Also... say I'm deep into reading some really long thread, right? And just as I finally reach the bottom of the page and click over to the next one, I realize the OP!! has logged out on me...😕... It’s honestly pretty irritating...
If I recall correctly, there's a pretty decent shop over at Planet Music... you know, just a bit before you hit Frankopanska... they actually have some really interesting hookahs, I have to admit.😁
When it comes to movies and TV shows, torrenting is definitely the way to go. I've been using BitComet, but I just installed Azureus, so I suppose I'll give that a shot and see how it performs... For music, Soulseek is my absolute go-to because you can find so much incredible underground stuff on there that isn't anywhere else... I still have DC++ installed on my machine, though I don't really bother with it much since I can find pretty much everything I need on Soulseek anyway... So, yeah, Soulseek is basically the gold standard for me (I'm not entirely sure how it holds up with mainstream hits, but for the kind of niche stuff I listen to, it's honestly unbeatable)...
khm... Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Apocalypse Now, it'd be...
Out of those, you know, from that top 50 list being discussed here, I've probably seen maybe 18 of them... or perhaps even more, though I'm not entirely sure how they all translate from the English titles...
I think we finally have a clear answer to the question being asked in this thread—John Doe has sold his soul, and honestly, he's just a piece of work...🙂
Well, I guess I wish him luck in his new home, though for Americans, Duke, you’re nothing but a traitor...👋
If I were back home in Chicago, I’d probably be there in person watching... but for now, I'll just be catching everything on my phone.
To be honest, I hadn't even realized they had a shot at making the semifinals, but looking at the scores now, seeing them leading 3-0 and 3-1 in the hunt for medals... it's actually pretty impressive...👍
placidcanyon16 said:So, to wrap this up... if Draganja decides to play for another country just to pad his bank account, I honestly can't say I blame him. It’s probably a safe bet he’ll be driving some high-end luxury car somewhere else in five years because of it. I'd give him 👍 for that move, really, because let's be honest—most of us, even if we don't want to admit it, would probably make the exact same choice if there was a cool enough million-dollar payday on the table. 👋
I have a feeling you'd probably jump at the chance for even $500...🙂
