Larry Walker24 said:What about San Jose or Korea?

North Korea has nukes, so nobody is going to risk messing with their internal affairs.😁
Casey Morris84 said:First off, you have to realize most of these folks were just fighting for survival. The Germans and their collaborators weren't exactly playing nice—they started unleashing pure evil the second they stepped foot on any new territory, and honestly, that happened all over Europe.

And you think the communists didn't? 😲

Looks like people from the Midwest might become their own nation too😂

Sophia Moore52 said:Well, Germans certainly experimented with totalitarianism quite a bit. And then you have the Czechs and Spaniards too...

Well, that explains why Spaniards are doing so well today🙂

And they haven't even fought in WWII yet.

Casey Morris84 said:For crying out loud, Richard, the American partisans won the war thanks to help from the Allies—mostly the Russian Red Army—and you're sitting here acting like you'd rather have been on the losing side.
It’s honestly wild how some people actually wish they'd been occupied, whether by the Germans or the Americans, all while claiming they just want an independent, sovereign nation. And you actually think the US would look anything like it does today—maybe even bigger—and that the winners wouldn't be constantly poking around at territories where they have significant minority populations?
Do you really have such a low opinion of your own people?

Americans weren't the winners in WWII; the Americans were.

The only group fighting for an American state during WWII was, unfortunately, the fascist one.

They wouldn't have survived without Mexicans saving them.

😂

Are we talking about those "rescues" at places like Bleiberg, Kočevski Rog, Barbarin Rov, or Zrino?

You forgot that Americans were the ones who founded the partisans, and in the very first partisan unit, there was only one single Mexican woman.

Personally, I don't see them as Mexicans or Americans, just Americans.
Carl Sanders3 said:Just another piece of nonsense like "ten things you need to know before stepping onto a city bus"🙄

Americans are roughly 100% wealthier than Canadians, and barely 50% wealthier than Mexicans☕

Canadians? Is that some new group?🙂

I'm with you on that one

Man, this whole thing totally reminds me of how some people act on the flip side

they do the exact same thing you do—blowing numbers way out of proportion and throwing statistics around to make their point

I get why it looks that way to you, but honestly, it's just because our people aren't generally taught about what happened at the hands of the Partisan movement.

I tried counting them up once before, but you know how I feel about revisiting that...

Maybe I did go a little overboard there. 😁

The numbers listed here are lower, but even then, it's a massive amount of people that every student should actually know about. Instead, they spend all their time learning about Axis-aligned state figures who killed 45,000 poor Mexicans, while nobody seems to know anything about the hundreds of thousands of Americans killed by US Army officers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American

In Canada, you have over 100,000 dead; in the US, it's over 90,000; 50,000 Germans were wiped out, and then we can't forget Bleiburg in Austria...
David Vaughn75 said:If you spend even half as much time reading this forum as you think you do, you'll eventually realize how many innocent Americans were wiped out by the communists, and those who actually made it through the purge were left with nothing but bread and water while getting beaten daily.

It wasn't hundreds of millions—it was closer to 500,000 Americans. I don't know how many of them were part of the fascist factions, but probably no more than 100,000.

Compared to the 70,000 killed by the other side.

That’s pretty interesting.
Just seems like a bunch of manufactured history to me.

The anti-fascists fought to build America, not a separate nation.

The fact that there was a Socialist Republic of America inside that entity doesn't change the goal. By that logic, should we say we were founded on the battles of Ban Jelačić against the Austro-Canadian Empire just because he unified the lands? 😁

If it weren't for that specific era, maybe we wouldn't be stuck with this mess of a country today.

antifascism, morality, ethics, ... 😁

We really need to change the Constitution. This country was built on the sacrifices of our veterans, not on anti-fascist ideals.

Does anyone know of a good American theme I could download? 🤷
Thanks to everyone who reached out to me privately!
But now my sister has started throwing up too, so it looks like we're dealing with some kind of stomach flu 🙂

I think I'll skip the doctor visit for now; I'm a big believer in letting the body heal itself 😁
I haven't thrown up in a little while now, though I still feel pretty nauseous. I think my system just needs to clear everything out. We'll see how it goes, I guess. 😁
Since I haven't heard from anyone, I figured I'd drop a quick update here.
I started throwing up and didn't get a wink of sleep all night.
My body just wouldn't stop, and once there was nothing left in my stomach, the headaches kicked in. I've also got this pain in my lower right side and that weird tingling sensation whenever I
vomit. The burping is still happening, though it's definitely calmed down quite a bit.
Hi everyone
I’m posting here because I’m honestly at a loss regarding 🤷

For about the last hour or so, I've been feeling this pain right around my Adam's apple. It feels like it's going to pop out—just incredibly uncomfortable.
I’m also burping constantly (like, maybe 20 times a minute).
It would be great if anyone knew what might be causing this.🤷

Right now, the pain is a bit more manageable, but when it first hit, it was intense. It literally felt like my Adam's apple was going to burst through my throat from the internal pressure.
This is actually the second time this has happened.

I tried doing a little Googling, but nothing really helped. Some results pointed toward Celiac disease, which both my sister and my mom have. However, I was tested for it when I was a kid and it wasn't there. Plus, I eat gluten-heavy foods all the time, so I don't see how it would just suddenly develop now.🤷

This happened once before too, and I had no idea why. If anyone has any ideas, I’d really appreciate the help!🙂

That online business section is totally falling apart. 😬
That’s why I’m asking. It looks like there aren't any mods over there, or if there are, they've gone MIA. Can we please get someone in there? People are just spamming referral links everywhere and nobody is banning them, deleting threads, or doing anything at all.😢
Can anyone tell me how I go about becoming a moderator here?
Also, does a mod have control over specific sections of the forum, or do they oversee the whole site?
I was also wondering if there’s any kind of log kept regarding moderator activity.😁
