I guess I'm really not sure who's doing what anymore! My other friend just messaged me saying he actually picked up his ticket today over in Columbus, so maybe they just don't have them available in NYC or you might have to head closer to downtown to find one.
Olivia Walker30 said:I mean, I don't really know, so please don't yell at me. 😢 😁 I'm probably not going to make it all the way out to Des Moines, so I guess I might just head over to the other spots tomorrow instead. :/

I'm actually being serious 😁
maybe you should just grab a ticket somewhere tomorrow and then head over to see that guy to show him that there are still tickets available 😁
Olivia Walker30 said:Since I went to pick mine up at that spot over by the Potomac, they basically said there aren't any tickets left at all, though he did mention he's hoping more might show up in a few days. In my 😢 opinion, he didn't even suggest looking elsewhere; he just said they were out and hoped the deadline would get extended right after everything sold out. 😕

I mean, how is he supposed to know if other locations have stock or not? They don't really print tickets on demand like Ticketmaster or AXS does, since they usually have them all pre-printed. A friend of mine actually grabbed some today at a shop in Des Moines and they still had plenty left.

Maybe they just don't have what you're looking for at that specific center, so I guess it might be worth checking out a different one. Tomorrow is actually the last day to grab those cheaper tickets, so you probably want to hurry up if you can.
Man, Ignite is such a vibe!!!
I guess it would be just incredible to actually hear this live... ugh, what a dream.

I know they did play there, but I guess I just don't have enough cash to catch every single show, so maybe it would be really nice if they ended up playing the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival instead.

That would be really lovely, and I guess they probably aren't too expensive either, maybe.
Man, oh man! I took a look at them, but I wouldn't say I'm exactly a super fan now. I guess I'm just hoping they might add some decent punk acts to the lineup later on.

Oh man, I would love to hear This Is the Life again. 🙏
Thomas Peterson5 said:I guess I'm wondering who all these artists actually are? I mean, I listen to a pretty wide variety of music, but most of these bands are totally new to me—Massive Attack is about the only name on here that I actually recognize. 🤷

I guess I could probably help you out with those two bands...

Rise Against is such a solid band, I guess. They just have this way of hitting all those right notes, maybe even more than most other groups in that scene.
I was just sitting here thinking about this video, and I guess it’s one of those things that really sticks with you, maybe because of how much it captures a specific feeling. It’s pretty interesting to look back on, I suppose, especially when you consider how much everything has changed since then. I found myself watching it more than once, just trying to soak in the atmosphere, though I might be overthinking it. It’s a nice little trip down memory lane, I think.
I guess I just stumbled upon this video, and honestly, it’s pretty interesting. I was thinking about how much things have changed lately, and maybe there's something here worth looking into if you have a spare moment. It seems like a nice little watch, so I figured I'd just share it with everyone here.

I guess I was just thinking about Flogging Molly today, and honestly, they always seem to bring such a great energy whenever they play. It’s funny how certain bands just stay in your head like that, maybe because their sound is so distinct and lively. I don't know, there's just something about that folk-punk vibe that feels really uplifting, I suppose.
I guess I just stumbled upon this video on YouTube, and honestly, it’s kind of a vibe. It’s one of those things that makes me think about how much music has changed over the years, though I probably shouldn't be so definitive about it. Maybe it's just me, but there's something really nostalgic about watching clips like this. It's pretty chill, really.
I was just sitting here thinking about this video, and I guess I felt like sharing it because it’s honestly such a vibe. It’s one of those clips that really sticks with you, maybe because of how raw it feels, or perhaps it's just the way everything flows together. I don't know, I just found myself drifting back to it a few times today while I was hanging out. It seems like the kind of thing that might resonate with people who appreciate those little moments of genuine connection, even if it's just through a screen. I suppose it's worth a watch if you have a few minutes to just sit back and relax.
I guess you might get a chance to catch some Canadian indie rockers at this year's Coachella, which is happening on June 22nd and 23rd over on Manhattan in Chicago
quietwalker17 said:I guess I’m secretly crossing my fingers for some Pearl Jam news... they're playing in Boston on June 22nd, so maybe that date might work out perfectly.

June 22 Boston, USA The O2
June 23 Chicago, USA USA Odyssey Arena

but they haven't been around much lately, and I guess their new album is just absolutely killing it.
Since they seem to be recycling the same bands that have already played in Chicago, I guess they really ought to book a massive headliner this time to get the whole crew excited! Maybe it would need to be someone like Rage Against the Machine or Placebo to really make it happen
I’d bet anything that the Chemical Brothers are on the lineup since they’re playing Lollapalooza too, and I guess maybe Dropkick Murphys might show up because there seems to be such a heavy punk influence at this year's Coachella! Or who knows, maybe Muse could make an appearance? 🙂
slypanther5 said:if I'm reading this right, one of the acts from that list above has been confirmed for Coachella. and maybe even two of them.

do you know something that the rest of us don't, or what?
urbannomad30 said:I guess you probably should have listened more closely if you've already reached that conclusion 👍

I mean, what are you even trying to say by calling them good? Honestly, my head hurts just thinking about it because it's all so incredibly dull... and I don't think they're any better than anyone else, really! I suppose I'm just thankful that Rise Against and Flogging Molly are on the lineup, but I was definitely hoping we might see another big name pop up soon!
I think I heard some rumors about Pendulum potentially playing, but honestly, it might be even better if they brought in a massive global headliner to really draw a huge crowd... maybe something like Rage Against the Machine making a comeback? It feels like it could be one of those last chances to catch them live, and if that actually happened, it would probably be an absolute blast!
I've been listening to some of this LCD Soundsystem stuff lately... honestly, I think it’s pretty bad, maybe even really bad 🤦

I guess Lollapalooza feels pretty outdated compared to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to me! It seems like their lineup just gets worse every single year, whereas you can really see how much Coachella is evolving and moving forward...
