Sensitive skin tips? in Health ·
You can find Avène at most pharmacies, so I’d say it's probably best to just check with the pharmacist there to see what fits your skin type.
As for me, I use the Avène cleanser, face cream, cleansing milk, and foundation—and honestly, I'm pretty happy with them, even though my skin usually reacts to basically everything.

Synthetic versus non-synthetic fragrances? No clue. If you have sensitive skin, I guess you should probably be cautious regardless of which kind of fragrance you're using.

Avène has quite a selection, especially if you're dealing with dry, sensitive, or damaged skin, and they don't include those typical irritants.
Clarity on Claritin? in Health ·
I honestly thought Claritin was pretty mild🤔 I didn't even notice it working. Diphenhydramine just knocks you right out.

Yuppie. My doctor actually told me I should be eating more probiotics. I guess once your immune system dips and things get out of whack, yeast just takes over. Not just grabbing some Nature's Bounty every now and then, but maybe making it a regular part of my diet.

Not looking for details😁 But yeah, he asked how old I was. Caught me off guard for a second there. I guess... not sure what he plans to do with that info.

First, they’ll just chat with you for a bit. They might ask some awkward stuff, I guess—like how old you were when you first had sex or if you’re using protection and things like that.
After that, it’s a Pap smear and an ovarian exam.
That’s basically the core of it, though they might run an ultrasound too. If you're looking to get on birth control, they'll probably send you for blood work as well.

The nurse will check your blood pressure, height, and weight, and then that's pretty much it. Nothing to worry about, really. 🙂

I was wondering how long you usually wait for swab results or something like a Pap smear when you go through socialized medicine? I went to a private clinic and got everything back in maybe three or four days.

Maybe about a week, I guess.

Why can't I just switch doctors without waiting until the end of the year?🤔

I’m honestly so fed up with my current doctor that I’d love to jump ship right now. The guy’s schedule is packed out months in advance, but apparently, if you're willing to pay extra, he magically finds an opening by tomorrow morning.😠
Then, when I finally get in to see him, he just rambles on about everything except what I actually came in for. He stays incredibly vague; the most helpful answer he's given me so far was, "You'll read about it."👎 I mean, why should I have to go read something when he's sitting right there? I guess making things difficult is just part of the job.🙄
