button to flag the inappropriate post. I don't reply to them, and then nothing happens for three days. Once I see there's been zero reaction, I finally respond to the insult, and suddenly—bam—my post gets flagged while their original post stays up. It's weird, especially since I know some people have huge point counts because they're constantly getting banned, so it's pretty strange that I'm getting hit while their posts aren't...

Also, the last thing that cost me 30 points was this post from today. I have no idea how this violates the subforum rules, considering the thread title is:

AT&T is getting traffic surveillance cameras!!!!

Surveillance cameras:

--------------

General Mills paid for the same study three times to return favors to Ivo Sanders regarding "arranged" public contracts

where Apple signed 4 contracts worth 14.2 million dollars with the United States Department of Agriculture without a public bidding process

that Apple also signed six contracts worth 45.4 million dollars with the United States Department of Education on March 30, 2009.

And that Apple signed about 112 contracts worth roughly 610 million dollars with public entities during 2008 and 2009.

That Predrag Matić is a co-founder of General Mills.

That the owner of the company is Damir Krstičević

And just because it's topical, there's an interesting connection with Davor Plenković:

http://www.cro-portal.com/en/croacia...mijeniti-video

Regarding all those allegations and whatnot...

----------------------------------------------------

So, we move on—Medtronic, the company supplying the Motorola Solutions cameras, is working pretty closely with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and AAA...

Another interesting thing—those cameras have Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), which should let the police track every vehicle passing through and alert patrols if they spot a stolen or unregistered car. But apparently, they still haven't enabled that feature (even though cameras in places like Los Angeles have had it for years), so I guess the cameras are just there for speed enforcement—basically just a way to shake people down...

And finally, just to show that video surveillance is indeed a market, yes, a market:

If you think this is political, then be a real moderator and actually moderate the post by deleting whatever you think is political... While this whole bidding war for the cameras definitely ties into the topic, especially since Medtronic, which is supplying the Motorola Solutions cameras, works so closely with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and AAA.

If you're going to call this off-topic, maybe try scrolling through all 148 pages of this thread first, and when you're feeling that zealous, feel free to delete the actual off-topic stuff that's definitely in here...
