Hey there!

I'm looking for some advice on picking up a server machine, maybe something in the $8 $0.00 range, plus a GPU (though I'm open to spending more if it actually makes sense)

The plan is to use it for

• running KVM virtualization for both Windows and Ubuntu servers
• Running AutoCAD for 3D modeling [WRD]
• Using GALA software [WRD]
• An Ubuntu web server
• A NAS setup using Dropbox

From what I can gather, my bare minimum specs would be roughly

• CPU: 4 cores / 8 threads
• RAM: 16 GB
• GPU: Adobe or Radeon cards
• Three 120GB SSDs for the host and two guest machines (we've already got HDDs for the NAS stuff)

I'm down for a pre-built whole unit or just grabbing individual components. Since I'll be messing around with AutoCAD, I definitely need a decent GPU—think something like an Adobe or Radeon card. It’d be awesome if I could find a shop here in the States to grab everything from.

My company is picking up some new gear and I could really use some input. Since I’ll be bouncing between working on-site and coding back at the office, my best bet is grabbing a laptop paired with a separate monitor for when I'm at my desk.

I've got about $2167 to work with for the whole setup.

For the laptop, I need at least 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. Doesn't need a dedicated GPU, just enough to run the OS smoothly.

As for the monitor, I'm looking for an IPS panel around 25". Honestly, 1080p feels way too cramped on a screen that size for me.

Does anyone know where I can pick up some storage boxes like this for my CDs, DVDs, or Blu-rays? It doesn't need to be anything fancy or top-tier, and honestly, $17 I don't want to drop a ton of cash on just basic cardboard boxes since I actually need a bunch of them.
Dimensions are roughly (13.5 x 14.5, and the length isn't really a big deal)

That partition comes pre-loaded with factory macOS. (LINK) I used MinTool Partition Wizard to get it showing up in Explorer, but then things got messy. I tried using Windows 10 Lite to load the OS so I could bake in those updates I downloaded, but it wouldn't recognize the installation because the file structure is just... different. So, yeah, does anyone know if there's some other way to pull this off? I guess I could always make an image of the C drive once everything is sorted, but I'd rather not have to resort to that unless I'm totally stuck.

Basically, I want to take my OEM macOS setup—but with all the latest updates already installed and all that pre-installed bloatware stripped out—so I don't have to deal with the headache of downloading and uninstalling stuff every single time I do a fresh install.

remembered. The instructions say if you miss a pill but take it within a 12-hour window, you're good, but if it's been more than 12 hours, you need backup protection. Anyway, my boyfriend and I were using a condom, but the thing actually broke and he finished inside me... so now I'm spiraling, wondering if there's any chance I could get pregnant. I did take the pill within that 12-hour gap, but I'm still feeling pretty paranoid about the whole thing... help me out here.. 😢

(Regarding this inquiry...So, when you’re messing around with Text Wrapping set to "Tight," but the image doesn't have an alpha channel... does the text actually hug the object itself, or does it just stick to the edges of the rectangular bounding box? x86 = 32-bit system—it can only recognize up to 3.25 GB of RAM
x64 = 64-bit system—you’re gonna need a 64-bit processor for this one, plus some 32-bit apps might act a little funky and refuse to run.

So, basically, when people talk about 32-bit vs 64-bit, they're just talking about how the computer's brain—the CPU—handles all that data flying around. The 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows are specifically built to play nice with either 32-bit or 64-bit processors.

One thing to keep in mind is that 64-bit Windows tends to gobble up more memory than the 32-bit stuff. But honestly? It's worth it. Since you can shove way more processes directly into your RAM instead of constantly swapping things back and forth to the hard drive, everything just feels smoother. You end up getting much better overall performance from your programs.

It should probably be sitting right on your desktop in that HP DeskJet folder
If it’s not there, just make a new folder on your desktop, hit browse, pick that folder, and then click unzip.
