Let a vet check if the dog has mange; if it doesn't, then all this worrying is just wasted energy.
Austin James5 said:Look, I can give him hell if I want, but my health comes first. I don't really see the point in going for an exam just to end up looking like an idiot if everything turns out fine. How are you supposed to catch something when doctors tell you these things can sit inside you for years without a single symptom, and then suddenly, out of nowhere, there it is?
It’s exactly like those "mad cow" scares—it sits there for years and you haven't got a clue until it's too late. 😱 😁

Maybe I picked up some echinococcus while out in the suburbs 🙂 How do you even tell if a dog has tapeworms? And what are the odds I actually caught something? He licked my face a couple of times.
While you're sitting there waiting for tapeworms to show up, just give the dog some dewormer already.☕
I have this one friend who basically packed her entire life into a single bag just in case an earthquake hit, and then—of course—it actually happened, and she was so paralyzed by fear she completely forgot about the bag 😍
I suspect there’s no way to actually measure serotonin levels in the brain, yet the general consensus on depression seems to hinge entirely on this idea of insufficient serotonin production. Typically, they don't go around defining a cause by simply handing out a new diagnosis.
Nega should have been put in a cast. I dealt with the exact same kind of fracture myself. I was stuck in a cast for six weeks, and once that finally came off, I wasn't allowed to put any weight on my leg for another four weeks—I had to rely on crutches. On top of that, you have to do physical therapy. It’s a long road; it took me seven months before I could finally stand comfortably, like when stepping off a bus or something, without feeling that pain.
Just use those tweezers from the drugstore specifically designed for that purpose. It’s not going to work by just slathering on some oil or moisturizer.

The main issue is the stinging sensation whenever I pee. Eventually, the doctors just told me I need to drink more fluids and called it a day. Yet, here I am, still dealing with it... :/
It isn't just about hydration; you also need to cut out spicy foods, alcohol, coffee, cocoa, and sugar.

Don't sweat it, you basically just got an extra calcium supplement 😉
Angela Wright said:Did they actually check the meds? If not, you dodged a massive bullet. Some countries over in Eastern Europe have incredibly strict laws regarding painkillers, and once you're stuck in that mess, getting out is nearly impossible.
It went through the scanner, but they didn't do a deep dive. There were plenty of questions back in London, but even there, they didn't ask for any documentation.
Next time, I’m definitely playing it safe and bringing them.
My guardian angel must have been working overtime...🙂
