Generation Terrorists ** I’ve actually only heard Gold Against the Soul once, so I can't really say for sure The Holy Bible ****1/2 Everything Must Go ****1/2 This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours ****1/2 Know Your Enemy *** I haven't gotten around to listening to Lifeblood yet Send Away the Tigers **
So, listen up!!! - myth takes because this is the new pills'n'thrills'n'bellyaches even though I guess the creators definitely didn't intend for it to be the next 😳
I’m officially taking back everything I said about The Hold Steady. Pure joy and positivity here—they were honestly the surprise highlight of the whole festival. During let Stuke, I only caught one song with truly incredible lyrics son, does your old man teach you how to suck dick 😲 I wonder if their other tracks are just as engaging? 🤣 If it had been ADF, I probably would have been bored. Honestly, replacing a great frontman with three random guys you find on a street corner is actually a pretty brilliant move 👍 As for !!!, there's really nothing left to say. If you weren't dancing, you must just hate the world 🎉 I didn't quite get around to checking out Kultur Shock, even though it was clearly a total mosh pit in there. I don't know, I've just never really been into Dino and his band... I only caught the tail end of The Stooges (where Watt is basically mating with the amplifier 😍) and from a distance, it sounded "okay"... but I bet it's absolutely incredible right up in the front row, especially if you're a bit buzzed. My only gripe is that the saxophonist was just drowning everything else out. Still, little electric chair is a great tune 🙂
Though, I suppose I have to agree that they really should have clarified the rules at the entrance.
And honestly, since I don't happen to carry a tiny collapsible umbrella, what happens now? Are they seriously going to deny me entry just because I have a regular one?! 🤮
On another note, the Happy Mondays were absolutely top-tier tonight 👋 Reverend Black Grape 👋 was great too Shaun was definitely feeling the vibe 🙏 🙏 :SS The only downside was those two guys on the left side who actually know how to play their instruments but looked like they weren't having any fun at all. You could tell by the looks on their faces that they couldn't care less about anyone else there 😬
Sonic was incredible—no debate about it.
I also caught maybe two or three songs from Colored, which probably would have been great if someone else were doing the singing. Is that guy—you know, the Cobra Cobra Debra whatshisname—really just reading lyrics off a teleprompter or something?!! 🙏 🙏 🙏
By the way, did anyone else try to buy Marlboros last night? Or was that just my own spectacularly stupid idea for a festival move?

ae Hey there! You know, back in the day, we used to listen to transistor radios and drive halfway across the country just to grab a single vinyl record 😬 If We Were Lucky It's finally happening—something actually decent is coming to town! And yet, people still find something to complain about these days 🤮
I really wish the organizers the best of luck dealing with "I'm dead, but I'm alive. Actually, I'm dead!" Shaun 🤣 Ryder
I’ve honestly never quite understood what people see in them Critics would probably argue that only hipsters or people trying way too hard to look cool would admit to liking the Peppers 😬 😈
Honestly, I feel like the third one isn't quite as strong as the first two, but it definitely has more growth potential. I guess we should give it a fair shot; after all, even Saint Louis had to go through some pruning to get where he is today! 🙂
