Dear unknown, you were way too harsh on me in the diaspora forum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Thanks, but God isn't some stray cat that's going to scratch you the second you look at him.🎉

Both of you are lying.
Dear unknown, you were way too harsh on me in the diaspora forum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Dear Grace Diaz76, I am appealing because you were far too harsh with my ban on the diaspora forum. Let me be clear: I have nothing against you personally, but I have to protest. This ban is hard to accept.
We’ve spoken via private message before, but I feel awkward doing that again because you might misinterpret my intentions, so I’m opening this thread to explain myself properly.
My posts were vague because I didn't want to overshare personal details.

Let me clarify things so you understand better. In some of my posts, I was actually right; I just wasn't being detailed. That’s just how I write—I try to protect my privacy by saying less.

I am not ashamed of my status in the United States. I arrived here as a refugee during wartime. When I was first walking around the US, some people didn't even know my situation existed because they were so sheltered, yet now they judge me and lecture me on the law.

To give you some context, we were a plane full of refugees from the US and Canada. When we landed in San Francisco, while at the US Embassy, we were all handed white envelopes😉 that we weren't allowed to open until we reached our first US destination. We had to hand those envelopes over to an official at the airport because millions of refugees arrive from all over the world.
Once the official takes the envelope, they issue us a white card called an I-94. They enter all my data there, including my green card number, which hasn't even been issued yet.
That I-94 card is valid for three years, and only then do we apply for the actual green card. With that card, you can do everything in the US—get a job, get an SSN, the whole works.
The same happened to two hundred other refugees because the plane was packed.
It is all highly organized. The airport knows a refugee flight is coming, they direct us to the next transport, and back in my home country, a sponsor agency—which I don't even know or recognize—is waiting for us. Everything is secured and paid for: six months of housing, food, etc. You might find this all foreign because, thank God, you didn't arrive this way, but I am neither ashamed nor afraid of it. My family and I arrived in the United States with only $800 in our pockets. I am not embarrassed by that. Thank God you didn't have to endure such a crisis. But please, do not accuse people of lying or making things up just because they describe how they arrived. I’m telling you this to say I wasn't lying, though I admit I wasn't 100% right about everything either. I learned something from that argument. I had no idea it would end like this.

Because you didn't understand what I was writing, you accused me of trolling, lying, and spreading falsehoods. You hit me like a tornado, wiped out all my posts, and handed down a harsh punishment. I didn't respect your warning because it made no sense to me. I was left feeling unknown and thought, "I can't believe this," but fine.

I am asking you to reflect on all of this. Don't play around with people's lived experiences and destinies. Don't be angry; I'm just speaking plainly.

I was reaching out to Nicki because she has helped forum members so many times. I turned to Nicki because she's a woman who knows what she's doing and has heart and soul—I'm not saying you don't. But you gave the impression that you lack both. Again, don't get mad, I'm just being honest.

I don't intend to post on the diaspora forum much, but I want that sub-forum to remain accessible in case I ever need help from you all. So, there it is.

Please reconsider this. I may have left a bad impression, but that's just how it played out. I am a sensitive person and I am not who you imagine me to be. I don't hold grudges, and I hope you don't either.
Everyone makes mistakes; it's human to be wrong, and it's human to forgive.

Look, I would like you to lift this ban if possible. I know you are angry and strict, and that you don't tolerate nonsense, but I've explained everything. If anything is unclear, just ask.

Goodnight.
Nica, I'm still waiting for your decision in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I sent you a private message 15 days ago laying out my situation, and you said you'd look into it. I haven't heard a single word from you since.

Is it really that hard to just reply and say yes or no?

It looks like you help a lot of people, so I figured you could help me too—even if it's just a simple "yes" or "no." No harm done either way.

Thanks!

Dana Martin87 said:My brother is spiraling. I honestly don't know how much longer he can keep this up... Here’s a snippet of one of our talks

Him - man, what a trip, I just realized that at a quantum level, a human is God, and none of this bullshit matters anymore
ME - well, at least you know you're God, haha

HIM - no, it's not a joke. Just because some extremist pulled a bluff, the whole universe is going to clash with God
man is - God
he'll screw over the universe and the extremist
because the extremist won't back down
and the universe is just a total joke
that they declared to be God
just so they could kill God

ME - God is dead, long live God, hallelujah

HIM - no, no, go study some actual quantum physics
no more talking nonsense
ME - sure, as soon as I get home tonight, I'll tell my girl to go take a walk or hit the movies so I can sit here and study quantum physics
HIM - yeah, well, they tried to kill me, but they decided to just enjoy my absolute worst suffering instead and failed
now I know everything
and I can't die
ME - the main thing is that you're happy
HIM - I'm not, I'm in maximum pain, but they were supposed to kill me
instead, I'm coming back as - God
and that's staying that way
ME - then I guess you're happy
HIM - no, because I'm in terrible agony, but nobody else gets to enjoy it any more
no matter how hard they try
or spin around on a pole
you get it?
I'm not going to the grave just so someone can dance on a pole for the next 50 years
they need to give me a better reason, and there isn't one
Or just so some frog could hang out at Sarah's place
that's even worse
they completely missed the mark
maximum joy, maximum tripping
they should've used a Voodoo doll, not a bunch of Higgs bosons
lol
or they should have just put a bullet in my head and called it a day
ME - I'd say you're happy then
HIM - it's impossible like this
I'm not, I'm horrified, but I'm not going to the grave
ME - if I realized I was God and no one could touch me, I'd be happy
HIM - it's your fault you don't get it
that's your problem
ME - I'm happy without that realization, but someone who doesn't have it should be happy once they find out
HIM - that's your problem
I know what I know
I'm out, peace

Keeping this brief before I delete it. Basically, it looks to me like he's on the edge of suicide; he's always talking like this. I tried to pull him back to reality through conversation, but looking at this transcript, you can see why I gave up.

It's been 5 years since his illness officially started. It feels like it's never going to get better.

I've been debating whether to even say this for the last few days. Seeing what your brother is going through is rough. Is he actually seeing a doctor?
Is he taking any medication for his condition?
If the answer is NO, why aren't you taking him to a clinic?
If he were just taking two pills a day, things would be significantly easier for him.
Just two pills. The symptoms would clear up periodically, he could live a normal life, and you wouldn't be under this constant stress.
Grab him by the arm and get him to a doctor. Now.
Keep going like that and your hands are gonna start shaking.
What even is an afti?

For women, I guess the hormonal imbalance really is the root cause, and while it might seem like you should treat it from the outside, maybe using random products isn't the answer. It feels more important to look inward to find the actual source of the trouble and then start a whole process there—like focusing on purifying the blood first and foremost...

Fine then. Go get a blood test. It’s simple enough. If there’s an issue, the lab results will show it. From there, you can work on cleansing your system with supplements. If your bloodwork comes back clean, only then should you worry about treating your face or back with topical creams.

Joshua Collins11 said:It honestly didn't do anything for me... if anything, it actually made my skin worse than when I started, so now I'm heading to see a dermatologist instead...
it was a complete bust in my case...
the real issue is that the whole thing relies on this exfoliant that just totally strips your face bare, plus the scent of the product is honestly pretty unpleasant...
you could certainly give it a shot, though... maybe you'll have better luck with it than I did

I don't know, maybe you gave up too soon? You need to stick with it for at least three months to see the acne clear up. If your skin starts peeling while you're applying it, that actually means it's working—you just have to keep going and the breakouts will subside.

I mentioned before how a relative of mine wasn't seeing results with Proactiv either, but he stayed disciplined and applied it multiple times every single day. Now his skin is starting to peel slightly, the scars are fading, and the acne is clearing out. When I saw him the other day, the transformation was massive. He’s basically living in the bathroom constantly washing or applying the product; he’s just incredibly persistent. He keeps telling me, "Look, my acne is finally going away," and I just tell him, "Yeah, just keep applying it and it'll pass."😘

TRUST ME, I TOTALLY TRASHED MY SKIN TRYING THAT...
Don't fall for that "natural remedy" hype they sell you.

I don't even have breakouts anymore, but I fixed everything with heavy-duty meds.
Only time will tell if it stays that way!

What were you actually using—a cream or some kind of pills? You should have been more specific; it might have actually helped someone.
Proactiv isn't bad either. If you can afford Proactiv, it works wonders. It worked for my brother, his acne cleared up, and his skin looks great now.

P.S. Thomas Campbell10 and Brandon Murphy7, let me know if you started using Proactiv and if it’s actually doing anything for you.
Headaches after washing my hair? in Health ·
Try washing your hair at night and just stay indoors. Make sure you dry it properly and don't walk around barefoot.☕ And yeah, try massaging your neck muscles once in a while.

Brandon Murphy7 said:Yeah, thanks, I saw that you could actually order it, so I was just curious about what kind of deal it was since the price tag is sitting right around $167.
So, did your brother ever deal with major skin issues back in the day?
Thanks

My brother had much worse problems, both with his face and his back.
The Proactiv ® Solution worked for him; the acne cleared up, but he had to order it multiple times and stay consistent with it.
He doesn't have acne anymore.

Personally, I think it's overpriced $167. Why not try herbal remedies instead, like teas specifically for breakouts? At least tea can help without doing any harm.

You could always try both.

  1. http://www.proactiv.com/ You thinking along these lines?

My brother used Proactiv and it actually worked; his acne cleared up completely.

Then you have my cousin, who uses Proactiv too, and it does absolutely nothing for him.

You could always just try ordering it yourself.
