Trash PDF moderation issues — again in Feedback & Suggestions ·
@ analoglynx23 - we're talking apples and oranges here 😕
The current moderation team isn't performing well. I suggest appointing either Edward Howard46 or brightjackal13 as a moderator.

Everything seen before 🙄

I don't see what the issue is with clicking a few buttons to grant someone permission to clean up that PDF. It really isn't that difficult, is it?
I suspect they are only valid for about a month.

I have a feeling I know the answer, but I figured I’d ask anyway 😬

Can I officially change my name to Kyle Martin3, since that's what everyone calls me anyway? 👏

You certainly can; just reach out to rustydrifter10 🙂
thanks for the help 👍
@ El Gato - thanks, I received a medication recommendation via a letter from my specialist, and my primary care physician issued the prescription, but she didn't mention a follow-up appointment... is a check-up usually implied in these cases?

I wouldn't want to be reckless and assume I'm fully recovered, especially since this was a bladder infection. I'm currently in NYC, while my doctor is based at KC, which is why I'm reaching out here for advice.

The problem is that I don't even know where to find one. 🤣 I'm not even from NYC. I ended up at the Sisterhood of Mercy hospital, and managed to get through all my exams and tests in less than an hour. My sincere thanks to the doctors in the urology department. 👍

Let me ask one more silly question;

If I received an examination at the Emergency Room mentioned above, and the results state...

Once therapy is complete, you should schedule a follow-up appointment with your primary care physician in the US.

Where should I go for my checkup? Should I see my primary care physician, or head to the Sisterhood of Mercy? 🤔
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·

Regarding gynecologists, you won't find a decent one in this part of town. I'm actually planning to switch to Dr. Clap in the suburbs. I know it's a long drive, but most women speak so highly of her that it feels like the right move.🙂

Thanks for the recommendation.🙂

restlessbadger2 said:Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent general practitioner in the Washington, D.C. area? I'm looking for someone reliable who won't make things difficult when it comes to referrals or scheduling diagnostic tests and specialists. I would truly appreciate any suggestions. 🙂

I am also searching for a GP and a gynecologist, preferably in Brooklyn. 🙂

Even some advice on which ERs to avoid would be helpful. 😬

Nesoi, you don't have permission to view this page. There are a few different reasons why this might be happening:

It’s possible your account doesn't have the necessary clearance for this section. Were you attempting to modify another user's content, reach an admin setting, or access a restricted part of the site?
If you were simply trying to submit a post, the site administrator might have suspended your account, or perhaps it just hasn't been activated yet.

I need some assistance for a friend: Nesoi

She's unable to send messages—the text box just isn't appearing—and she can't reply to any threads either. Could someone please help her out? 😁

Thank you 😍

It looks like Reddit is currently down due to some technical issues being worked on 🤷

If you just keep refreshing the page, it eventually goes through 👍
Are you thinking about getting a tattoo, or have you already done it? If you haven't—don't. If you have, well, there's no turning back now. They’ll just run blood tests before any surgery anyway, right?

Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
Nothing seemed to touch the pain when I dealt with heavy periods. It was debilitating—I’d be pale, breaking out in cold sweats, and even light and sound became unbearable. I tried everything from hot water treatments and heating pads to sipping hot tea, and I would grab whatever painkiller happened to be within reach. There were days I’d take six, seven, or even eight pills just to get through. I ended up in the ER more than once.

And believe me, I’m not the type to complain about every little ache or pain.

Ever since I started taking Yasmin, the pain has almost entirely vanished. 😍 I might still have one bad month here or there, maybe once or twice a year, but it’s nothing compared to what I used to endure. For me, this has been an incredibly effective way to manage the discomfort. 👍
Psychotropic medication discussion thread in Psychology & Therapy ·
I might be in the wrong thread here, but perhaps someone can offer some insight:

I struggle significantly with public speaking—specifically with stuttering and hand tremors 😠. This has been a lifelong issue, and I haven't been able to find an internal fix. It isn't about stage fright or worrying about what people think; I’ve tried everything from rehearsing my speech to practicing my delivery. But once I actually step out there, my heart starts racing and I just lose control.

Someone suggested beta blockers might help. Do I need to see a doctor or a psychiatrist to get a prescription, or is this something I can pick up on my own? Also, which beta blockers are most commonly used for this so I know what to ask about?

Thankfully, I don't have to speak in public very often, but I have a high-stakes presentation coming up soon where I really need to sound convincing—so I want to be prepared ahead of time. 😬
Feeling torn between people in Psychology & Therapy ·
I believe your primary responsibility lies with your child rather than your parents. Moving away doesn't mean you're "abandoning" them; they made the choice to distance themselves. Don't let anyone guilt-trip you. Your parents should be acting in your best interest, just as any parent ought to.

My advice would be to go to your wife and child, because that is where you are needed most. Let your parents know you're available to them, but make it clear they shouldn't interfere in your marriage. Tell your wife that this discussion is closed, and don't force visits if everyone can't find common ground.

Perhaps it might be wise to speak with a professional regarding those thoughts of self-harm... or just about these struggles in general. Please don't carry this weight alone. I'll simply say this: your child needs you. Wishing you the best. 🙂
