The data is in: I woke up yesterday, hopped in the shower, and realized... well, let's just say things were getting messy. 😳 I headed straight to my doctor, who gave me one look and said, "Yeah, looks like your period is starting," before immediately scribbling a prescription for birth control pills. She explained that I have full-blown PCOS—apparently, everything is connected, from the weight fluctuations to these brutal cramps—and then she basically called my previous doctor an absolute idiot for not putting me back on the pill immediately. So... yeah. I guess I've got more luck than sense at this point.
The condoms are ready—no issues there—but I was really hoping to find some kind of loophole in the law. Turns out, a year is just too long to wait for such ridiculous ideas. 😁 😍
Anyhow... okay, the whole "on-off-on" plan is officially scrapped. I have a checkup scheduled for Thursday, so I’ll just have to see what my body actually has to say about all this.

Alright, here’s the deal. I was on Apollo 11 for three years before deciding to take a break. I stopped back in May, and my period hasn't shown up since. I saw my OB-GYN in July, and she told me it was perfectly normal—but because she went on medical leave right after, I haven't been back for a follow-up. Now, the issue is I need to get back on birth control immediately 😁.
1) What does five months without a period actually do to your body?
2) Can I just start taking Boeing again on my own?
The pills are supposed to kick in after two or three days, right? Could I just start them and then stop again after the first pack? Or should I go see the doctor, tell her everything is fine, and just ask for a new prescription? What's the move?

.. yeah, that's an option if I'm planning ahead—but right now I've suddenly decided I need pants because I urgently need new ones...
.. honestly, I don't know. A few times I've gone to a tailor, but only when I've known weeks in advance what I needed. In reality, I have this totally irrational impulse to just walk into a store and buy whatever catches my eye. 😳

.. mhm, no this isn't narrow... it's more... hm, sexualized against the body.. not pretty 😢

.. So, I went on a hunt for some pants today.. just basic black ones, really—I’m not exactly high maintenance.. after several hours of pure frustration, I gave up and went back to my reliable old friend at Old Navy and grabbed $167 because they actually fit me right..
.. As for tops? Honestly, I think I'm calling it quits.. I found some size 14s and 16s that fit everywhere except the chest—apparently, I need a weird combo of a size 18 up top and a size 14 on the bottom 😠

.. Honestly, I’m not feeling it—I am not driving all the way to Chicago just for a single t-shirt or a pair of pants, and I’m certainly not risking my data with some sketchy site.. shrug, thanks anyway 🙂

.. so, where are we all getting our clothes? 😁
.. pants aren't really my issue—I can handle those.. but tops? A total nightmare. Everything I find looks like something my grandmother would wear (and I’m, uh.. turning 23 soon) .. basically, "normal" clothing only seems to exist in plus sizes. Has anyone discovered a shop in downtown Chicago where this is actually possible?
.. I pick up a fair amount at Macy's, but aside from pants, most tops are just okay pieces—not really something you'd wear every day 😬
.. I checked out Nordstrom and that Gjurlo XL women's line, but once again, the tops are completely tacky 🙄

.. I absolutely love that movie 😍 .. I couldn't even find it at my local Blockbuster—a buddy of mine has it on DVD, so we just watch it at his place 😁 .. I have almost the entire soundtrack saved on my computer and it’s dark 😎

Sophia Miller5 said:So, has anyone here using LOGEST actually noticed their skin getting worse? Just asking.
Nah... mine is great. My back is fine. I’ve just started breaking out a bit—but that always happens to my skin once the weather warms up and I start sweating more.

.. when people talk about skin treatments, they usually just mean clearing up facial blemishes or whatever—specifically targeting those annoying breakouts and acne issues.
.. for me, though, it actually cleared up my back—since I never really had any issues with my face to begin with. 🙂

I was floored when the credits rolled on the 25th and I realized she was actually, hm, a high schooler😁 she’s...
.. well, she is in X-Men ..
.. and Reese Witherspoon—remember her? Little girl from Interview with the Vampire. After that, I only recall some cameo in Emergency Services and, okay, Spider-Man, but even that... wasn't really anything special..

... the first thing I actually had to get checked was my hormone levels. Honestly, I started taking pills primarily to manage hormonal issues; contraception was really just a secondary benefit.
.. what I actually wanted to ask is this: I've been on Logest for about six months now—and I'm satisfied with it 👍 except for the fact that my periods are still incredibly painful. They are lighter than before, sure, but I still have to practically live on painkillers for at least two days (out of a five-day period) just to function... I can't shake the feeling that it shouldn't be this way.
Nail extraction procedure

.. regarding home remedies, even cow's milk cheese worked wonders for my ingrown nails..
.. I also dealt with toe issues—a literal three-year ordeal. I realized something was seriously wrong when the infection started draining—and since I was only 11 at the time, it was just great 🙄 .. basically.. I just endured it until raw meat started growing in there.. then the doctor visits began. Antibiotic creams, cheese, cleaning everything out.. I even had these masochistic episodes where I’d try to cut that raw meat away myself, just watching the blood flow 🙄 .. then came the podiatrists, soaking my toes in some mysterious dark liquid, and their treatments which were absolute agony.. oh, and the doctors.. describing exactly what they were going to do (they actually told me they’d have to pull the entire nail 😱), so I never even scheduled the surgery... I just kept messing with my toes until 8th grade when I got braces (mostly because of those miserable toes; the braces gave me plenty of room to constantly apply antibiotic cream.. anyway... I remember the end of 8th grade and realizing the toe problems were finally gone. I don't know what did it—creams, soaking, cheese, the podiatrist... but whatever it was, it worked.. now, years later ( 😁 ), I can say *knock on wood* that I've never had issues again.. the only lasting consequence is that my big toe is square-shaped 😁 and the nail grows in a way that requires constant vigilance when trimming.. but when I think back to that pain and that mess of a situation.. having square toes is a small price to pay to never go through that again 🎉

😁 I mean, I'm pretty sure that’s because they aren't like the ones on the transport vessel—they haven't been infected by that thing. 😉 They finally made it happen—even though they weren't even part of the original lineup. 😁

.. I caught this movie on a streaming service about three weeks ago.. I was exhausted and ended up nodding off for maybe half an hour 😁.. but aside from that.. I actually liked it.. Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are total crushes 🙂.. and the plot is.. well, it's decent enough fun, I guess.. Honestly, I think I might even go see it in theaters 🎉

.. So, I was supposed to start a fresh pack yesterday 😵 but not only did I miss my dose last night 😵 I actually forgot to buy them in the first place 😵 😵 😵 and this is the second month in a row I've messed up... I used to take them on Mondays, then last time it was Tuesday—now I’m looking at Wednesday? 😵
... would it be okay if I started the next pack on a Monday instead? That would be two days early.
.. By the time it clicked, I was already out and about. My friend goes, "Oh, just take some of [Friend's Name]'s..." and I told him, "No way, she's on different meds, you can't mix those." And he's just like, "Wait, they aren't all the same?" 😕 .. Honestly, it's wild how little guys know about this stuff! 🎉
