Everything you need to know about ordering is right there in their FAQ—they even have screenshots to walk you through it:

It usually takes them about 1-2 business days to process everything, depending on whether the item is actually in stock. If you get your order in during the morning, it’ll likely be at the post office by the next day. That local branch over in suburban Chicago stays open until either 5:30 or 6:00 PM, if I remember correctly.

I just drink bitter black coffee whenever my blood pressure dips, which happens a lot. I don't see it actually speeding up my weight loss at all (though, let's be real, I'm happy with how things are going regardless)

Of course you aren't seeing it. Supplements alone aren't going to make the weight fall off; they’re just one tiny piece of the puzzle. People often miss the big picture because they're too focused on the small stuff 😉.

Exactly. Honestly, sticking to caffeine and green tea gets you way better results when it comes to burning fat.

Megan Diaz45 said:I asked my trainer if there’s anything I should be taking post-workout, and he started talking about protein shakes and why they're useful. Honestly, I was thinking they might help burn fat "faster" or help me build some muscle definition. Or maybe it would be better to take L-Carnitine before I hit the gym? 😕

I'm not totally sure, so I figured I'd ask for some advice here too. 😁

Protein isn't going to melt your fat away any faster. Protein shakes are mainly there to prevent catabolism—basically stopping your muscles from breaking down—after intense anaerobic training. As for L-Carnitine, if you ask me, it's just throwing money down the drain; there are way better supplements out there for mobilizing fat. Besides, your body produces plenty of its own carnitine, and you're already getting enough through your diet from things like red meat.

Look, if you’re still seeing those pounds drop, just keep doing exactly what you're doing 👍. Out of those three Weider options, I think the one with four different protein sources works best. It's solid enough to use as a meal replacement or even a post-workout shake. Honestly, that Perfect Body stuff has some pretty questionable ingredients in it.

It really just comes down to what your specific goals are for taking protein supplements.

you guys totally missed my point here.
It's not like I go two days without carbs followed by one loading day (where I just eat whatever). What I actually do is two days after my load, then four days with carbs—specifically, two days of low glycemic stuff and two days of high glycemic.

Aha! So that's how it works.😉, you're basically doing carb cycling. From what I understand, the whole depletion/loading thing usually lasts about three days using protein and fat-heavy meals while keeping carbs under 30g (getting them strictly from veggies) to kickstart ketosis for faster fat burning, followed by one day of carb loading to reset your hormones.

Maybe try eating like Michael Rivera63 if you're looking to lean out. Though, honestly, a 2:1 ratio for cycling depletion and loading seems a bit low to me. Can you even hit ketosis that quickly?

You could even try alternating hot and cold water on your leaves while you're in the shower—just make sure you finish with a cold blast. Though, who knows if that actually does anything?

Peace out and sweet dreams 😁 😛

I've been on this for over six months now. I actually switched over to Casein because, honestly, I just can't deal with chewing through 300g of fat-free yogurt and almonds as my last meal of the day. Plus, hitting the Casein and flaxseed oil before bed ends up being way cheaper.

Here’s my current protein setup

Whey: http://www.prosport.net/katalog/prod..._id=1030065520

Tastes great and mixes up super smooth.

Casein: http://www.prosport.net/katalog/prod..._id=1030061516.

By the way, you can order from Prosport and just have them ship it to your local post office in the US; it ends up being much cheaper and you won't deal with customs fees as long as the total stays under $333.

Can you drink whey with milk? Sure thing—since milk has casein in it, it'll just slow down the absorption of the whey.

Honestly, there's zero difference between BCAAs, so just grab the cheapest one on the shelf. But hey, rustyowl4 made a solid point—if you're watching your budget, you're better off putting that money toward a good whey instead. As for my own supplement routine, I usually split my protein up. For a pre-workout hit, I'll take a mix of 20g protein, 30g maltodextrin, 10g BCAA, and 3g creatine. Then, for my actual post-workout shake, I bump it up to 30g protein, 40g maltodextrin, 10g BCAA, and 3g creatine. I make sure to fuel up about an hour to ninety minutes before hitting the gym, and then obviously nail a heavy meal with protein and carbs about an hour after I'm done.
