Postpartum hernia: What to expect? in Women's Health ·
Yeah, I had the same thing after my C-section—got surgery done at Mayo Clinic, but they didn't even take it out properly, so now I'm still stuck with this massive scar. Honestly, laparoscopy isn't going to cut it for you, especially since your core strength is pretty weak right now. You’re looking at a six-month recovery where you can't lift anything over like 7 pounds... though I don't know how I managed to carry my baby without losing it.
You’re totally overdoing it! Probably just sucking up because you're hoping for free shipping again, right?!
I voted red and I'm done—period.

In my book, the buyer is the one who calls the shots on how they want their package delivered.
If she specifically asked $3.25 for a package via USPS but there wasn't any talk about her covering the extra shipping costs—I’d just assume it was going out standard.

That’s just your take since you know what the price tag was! If you’re buying through Quella or some other major retailer, they ship via certified mail by default—it’s not like they ask for permission, right? To me, that’s just how it works. Why would they even ask? Her price was only $3.25! Then she goes and says she’s never sent anything certified because it costs $10, so I won't bore you with the details. It tells you everything you need to know!
Have you ever covered someone's shipping just because you liked them or they bought more stuff? Because I definitely have...
Chloe Moore65 said:She definitely deserves a red card—that’s just wrong.
And where exactly was she sending this via certified mail according to $10? I haven't seen that anywhere, unless she was lugging around a massive envelope

I might as well grab a red card for myself while I'm at it, right? What can you do!
Thanks for the advice, but don't act like I'm ignoring everyone else—for God's sake!
It’s totally standard for a seller to ask. When I checked how much shipping would cost, I asked. They said $3.25, and that was that!
Now this girl thinks she's got $27 while I've got nothing? You call that fair? It didn't even cross her mind to just refund half; instead, she goes full scorched earth on me... how am I supposed not to be pissed? Fine, whatever—emotions out, reality in. You just have to accept that some people are shady and move on.

I'm done with the whole drama. Let her keep $27, it's not like I'm going broke over it....
Elizabeth Baker38 said:I mean, you probably meant a package, right? Not just some random drop—if it's shipped that way, you still get a tracking number.😉
I'm with you—should've just sent it as a package.
Sometimes I just charge the customer for shipping too—no biggie. $3.25Honestly? I'll just cover the difference myself to get the full shipping rate—whatever.
Never sent one the regular way before—I guess we just assume everyone's sending packages through here?

Sandra Brooks91—look, I’ve been around this scene for a few years now through various auctions, so even if you don't see me posting constantly, I know exactly how people operate. Based on what you just said, there's no way I'd ever do business with you... that kind of communication is just straight-up shady.
This is exactly what you expect from a customer sometimes—like they'll say "hey, it's on the house," or "I'll give you ten bucks and you cover the rest." Is that concept just totally foreign to you? Because honestly, that's how you actually win people over. But whatever—not everyone plays fair, I guess.

And I don't need your opinion anymore either—thanks, but you already said enough.

Yeah, right—if she's such an honest little salesperson, I'm sure she's keeping that USPS receipt from when she paid the postage... at least that much!
Sandra Brooks91 said:Look, you asked for an opinion—so you got one. It’s just the truth you would've heard even if you'd actually spoken up. Personally, I don't play games with ambiguity, and if I did, I wouldn't be pointing fingers at people just because they're uninformed or messed up, but hey, that's just me. If you had just asked, everything would be crystal clear right now. Instead, you're both stuck in this mess. 🙂 Maybe she gives you a partial refund so everyone walks away happy—though honestly, she doesn't owe you a dime, it's just a nice gesture...

Please, that isn't "objective." Fairness matters here, doesn't it? Where exactly was I being unfair? I paid my money and got absolutely nothing for it.
The buyer isn't the problem—I literally just asked how much to send, and that's what I did.
It's basic logic: once the money's gone, whether the package actually shows up or not is no longer my headache.
That’s just not how it works. Why do I have to keep insisting on tracked shipping—I’m happy to pay whatever the rate is, I just want proof it actually went out. She has my receipt showing I paid, so where’s my proof that she actually mailed it? If she told me it was $5.00, I would've paid it, no biggie. But her excuse was that she "never" uses tracked shipping because it costs $10! 😲
Wouldn't you demand a refund?
Got a question too. I bought a shirt from this girl for $23. I asked her how much to send for shipping, and she says $3.25?
So I sent $27, but a month later, there's no shirt. I'm hitting her up in DMs, but she just ignores me—even though she's clearly active on the forums. Today, she finally snaps back saying she has zero intention of refunding me. Apparently, because I didn't pay extra for $3.25, it's my fault she sent standard mail instead of certified!😲
I'm demanding my money back since I never even got the damn shirt!!!

Her response: "I sent the shirt. I'm not giving you your money back because it's not my fault you didn't pay for certified shipping!"
"I'm honestly sorry it didn't arrive, but you're the only one out of 100 customers who hasn't received their package!"

Anyone else dealt with this crap? One time a buyer didn't get their package, but I had the receipt for the certified mail, so I actually had proof!
Basically, I'm asking $5.00 for shipping, and if the cost ends up being higher, do I just eat that loss myself? Something like that.🤷
Anyone here actually used John Doe? If you have, hit me up in a DM—or let me know if anyone's selling.
Anyone here dealt with Iscador or Isorel—those kinds of injections? My mom's doctor just bailed on her, and she's been stuck on Tarcev indefinitely without seeing any real results. They’re basically flying blind now—mostly because they were shocked she's even still hanging in there...
I don't get why everyone's coming for Frank Taylor4—the guy genuinely wants to help and he’s actually got a heart. He's saying the right things and trying to make a difference, and honestly, when you've got cancer in the family, isn't a little kindness exactly what we all need?
Frank Taylor4 said:Get in touch with Dr. Slavoj Žižek (098331420)—she’s an immunologist and honestly has a killer solution. They call this IP6 with inositol formula the "Cacner killer" because it boosts the immune system and makes chemo way easier to handle. It’s basically a miracle—just look. Check out www.inocell.com.

Thanks for the tip! I actually read up on that "cancer killer" stuff a few years back—didn't really do much for me, though—since it’s just a general approach rather than actually targeting the cells. Mesothelioma is basically a death sentence... at this point, only God can help.
My mom’s fighting pleural mesothelioma—she’s been on chemo for three years now, hit about 35 rounds plus some 30-ish radiation treatments, and she's still hanging in there. Everything’s just getting worse, but she’s still with us. She’s taking raw propolis and iron supplements since her immune system is basically non-existent. We don't even know what else we haven't tried at this point, but nothing seems to actually move the needle anymore. They just keep sending her back for more chemo. Honestly, feels like they're just waiting for everything to finally give out...
I'm also curious about Tarceva—anyone actually tried it? Does it even do anything for pleural mesothelioma?
