I was just wondering if anyone actually managed to make that Lollapalooza coupon work? A buddy of mine tried using it today, but I guess it didn't go through for him. If by any chance someone did get lucky and wants to sell a ticket, I might be interested in buying one for up to $117 .

I guess I'm wondering who else thinks this is a pretty sweet deal 🙂? Maybe I'll just cut out the coupon today so I can use the discount tomorrow.
So, the voting for who gets to play at Lollapalooza is finally wrapped up, and I guess it looks like the bands Law of the Skies and Embassy 516. pulled in the most votes from everyone.
Just a heads-up that tickets for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival are going for $147, or maybe just $130 if you happen to be a Verizon customer, but those prices are only sticking around until Wednesday, May 5th.
Starting this Thursday, May 6th, I guess the ticket prices will go up to $163, which would be $147 for anyone with a Verizon discount.

Oh man, I guess I wasn't really paying attention to which stage they were on 🙂 but that's alright, I know now, and I usually end up hanging out right in front of that stage anyway.

The second day looks like it might be a bit of a struggle for me, so I'm really hoping that Flogging Molly, Pendulum, and Dubioza Kolektiv don't end up playing at the exact same time
I mean, if you can dance to LCD Soundsystem, then I guess you could probably have the time of your life cutting loose at a Flogging Molly show too, maybe.
I guess I'm actually feeling pretty good about the lineup this year, though I suspect it might not be enough to really pack the crowds; they probably need to put in a bit more effort if they want to see a massive turnout.
I think 🙂 works for me. They're honestly such an incredible live band, I've caught them before, and I guess we'll probably get to see them out promoting the new album too
I don't think there's any chance at all for Rage. If Exit didn't bring them on board—and I'm pretty sure they were actually the first ones up for a vote, if I recall correctly—then they just don't have a shot. It feels like they're way too expensive, and honestly, the budget just seems a bit too tight for it, I guess.
It's the final day, and I guess everyone is suddenly rushing to grab tickets! It's kind of funny seeing people complain that nobody wants to show up because they aren't happy with the lineup, though... maybe they just haven't realized how fast things are moving
