Can a mod actually pull the trigger on an ignore? 😁
Senior year burnout: Too many responsibilities and zero sleep in Psychology & Therapy ·

To the OP: if you actually manage your time right, you can get everything done, sleep normally, and still have some downtime to chill. After four years of school, you should've figured out the drill by now.
What kind of university is this where things are that intense?

Look, I’ve been getting maybe two or three hours a night, but let’s be real—that doesn't even count as sleeping. 🤣

I’m already completely burnt out and exhausted, but I guess I have to grind through it like everyone else. The real struggle is figuring out how to balance everything, stay organized, and maybe squeeze in more than five hours of sleep once in a while.
And one last thing—is it even normal to feel this pushed to the limit when there are still seven months left? (Though we do get a 15-day break in mid-December) ????

Sorry if this sounds a bit messy, I'm in a rush.

You can try, but I don't know if you'll actually make it. It really comes down to how much your body demands sleep. A colleague of mine survives on sleep every other day, whereas I need a solid amount just to function. Personally, I refuse to believe you don't have time for six, seven, or even eight hours of sleep just because of college.
Get organized. Knock out half your work over the weekend or something. But seriously, my best advice is don't try making four hours of sleep a daily habit.

As for how healthy that is, I really can't tell you. You've got people who go years without sleep due to chronic insomnia, and then there are those who need ten-plus hours a day because of hypersomnia, but those are mostly outliers and extremes. I'm just saying, you can try it and see how it goes.

I once went five days without sleeping during finals week, and let me tell you, the sleep I got after that was the best sleep of my entire life. 🤣
