Paul Jones7 said:it’s pretty obvious that the concentration of talent is way higher in soccer

Honestly, that just sounds totally absurd and doesn't make any logical sense to me at all...

The actual density of talent really just comes down to the ratio of "elite" players compared to the total number of people playing the sport...

And let's be real, soccer definitely has one of the lowest concentrations of top-tier talent out there simply because so many more people play it—I mean, basically anyone who can kick a ball twice without tripping over their own feet gets signed up as a player somewhere.🙄

Man, I’m a little late to the party here, but hey, better late than never, right?

Check this place out. You can find reviews😉 for tons of online sportsbooks along with a mountain of info regarding them—stuff like deposit and withdrawal methods, potential red flags to watch out for, and all that good stuff.

I've got funds in Bwin in USD and my PayPal is also in USD, so the big question is, can I transfer directly from PayPal to my checking account, or do I need to open a separate foreign currency account, and if so, what currencies should I be looking at?🤷

I mean, I know you can move money from a standard checking account over to PayPal, so I'd assume it works just as easily the other way around. My only gripe is that they can be pretty slow sometimes. Last time I messed around with it about a year ago, it took me like a whole week to get everything moved from my Federal Reserve account...
Adam Collins4 said:I honestly don't get why people are coming for the refs... they were calling it tight yesterday, and today they're just laying into the Icelanders again...

And then there's the fact that those same refs were letting them play super physical group ball against us... man, what a character...

Yeah, I totally hear you on that... if you take a quick look back at our own sports history here in the States, we have this huge habit of just pinning everything on the officials even when it isn't really their fault..

It’s pretty much exactly what I was rambling about during halftime yesterday—the coach and the players all lost their cool because they actually played a great first half but just couldn't pull away. Meanwhile, our guys stayed totally composed and just ground out the win until the whistle blew. ☕
So, Wenta was saying over at SN today that yesterday's match totally gave him flashbacks to those old Ireland-France qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 🙏 🙏

I honestly think it’s because they were playing way too much with their hands 🤣 🤣

America!

👋

But hey, I bet you guys actually remember when we went up against Poland back on January 30, 2009, during the semifinals of the world 🙂
What the hell is with these Polish fans whining about the officiating so much? 😠

I mean, damn, they absolutely hammered us just like France used to do back in their prime, yet they only walked away with three suspensions while we took four. Their coach starts throwing a tantrum over a five-minute penalty and then acts all shocked when he gets slapped with a yellow card...

Honestly, they can just go jump in a lake 🤮
Adam Collins4 said:It’s basically impossible to stop them on defense unless we actually had a lineup better than theirs... which, let's be honest, we don't...

If we tried to play that style, we'd end up spread way too thin out there, plus you can't forget how dangerous they are when they just drive straight to the hoop...

Especially guys like Karabatić and Abalo...

On the bright side, Mirko really stepped up his game and leveled up our wing defense big time🙂

Maybe that'll be enough to give us the edge we need.🤷

Adam Collins4 said:There was a time when we’d just get absolutely shredded by Bill and Lijewski because nobody would even bother stepping up to meet them on the perimeter...

Honestly though, those are just minor details at this point... It always takes them a little while to find their rhythm and get everything balanced out perfectly

I don't even expect anyone to play flawless defense for a full 60 minutes straight... If we're looking at 10 goals in the first half and maybe 11 in the second, I'd say that's actually some pretty solid defensive work if you ask me...
Adam Collins4 said:And you can see everyone pointing out how our defense just wasn't clicking during that first half...

I mean, honestly, it felt like we had to work way harder to get our defensive rhythm right today than we did when we were playing against the Danes or whoever...

Yeah, I'm totally with you there... it generally feels like it takes us a little longer to really find our groove and get fully locked into the game...

But that brings me back to what I was saying earlier... I’m actually kind of fascinated by how chill our guys stay, even when things aren't going their way and they're losing. There's no frantic rushing or losing their cool...

That winning mindset they've built is such a massive factor in this whole championship run... From that perspective, pushing the younger kids hard is a great move to make sure that culture stays alive... (well, except for Britney, he's a lost cause 😬)
Tyler Anderson48 said:how Lac is actually a total pro on the field..😢

With the way we're playing right now... especially against the French...🙂
I’d say a silver medal is pretty much in the bag.
☕

😕

Where did you even come from? Seriously, the guy is clearly injured, and it feels like every time he takes a hit on the turf, the wound just rips wide open again.

🙄
Honestly, I’m starting to get pretty fed up with these judges 😠

Dule 🙏 🙏
Honestly, what’s been totally blowing my mind during this whole tournament is how I haven't caught even a single hint of nerves from our guys...

Every single game—I mean, every single one except for the matchup against Austria—we were trailing early on, yet they just stayed completely locked in, kept their cool, and managed to claw their way back into the lead🙏 🙏

It was like, "Look, we're gonna win eventually, so why stress out?" That kind of mindset is easily half the battle won right at the jump🙏
I honestly can't even begin to explain how much I love a good pear, like, it’s just one of those things that hits differently when you find a perfectly ripe one at the local farmer's market, you know? kaže:
So, get this... Ketica was saying they actually sat down and hashed it out during halftime, and they decided to have some of the guys switch things up to a 5-1 defense for the rest of the game.

I mean, seriously, how on earth did they not manage to work that out after just ten minutes on the field?! 😲

Man, they were absolutely crushing it, like running up a 5-1 scoreline just fifteen minutes into the game... I'm feeling pretty pumped about seeing Vori leading the charge like that!

Honestly, our defense was absolutely rock solid from start to finish—there wasn't a single moment where things felt even slightly shaky out there. 😉
Maria Fowler39 🙏 🙏 🙏
Man, they are absolutely kicking our asses right now, I swear 🤦
Adam Collins4 said:Is Gojun blocking again?

yup

I mean, he did let two slip past him into the net, though...

And there we go... just like I said, he's totally lost his cool😁
Seriously though, what is wrong with you guys? It’s just the same old story...

Now those Americans are going to start losing their cool because they're playing way better but just can't seem to break through, and 👋

It's honestly just solid defense paired with some really lackluster offense..
Oh man, seriously... Cupic looks like he’s in total pain right now 😢

We’re actually going to have to face France without any decent right winger 😲

And honestly, can we just chill out regarding Strlek? The kid is only 21, for crying out loud... Even Balic was struggling through games in Sweden at that age 😠
Man, those guys from Poland really know how to throw a punch... I don't think even Mavrović could pull off a hit that heavy 🙏 🙏 🙏
