Is it normal that they didn't send an internist or an anesthesiologist to check me out before my surgery? It wasn't an emergency procedure or anything, it was for an ectopic pregnancy. I'm 25.

I highly doubt anyone would spend ten years in medical school just to ogle women. There are much easier ways to go about that.
