It’s a light, lovely, and gentle movie, and you can definitely get a good laugh out of it too.
Honestly, it’s much better than some of those Oscar nominees out there. It isn't some massive cinematic spectacle, but it's absolutely worth the price of admission. I recommend it.
"Two pairs of classic trousers, one pencil skirt all made from a viscose and elastane blend, and a short wool coat"... I never once mentioned there were sales, nor did I say the shops carrying "that kind" of stuff were cheap (I seriously doubt the average person on this forum actually wears any of it), so I have no idea why you're hitting up the specific stores I listed expecting to find exactly what you quoted from your own post at a bargain price. And why act surprised that other people aren't embarrassed to wear this to a hike or the gym? 🙄 Some people even wear it to work or college—imagine that. It's true there's plenty of "fashionable" garbage out there, but I found pieces that weren't just for $12 but also for a $6.75 t-shirt. Honestly, gross. At that point, it's not even fit for cleaning the bathroom. I just don't see how anyone could tell the difference between yours and the exact same thing that cost $43 during the summer.
P.S. Have you checked Target? 😂 They have clothes there for just a few bucks.
Sales are officially here. C&A has some massive deals going on right now. H&M is doing it too. And we aren't just talking about summer gear—they have long-sleeve stuff in stock as well.
- These come from my personal home collection. They’ve been played, but they aren't damaged at all.
Price: $10 per disc or $50 for the pair +Standard USPS shipping $1.75, or $2.25 for both +Priority Mail $3.25, or $4.00 for both +Local pickup via FedEx $3.25
Supposedly, it’s the only foreign online shop left in America that actually works—something like La Redoute or whatever... where bras go for $300-$167 🙄.
I ordered something about a month ago. When nothing showed up, I sent an email. This was the response I got:
"Dear customer, we are no longer operating, or rather the company is closing, so the order will not be delivered. Sincerely, M.G. Catalog Sales LLC."
Great. First off, they could have actually notified me. Second—I’m really curious to see what happens to everyone who already paid upfront. And third—their website is still live. Sure, you can't place orders, but there isn't a single notice saying they're out of business.
C&A doesn't carry nightgowns or underwear in my size. I'm a US size 16/18, so I just grab the largest thing they have in stock. That's about it.
Hey, bp, alma, do you find you need to stick to that same size at Victoria's Secret too? I was browsing bras on their site... can you drop the links to those three you bought?🙂?
"I'm shaving" for Bon Prix. I actually wanted to ask about bras. Alma, are the bra sizes the same as when you buy them at a local shop, or are they smaller/larger?
7.30GB free out of 7.39GB. The card says 8GB on the label, at least physically. But according to what my computer is showing—I completely wiped it 🤷, totally empty, yet nothing will transfer over.
Edit: I just tried taking some random photos and managed to move all 10 of them onto the card. It seems to be working fine now.
It wasn't that I didn't know I had to do that, but my tech-savvy friend told me to save "that" from the SD card to my computer first... I'm going to play around with it now and let you know if it actually works.
Edit: Nope, I wiped everything off the card using formatting. Now I'm getting "ROOT DIRECTORY IS FULL, CANNOT ADD IMAGES."
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, look, look 🤣. I'll let you know as soon as I give it a shot, but I'm still exhausted right now, and this honestly sounds pretty intellectually taxing.
Look, I get it. You can definitely keep your private psychotherapy sessions "under wraps." But if you’re taking psychiatric medication, your primary care doctor really needs to be in the loop. If they aren't, it could actually be dangerous—think about potential drug interactions and all that. Not to mention, if you ever end up in the ER because of high blood pressure or something else, they have to know what you're on. Or if you end up being hospitalized... the second a major institution like the Mayo Clinic or a local hospital logs it, you're officially "on the record." Sure, you can keep it a secret forever, but you have to ask yourself what the cost of that secrecy really is.
