I mean, what kind of strategy is this for Massa? Ferrari is totally losing it here.🙂

Well, damn me if I know.😁

How exactly are they measuring this?

Is that weight the car plus the driver, or just the car alone?🙂

Because at this rate, Nick Heidfeld looks like he's driving a heavy-duty tanker instead of a race car.🙏

What can you even say? It seems pretty obvious that General Motors has given up on fighting for positions and just dialed back the weight on Alonso's car to make it perfect.

It’s clearly lighter than everyone ahead of him; you could almost expect him to pit, come out in clear air, and cruise to his first massive win of the season.👋

Man, Alonso is such a legend... he absolutely blew me away today.

I'm telling you... if there's any truth to the rumors about a new engine development in the works, and if they finally phase out this KERS system—which, let's be honest, is basically his biggest advantage at the start—then we're looking at total dominance.

You hit the nail on the head. 🙏

I'm realistically expecting Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso to gain at least two spots each by the time they clear the first corner—and honestly, that feels like a conservative estimate.🙂

That seems a bit overly optimistic to me, 🙏

considering we've still got two kilometers to go before we even hit that first turn. 😁

With Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso sitting in the 1-2 spots,

the exact order doesn't really matter right now. 🙏

nothing feels certain anymore 🙄

But if you follow the logic, they’ll likely penalize Sebastian Vettel first, then move on to Rubens, I suppose 😕 which would drop Rubens down from 3rd to 8th 🤔

That seems right

So Rubens starts in 8th

Let's take a trip back to Sepang 2006

🙏Fernando Alonso finished in eighth, sitting right there in third🙏 🙏

Man, if Aki gets a start like this tomorrow, things might actually get interesting, or even better if he nails it.

Fernando Alonso is starting from ninth, and we all know just how punishingly long that start-to-finish stretch is at Sepang.

Man, oh man...

But honestly? With that KERSOM advantage, he’s going to be absolutely relentless, hounding everyone in his rearview mirror.👋

Even without an ear, Fernando Alonso drives like a true champion🙏

It isn't really a matter of luck, honestly. Felipe Massa isn't exactly an "elite" driver, and there's no amount of good fortune that can change that fundamental reality.☕

Don't be like that.

There are people who truly love him.

It wouldn't be particularly pleasant if things turned insulting, would it? 😁

Massa, an excellent driver? 😍

Did you get programmed by a computer or something? 😁

Don't tell me Nelson Piquet actually ended up spinning out into the gravel 😕

I can hardly believe it 😍

And just like that... everyone's picking bits and pieces from here and there to suit their own views..

I honestly don't know how he can show his face in public like that 👎

It’s not going to happen this time.

Not when Piquet flies off the track, slides 200 meters away from the circuit, and doesn't bother anyone.

I mean, it isn't Canada where they spend hours picking people up off the track.🙏

I wouldn't be surprised if we see some KERS magic again today🙏

What a drive 🙏 🙏 🙏

I find myself revisiting this one with genuine joy every single time. 😍

Ultimately, that race will be remembered for Alonso's brilliant performance rather than Button's first win.

Even though Alonso didn't actually cross the finish line, in my eyes, he's the true winner here. 🙏

redstag said:It all depends. KERS was a huge help for Hamilton. Alonso can say whatever he wants, but KERS is what kept Glock from overtaking him for most of the race.

There’s an 80% chance we’re looking at rain this Sunday.

Well, Glock certainly made a bold claim there.

Personally, I’ve always had a hard time taking Glock at his word.

The guy is practically a pathological liar and a total sycophant for Lewis Hamilton.😁

I’m joking, obviously.

But look at the math: Alonso only gets 6 seconds of KERS usage, while a full lap takes about 1:30.

If Glock didn't manage to get past Alonso within that 1:30 window, then you can't really blame KERS for the gap.

Though, to be fair, he did eventually pull it off at the end.😍

This is easily one of my all-time favorite tracks. Honestly, if you just take a look at the list of past winners, it becomes immediately obvious why this place holds such prestige. 😁

Thinking back to the 2003 race in Kuala Lumpur, I still vividly remember young Alonso’s start. He lined up way back in 20th, but by the time they hit that first corner, he had already sliced his way up to 11th.

He shot off like he was launched from a catapult. If anyone happens to have a video link for that, please share it—it is absolutely worth every second of your time. 🙏

As for the upcoming race, my expectations are undeniably high. I’ve already been daydreaming about seeing Alonso take the top spot, with Piquet following him in second. 🙏

I have a hunch that Renault might have intentionally played it safe during their performance in Australia, perhaps just to keep the competition off balance while they quietly prepared the car for a decisive victory here.

Go Renault! 🙏
ironfalcon43 said:Up until about three seasons ago, I actually thought he was quite decent 🙂 but things have shifted significantly since then. It isn't that I harbor any particular dislike for him—it's just that my respect for his driving style has waned over time.☕

To me, it feels like there’s an entire side of this story that hasn't been told yet. It’s like looking at a finished painting and realizing you’re only seeing the top layer, missing all the sketches and heavy brushstrokes underneath that actually give it depth. There is clearly more to the situation than what we've been presented with. 🤷
fadedpanther4 said:I've loved him ever since he crashed his Sauber at Imola back in 2001, right in front of my seat. 😍

While you were busy having fun watching the race at Imola, I was stuck peeling potatoes during my time in the Army. 🙏
To be honest, I’ve never really been a fan of Kimi Räikkönen 🙏
