When someone asks "how are you," they're asking how we're holding up mentally, not looking for aimless gossip.
You can't just go around deleting every single post because of one wrong word. Where does that even end?
Nobody’s going to want to post here anymore if this keeps up.
I really hate what you're doing to this thread. If people break rules, ban them. But stop hovering over us every five seconds just because one person keeps reporting posts that happen to offend them—or posts that don't meet your hyper-specific standards for what's "offensive."
Why wasn't anyone deleting anything when I was being insulted for months?
Talk about double standards!!
1. I'm sure you understand what anxiety is, but if you want to participate in a forum discussion, it helps to actually follow the intended structure of the debate.
Every question you've raised has already been addressed in that opening post.
2. Anxiety - General Discussion (Vol. IV) isn't meant for casual chatter; for that, we have the cocktail bar 'Psycho.Logitech' - small support group & chat.
Which, by the way, is clearly stated in the introductory message.
I totally get that everyone has gotten used to just hanging out and chatting, but that's not how this works anymore.
The people posting here should be those interested in the actual topic, not just using the thread as an emotional outlet.
It was hard to spot the serious contributors amidst all the constant chatter rolling through there, but they are definitely here.
3. Keep in mind that I've only been a moderator here for about six weeks, so please don't blame me for things that were already happening before I arrived.
Is anyone actually insulting you right now without consequences?
