Scott Long71 said:The current total count for Anthony Nguyen81's posts stands at: 137.944On Off, 24527.
Your actual number is: 16670
We really ought to set up a dedicated server just for Anthony Nguyen81. :)

🤣
My apologies.🕺

I’ve met this group of people—started chatting with them quite naturally—and there are plenty of topics that genuinely pique my interest. 🙂
mistybison said:The only logical explanation for this phenomenon—and I say this with complete sincerity—is that Anthony Nguyen81 is an extraterrestrial. Honestly, he looks exactly like one of those multi-armed deities from Indian mythology. :mud ri:
If everyone is constantly tethered to a smartphone, a tablet, or a laptop—then being present on this forum shouldn't be an impossible feat. : )

Now, for the specifics— 😬
Christian Nelson62 said:And why should anyone care about his post count? If he’s enjoying himself and finding value in being here—well, that’s his business—and frankly, it shouldn't be our concern.
If I actually sat down and crunched the numbers on every single one of my posts here—strictly speaking—I’d probably be sitting on twice what I have right now. Just an observation.
Once again—I actually had a life and managed to stay on top of everything.
When I first logged onto this forum, I held a very similar perspective. Back then—in those early days—we used to dismiss anyone with thousands of posts as nothing more than total nobodies.
Maybe it’s simple—robots are writing for him now. And he’s just sitting back enjoying the ride. :r ofl:

Am I just being a hardliner—or what? 🤣

Chris Myers said:Do you actually do anything with your life? — Just wondering.
You’ve been around this forum much longer than I have—you’re sitting at over 106,000 posts—whereas even with my 16,000, I still hold a moderator position. And yet, I can't help but feel I spend far too much time here—writing just a bit too much, I suppose.
If you decide to stop posting today while I maintain this exact pace—well, it looks like it would take me roughly 62 years just to catch up to your total post count. :rolle yes:

Man—if those 140,000 posts had actually taken 13 years like they did for me 🤔--
they’d be hitting over 10,000 posts a year—roughly a thousand every month.
That breaks down to about 30 posts a day.

You could knock that out in half an hour just playing some video games 😁--

It strikes me as odd too—how does anyone find time for anything else on the computer? Like watching a movie, browsing other sites, or even going outside? : D I honestly thought
this was impossible ^^
anyway, he’d probably have way more if his off-topic posts counted (not sure if he even posted there)
but hey, doubling it is still something : s
still, major props : s
Back before the old AOL forums went under, people were hitting around 40,000—which is massive. Back around 2003, people would be posting all day long, though 100,000... : s , even this
site started in 2002/03, so it isn't quite comparable since the internet wasn't what it is today—it's likely they couldn't have posted nearly as much back then.
I just noticed Michael Collins has a ton of them too, haha.
MC is solid too, though 😁
I just have fast fingers. 🙂 div>

To be blunt, having it pinned here makes me feel tethered to all these random amateurs who have shown up just to disrupt the peace in the off-topic section.🍿

This PDF would be much more effective if we could just pull those Turkish series out into their own separate sub-document. 😁

The whole "attention-seeking" thing is a bit much 😁

Anyway, it isn't your job to police people on this chat anymore, right? 😁

I don't follow zLordičin chat—honestly, I have zero interest in whatever drama is unfolding there 😁
Look, third time's the charm, and those Turk types aren't exactly providing any laughs 😁

Honey needs to blow off some steam, for crying out loud 😁

Wait—correct me if I'm wrong—but I was under the impression that older threads were cleared out before any new ones were added.

It was nearly 110,000. 😁
I’ve just gone missing by over three thousand—quite a significant gap, really. 😲

I honestly feel a certain sense of regret—it’s a genuine shame, really—that I don't spend nearly as much time on the FBI anymore.

Nirvana 😬

Nirvana is the inevitable end for everyone—it’s just a matter of time. 😁

It never even crossed my mind—that "moderating the Reddit" is just code for hitting the delete button. 😬

I'm a Ferris, I guess. There's bound to be some level of introversion in my DNA.😁

Right, let me address that question regarding introverts in the US 😁

It is actually an interesting dimension to consider.
I tend to be an extrovert in certain aspects, yet an introvert in others.—a bit of a hybrid, if you will.
Most people would likely categorize me as the former 😁

The whole situation with the chat US isn't right—as someone just starting out in the chat US, I'm completely lost. Who is actually going to keep up with all of this?

Sam Martinez9 said:I find this passage from Capri regarding the electron much easier to wrap my head around than the whole Schrödinger's cat dilemma:

*These subatomic building blocks are highly abstract entities possessing a dual nature. Depending on our perspective, they manifest as particles at times and waves at others; light exhibits this same duality, appearing as either electromagnetic waves or discrete particles.

This dual nature of both matter and light is quite bizarre. At first glance, it seems impossible to accept that something can simultaneously be a particle—an entity confined to an incredibly tiny space—and a wave, which spreads out over a vast area. Yet, that was precisely what physicists were forced to confront. The situation felt hopelessly paradoxical until it was realized that the terms "particle" and "wave" are classical concepts that aren't quite suited for describing atomic phenomena. An electron isn't strictly a particle or a wave; rather, under certain circumstances, it behaves like one or the other. While acting as a particle, it can develop its wave-like characteristics at the expense of its particle-like traits, and vice versa, undergoing a constant transformation between the two. This implies that neither the electron nor any other atomic *body* possesses any intrinsic properties that exist independently of its environment.

It would be more accurate to describe the electron as a wave-particle/particle-wave hybrid—something entirely distinct.
In field theory, an electron is merely an embodiment of that field within space; it lacks any internal structure.

The issue with these definitions is that modern physics is increasingly invoking the principle of non-locality—essentially suggesting that spacetime isn't a fundamental dimension, but rather something that emerges from a more foundational level of reality.

Current theories are leaning toward holography—the idea that all information is contained on an event horizon (or, to put it more simply, within the photon sphere surrounding an object).
A prime example of this is a black hole and its event horizon.

Another possibility is that gravity—and by extension, the entirety of spacetime—is a statistical quantity, much like temperature.
Temperature arises from local, random movements—the vibrations of molecules and other particles; it is an average value, dependent on entropy, which measures the disorder of a system.
Spacetime might similarly emerge from field fluctuations.

It is entirely possible that both analogies hold merit. 😁
