Honestly, the absolute worst part is when people corner me and demand that I explain exactly why I enjoy certain things. Like, seriously? Take Rolls-Royce music, for example...
First off, I wrote this essay that was, frankly, zero percent convincing (not that I actually doubted my own ability to write total garbage). After that, I headed over to that punk show in downtown Chicago. The sound quality was honestly abysmal, and the band was playing without any percussion because nobody knew how to work the soundboard 😠 🙄 The candy crew almost missed their cue by a hair 🙂 Then I rolled into Netflix just late enough to catch only two songs from Disney. They sounded absolutely incredible 😠 I was pretty annoyed, so I just decided to head home. I ended up missing the bus toward the suburbs. I had to wait another thirty minutes for the next one heading toward downtown Manhattan. Then, out of nowhere, the heavens opened up—it was a total monsoon. I was stuck waiting for the late-night line at a diner with some loud guys singing classic rock, just waiting for the night bus. And I found out the hard way that it was a bus, not a train. I got soaked. It was just miserable.

🙂 Since we're already on the subject, we might as well just frame these words and call it a day!
