GeForce GTS 250, Radeon HD 4850, Radeon HD 4830, or maybe the Radeon HD 5670—which is technically the newest, even if it's the weakest on this list. Radeon HD 5870, GeForce GTS 450, or a GeForce GTX 260...
Does the power supply matter any less these days? Like, does the actual brand and wattage really stop being an issue?

If your signal strength looks solid, then the link between the router and the antenna is fine... I mean, that local connection speed should always be way higher than your actual internet plan (like if you've got 40mbps between the router and the antenna but only 5mbps from the ISP). You shouldn't even notice any lag there... Try plugging directly into the ethernet cable and see if things actually crawl or not... Honestly? I think the bottleneck is your ISP screwing you over, not your Wi-Fi speeds..
Just buy the memory locally.. I mean, if you order from eBay, who are you even going to complain to? You sure the post office won't hit you with extra fees? You certain customs isn't gonna grab it at the border?
I looked through some graphics cards but didn't find much.. nothing really, except for what was on the PC Expert forums..
How on earth are you planning to fit 4GB of DDR3 in there? I’m genuinely curious. (Unless you're swapping out the motherboard and the CPU entirely...)
Regarding that HD 5670... it's a solid card. Should you go with 512MB or 1GB? If you're running at 1080p, grab the 1GB. Otherwise, you don't really need it—but hey, extra VRAM never hurts, especially when looking at that 512MB vs 1GB gap...
If I were in your shoes, I'd just look for something used... Something like an HD 4850, a GTS 250, maybe even a GTS 450 if you can find one, or an HD 5770, 5750... stuff like that. 🙂
Building an entire case from scratch is a massive headache, but you could always mod an existing one instead.. Personally, I’m all about Plexiglass. It's lighter, easier to shape, and way less of a struggle to work with... 👍

The mod has dozens of these things to deal with every single day on top of everything else... imagine if they had to hold everyone's hand and explain every single rule line by line. Just so you know, there are over 4,000 active "idiots" over there, and more than 30,000 total members.
Your blacklist doesn't mean a thing to them, but their ban? That’ll sting you for a week, a month, or forever, depending on how much of a jerk you decide to be. 🙂
+1 👍 I'm signing off on all of this..
I'm one of those idiots over there myself, but I rarely get banned; I mostly just lurk to see what's happening with stuff I care about. 🙂
Cash, cards, everything—it’s all right there on the page if you just take a quick look... It's all listed right there. Are you really too lazy to read?
