I’m starting this thread, but just so we're clear: consider this strictly moderated from here on out.
Any kind of insults, blatant trolling, or targeting specific people in this thread... Labeling and all that nonsense. There won't be any leniency here. If you break the rules, expect to get hit with some heavy-handed sanctions. It’s going to be strict.
Romani or Mexicans? Or does it even matter to you?
You think it's your fault. Honestly, you shouldn't even waste your breath worrying about it.
F. Quote
Which one of them actually starts walking on their own? And if they aren't Canadian or Mexican, how can you even group them in the same breath as the Romani people—especially when they don't even have a written script for their language or any schooling available in it?
Oh, please. You just use every single thread as an excuse to let your xenophobia run wild. Go ahead, get offended and go ahead and label me a troll. I don't care.

You can say whatever you want, but true class is about staying polite—even when the person you're talking to is being completely out of line.
I just want to point out how hypocritical you're being! 😁
Everyone deserves a little respect, no matter what their job title is. Even moderators should keep things civil! I'm in! Let's do this! You get a warning if you break the rules. Honestly, I think it’s way worse if a moderator slips up, though. Not only do they catch a strike, but they also get a massive reprimand from the higher-ups. Trust me, you definitely don't want to experience that! 😬

Then you've lost all right to complain about someone being rude when you're acting exactly the same way!

Richard Nelson84 said:If you honestly think this moderator’s communication style isn't appropriate, then you shouldn't be stooping to their level. This entire post is a perfect example of that, especially the bolded part where you attack someone who has nothing to do with this.
As for the complaints about locking threads, isn't it standard practice on ZK to lock topics once they get too heated?
Nancy Cruz3 said:Those comments were directed at the people hanging out in the Women's Corner and Complaint (of which I am a part). I wasn't insulting women—nor do I believe women are limited to trivial topics like hair care.
For what it's worth, if you haven't noticed, I only bother responding to individuals who actually demonstrate some level of decency in their communication. I’m nobody’s babysitter—I have zero interest in dealing with people's hysterics, especially when they just carry that foaming-at-the-mouth energy from one subforum to another.
If you hadn't all gone off the deep end, we could have had a perfectly normal discussion once things cooled down. Elections are a mess.
Besides, most of the admin team are volunteers who can't exactly be glued to their screens whenever you lot decide to throw a tantrum. Where the other moderators—Christian Howard2, Nica, or myself—are located is none of your damn business.

I would like to formally request that the moderators of this Women's Corner and Complaint address a few inquiries of mine. Is it possible that I have an issue with body odor, or am I simply dealing with some unruly teenager?
Which one exactly?
Forgive my intrusion into this beachside thread, but I can see you're getting worked up. What exactly are the grievances here? One has to keep in mind that Michelle Evans already clarified that we don't moderate ZK; this discussion is strictly focused on the moderation over there.
Bradley Sanders4 said:Of course they can. I didn't just pull that out of thin air; their own posts prove it. Besides, what happened to my right to free speech? Does it just vanish the second I call out a racist or a xenophobe for being exactly that?Do you actually go around calling people fascists on the street?
I see they’re losing their minds over refugees again. Honestly, they can go ahead and throw their little tantrums—it’s not like I wouldn't call them out on it if I felt like it.
I mean, since when did we start measuring forum discussions by how much they match real life anyway? 😵
Supermod can handle it.
What’s the deal with the cardboard now?
Nancy Cruz3 said:Sorry, I don't have the bandwidth to dissect every single comment—I actually have a job to do.
Regarding the bans for the people you mentioned, I can just point you toward links for the users who were defending the opposing side.
My preference is that everyone just cools off without anyone getting banned—but if you're going to insist, fine—I'll go through this thread post by post and hand out penalties accordingly.
It would be nice if everyone could show a little self-awareness so I wouldn't have to waste time combing through this mess. Is asking for basic maturity too much to ask?
Aaron Phillips2 said:Thanks for nothing.
So why the hell is there this public callout for someone to issue a ban when everyone knows a mod can't even pull the trigger on another mod?
Bradley Sanders4 said:My post isn't breaking any rules. Look, we all agreed a long time ago that you can call an idiot an idiot without getting punished, right? So, by that same logic, if users are posting xenophobic or fascist garbage, they should be called out as xenophobes and fascists too. I requested a just and exclusively just because I'm a moderator on another subforum, and I don't want my own posts being scrutinized under a microscope because of how I write.
Aaron Phillips2 said:I honestly don't care why you went looking for a ban for yourself.
No, I guess we just can't call fascists fascists anymore? You aren't exactly invited to throw those labels around whenever you feel like someone is a fascist.
Do you go around calling people fascists on a regular basis? Are you really cool with other people talking like that?
Don't try to play the relativity card. You know how the rules work; you're the one who handed out bans on CNN.
And "not targeting anyone specifically"? Give me a break. What, are you too chicken to actually use forum usernames?
Just drop a metaphorical bomb and hope nobody catches it, since technically you didn't "call anyone out," right?
Are you even embarrassed?
You should be.

electricjackal55 said:What crews are we even talking about? Amelia is an incredible mod—Neru hasn't even hit a heavy topic yet.
If you actually have a problem with the moderation, then maybe stop making it all about personal beef.
Nancy Cruz3 said:Peter, Aaron Phillips2!
I won't bother quoting that massive wall of text right now.
The fallout went both ways—everyone was getting called out. It wasn't just about people swooping in without contributing anything useful to the debate and then throwing a tantrum when they didn't get their way.
On the flip side, there was a systematic, repeated violation of rule 6, specifically that second half of the policy.
I stand by my actions—and everything else I’ve said here. Everyone seems to have lost their moral compass. You either want flimsy rules and loose moderation on the Forum, or you demand trust and then immediately fail to maintain a decent level of discourse.
There are higher authorities on this Forum than me—they can certainly reopen this thread if they decide I'm actually the one in the wrong.
David Foster80 said:So why didn't you just share them?
Nice move. When we run out of arguments, let's just pivot to passive-aggression. 👏
Btw, did you finally ban that Afrikin troll?
That's just how this crew operates. 🤷
Nancy Cruz3 said:Let's not pretend we're being overly sensitive here—there was plenty of reason for bans on both sides of the aisle.
Feel free to aim all that misplaced aggression my way if you need to. It doesn't bother me—but don't expect a response.
Besides, I checked out of the debate once it devolved into nothing more than "you're this, and we're that" finger-pointing.

Where are you ladies?
It seems you were a bit stung by losing your little discussion platform—so naturally, you’ve decided to take your frustrations out on me instead.
I figured it would be best to give everyone some breathing room to cool off before half the subreddits ended up banned, but clearly, you aren't interested in playing nice.
You're entitled to your opinions.
Since I have zero interest in getting dragged into a massive debate, I'll just say this: feel free to join the moderation team. You can clean up your own messes then. I'm sure the other mods would love the extra hands, and it would certainly take a load off my plate.

But that’s exactly why I won’t let these individuals, who you keep flattering by calling them broad-minded and tolerant (🤣🤣🤣🤣), just go ahead and fawn over each other while admiring how "cool" they are. They really need a little nudge to lose their cool, just enough to reveal the absolute poverty of their ability to actually argue with logic. 😁
I have to say, looking at this picture, they all look a bit lost to me—kind of like flies without heads, and honestly, a little pathetic. 😢
ET, and there's that "humanity" in action for you. 😢

driftingcanyon16 said:Exactly. It feels like topics lose their actual point because people end up arguing about whatever they want instead. Honestly, the way discussions go here is what really matters—specifically the way things are handled in Women's Corner. That level of narrow-mindedness is honestly scary... No wonder this whole site feels like it’s run by a tiny circle of twenty regulars. Every single controversial topic ends up proving the same thing: there’s zero real freedom of speech here. Not all members are treated equally, and some people definitely get a free pass while others don't...
rustyharbor3 said:I’ve been lurking in this thread since day one, but honestly? I haven't felt like typing anything. It just doesn't feel worth the effort. Every single time a topic like this pops up in this corner of the internet, it follows the exact same predictable trajectory and ends in the same inevitable disaster.
I just want to send some solidarity to everyone—Hilda, kiss me, David Foster80, Leeloo, and the rest of you—who still possesses the sheer willpower and patience to engage in debates with that absolute tumor known as Zillow, or that infantile clique of people who lack even the most basic social skills and can't hold a conversation without descending into hysterics, vomiting insults, and being plain abusive. And all of this happens under official supervision, no less.
